Took the scroll out of the hand of the one seated on the throne.
"The Mystery Made Known"
there are several mysteries in the chapter but we will deal with the first one asked.
The first mystery is in verse 1. “
The Godly principle of his divine WILL”. the second mystery is a double mystery in verse 5, 6 & 12, diversified union, “The mystery of Godliness”. these mysteries will be examine and revealed for clarity. But keep in mind, that chapter 5 is still dealing with the coming judgment, And again fills prophecy spoken of in Psalms 110:1 "A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool”. his enemies are here on planet earth. This is the reason for the Comforter, the Helper, our Advocate to help us through these trying latter times.
Revelation 5:1 "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals”.
In Chapter 4 we know that it is the Lord Jesus the Christ who sits on the throne. And here in chapter 5, it is the Lord Jesus who still sits on the throne, (fulfilling Ps 110:1). in doing so, (sitting until), this produce one of the main question christian have been asking today, and by other christian also who simply don’t know, or understand why is the Lord Jesus is still sitting. And what is the sufficient, or how long must he sit. So the question, “if the Lord Jesus is God almighty, how come he don’t know his return date”. this is a good question, for the Lord Jesus himself clearly said in the scriptures, Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only”. and many christian are waiting for that return date of the Lord Jesus. We know that he will return one day to execute judgment on the wicked, and to gather his church, (his body) unto himself, this promise we have. but many don’t know something else about the Lord Jesus,
scripture, Matthew 16:28" Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom”. and this, once more, Mark 9:1" And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power”. These two verses of scriptures have puzzle a many of Christians for years. that puzzle is now over, and revealed to us here in chapter 5 of Revelation, this will be no more of a mystery. chapter 5 reveals why the Lord Jesus don’t know his return date.
First we must understand why the Lord Jesus don’t know his return date. The answer is simple, it’s the first mystery we will examine, which is the principle of the divine act of his will, meaning “A WILL NOT TO KNOW”. let’s understand this “will” not to know principle. scripture, Matthew 6:3 "But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth”. hold it, how can one not know what both of theirs hands are doing, since they are both your hands. are they not your own hands? yes, but I have a will, and I will not to know what one of my own hands are doing. Let me give you an example of this. As a minister of the gospel, sometimes people come to me in confidentiality about something. What I do is file it in the back of my mind and will not to remember it until that person bring it to my memory. So it’s and act of my own will, I “WILLS” not to remember what they told me in order not to say anything to anyone else about it, even if by accident. So I wills NOT to remember what they told me. But let’s see this principle on the Godly scale that I just used, but now by the almighty God himself, using the same principle in Matthew 6:3. Scripture, Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more”. God said that he would “NOT”/WILL REMEMBER our sin no more. HOLD IT, how can almighty God not remember? Do he not know everything? Yes, but what is the answer here? because he choose not to remember, it’s an ACT of his WILL not to know.
This is the Godly principle of not remembering something. This is an ACT of the divine “WILL” of God, he wills not to remember. Now holding Matthew 6:3 in our head, "But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth”. let’s go back to Revelation 5:1. "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals”. ok what hand is the book in? Answer, the RIGHT HAND. Now Revelation 5:5 "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Verse 6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Verse 7 "
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne”. knowing Matthew 6:3, by the Lamb (the Father, the Spirit, JESUS, not the Lamb of, of, of, God, but the Lamb himself) took the book out of the Lord Jesus (the Son, the diversity of his ownself, in flesh) Right hand, now we know why he, the Lord Jesus the son dose not know his return date. because by taking the book out of his RIGHT HAND he as God, who is the Son WILLS not to know his return date. Here in chapter 5 the Godly principle of the WILL is clearly excised. and by excising his will not to REMEMBER, he fulfills what he had stated in Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only”. this is the Godly principle, or the divine act of not knowing something, this is an act of his divine will. in this case, his return date which is in the book that is sealed in his right hand, and taken out of his RIGHT hand by the Spirit/Father. in doing so he fulfills this scripture, Psalms 110:1 "A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool”. our Lord Jesus is in power until the Father say come and receive your kingdom on earth, and in his diversified state, in power, he sits until, as Psalms 110:1 states. Psalms 110:1b "until I make thine enemies thy footstool”.
Conclusion on verse 1: it is the Lord Jesus, (in the diversified state) who sits as High Priest, and King. He sits because a sitting priest is finish from his work. And as he sits on the throne, he’s in power to judge, and bring wrath on the unjust which is stated in the next chapter. So the Lord Jesus sits until his enemies are made his footstool. And while waiting he wating, interceding on behalf of his church in heaven as High Priest and helping his body/the church on earth as advocate, and comforter/the Holy Spirit. supportive Scripture, as he, JESUS the Holy Spirit, 1 Peter 1:12 "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with
the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into".
who was sent, meaning came? let the record speak, John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:18 "
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
question, "WHO CAME?" JESUS" in his un-diverse state, the Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
Note: the book in his right hand, “Written, Within and on the back side”. Indicating the completeness of the divine counsels contained in the book. And by being “sealed”, its contents is only known by it’s writer. meaning it is sealed, and only the one who sealed can open it.
