What I’m trying to say is for a while now …how can it change from a curse to hear “depart from me, you who works iniquity. I never knew you” as something joyful, filled and full of thanksgiving on how completely God removed the “you who works iniquity” when He put off the power of sin though His death on the cross where “you are reconciled” “Alive” … Live!

Please God, I want to hear “I never knew you sinner” what a great and hopeful thing to hear from God…it’s “dead” what is happening with the sword that enters the heart!

By being born again, Received into the family of God. And let the curse placed on Jesus in your place remove you from the curse of being told depart from me for I never knew you

If you do this, You will never be at that judgment where you have to call out how hard you worked in Jesus name.. Because you have already been bought with a price..

You turn that into some ceremony that was done, Like the feast of unleavened bread (the actual Night when jesus instituted the last supper I might add) which was to help the Israelites remember when they were saved, Now given to the church, to help those of us who have been saved from God to remember that salvation and where it came from. Into some means we must do to be saved.

YUP, we agree. Jesus said that. But He and the Apostles said A LOT more than that on what it takes to be saved. Why do you reject those other things they said?

I did not turn it into some ceremony. JESUS turned it (the Last Supper) into a ceremony when he said DO THIS IN REMEMBERENCE OF ME! If we don't do what He tells us to do then we won't be saved. Scripture makes it clear that THEY turned it into a ceremony. Christian historical writings from the 1st century on shows that THEY had this....what you call.....a ceremony. You reject His words, you do not practice what the 1st century practiced in the NT writings, you reject your own Christian history.

You are stuck on being right and it has blinded you....

its not just catholics which do this.. Many denominations fall into this Lie of satan that if you just do these things, God will forgive you.. Just like religious people have done from the begining of time after the fall. The human self righteousness that think you will be saved by or through your works.

Jesus said do not work for food which dies (you eat over and over ad over) but food which ENDURES FOREVER (you eat once, ad you will never again need to eat)

Yet you say, we need to eat that food which endures forever over and over, just like we eat the regular food. The fact you can not see the major contradiction there is heartbreaking

jesus said whoever eats this food will never die

You claim that is eating his flesh at the lords supper. Which he says do it OFTEN, and does not give any assurance we will never die.

That PROVES they are two different things.

Thats not what Jesus said

He said depart from me for I NEVER KNEW YOU.

He said it twice. Both times in his discussion to enter the narrow gate. And said few there will be who enter it

so because of this, there will be many on that day say did I not do all these great works in your name (a works based believer will say this, thinking they are made right with God because of these works)

And God will give them the worse news of their eternal being

depart from me.. As those people are thrust out from Gods presence and into damnation.

He appears to follow people like epi. Who think the transference to the kingdom is how we walk, they God removing our ability to sin is what makes us right with God and allows us to enter heaven

He thinks God saying I never knew you is God saying he never knew the sinful you (the lamb) but he welcomes the you that does not sin. Or live in sin (the sheep)

Oh dear God…not the epi stuff again. Take if for what it is. It’s just one of the passages I’ve read that changed on me to where it becomes a blessing and not a curse. (Imo) like the ritual of the woman and the bitter water. When taking in the whole of the word there are often verses or passages that I’ve noticed once I stop making them about me against people …or verses to prove others inadequates … they become something inviting containing something hopeful and different than I initially assumed. I’m not saying you have to agree but only that I meant it when I said I wouldn’t mind hearing that dreaded “depart from me you who works iniquity” spoken in my direction. I seriously want Him to separate it so far away that He never knew it.

Scripture does teach that. But it teaches that to people who CLAIM to have faith but had no works. Zero zip nada.

In other words, they have no evidence of faith. Why? Their Faith is dead.. Were they saved, or course not. Why? They did nto believe

Jesus taught in John 1, It is those who recieve him who will be saved

He taught us in John 3 that we are all dead. And only those who believe hm through the cross will be born again

He teaches us in John 4 that if we want the water of salvation all we have to do is ask and he will give it

He teaches us in John 5 that if we hear the words and believe we will be saved and never die or come to judgment

He teaches in John 6 that if we eat the food which endures forever. We will never hunger, never thirst, never die, Never be lost. ave eternal life. And be ressurected.

Not one mention of works in any of these passages.

Paul tells us in EPh 2. That once we hear and belief, we are saved, and given the seal of the HS as a pledge (UNTIL THE DAY OF RECEMPTION) again, no work involved

He tells is in Eph 2 we are saved BY GRACE through FAITH (it is not even faith that saves it is grace) NOT OF WORKS. Lest anyone should boast.

He tells us in titus 2, it is not by good deeds which we have done, but by his mercy he saved us by the washing and renewal of the HS..

He tells us in romans 4 it is those who have the faith of abraham who will be saved. Abraham was saved by grace, and not of anythign he did. Lest he should boast. And made it clear that those who try to be saved by works, have incurred a debt, and will not be saved.

he also talks us that if it by grace, it can not be of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace. and if it is of works, its not of grace. Otherwise work is no longer work

Works cancels grace. Unless you throw all of jesus words of us being saved by faith alone. And throw all of pauls words out. You can not say we are saved by works.

thats what the jews thought, and they are in hades right now because of it

If you want to continue to think you can earn Gods love. Sadly you will be right their with them
