Life always comes out of death; that is a God principle believers need to understand and get fixed in them.
What is happening around you today? What is happening around you today was not happening around you say 30 years ago, for those of age anyway. Point is what is happening around you today has changed, the world has changed. God has allowed the world to change and you will have to see through the changes to Christ. Things that go on in our world today were unspeakable at one time but today they are part of normal worldly living. What does not change is the scriptures, Ephesians 5:12,
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
We do not carry on and glorify the things of the world but if anything we stand to rebuke them and shed light in the gloomy darkness of their sin. The world will always wallow in the mire of their sin, there should be no shock value to a believer the way the world displays the ugliness of their nature. Don't get caught up in the world, you have to much to do to stand and fret over all the bad news and media outlets. If anything use it as an instrument of good, you can stay abreast of what is happening and know where the need is. We use the world to our advantage and it's tactics as our motivation to do what we need to do.
I personally don't believe in protests and picketing but if a person feels lead I say more power to them. Jesus never messed with his government or other such things. Only time he mentions it is when he said to render unto Caesar what was Caesar's. So what is happening in the world? You are coming under more and more circumstances and situations, the old C&S gang. It will be like that until the day you die, why is that?
You have more and more opportunities to live Christ, Christ coming through you to a lost and dieing world. Converging powers will be the pressure felt by every believer to live out what they know, no matter the circumstance. That is how the world works for our good, it just doesn't feel good at the time if we don't know why it is there. There is a reason the world is fixed the way it is fixed, and that is to bring forth Christ in you as you, as your creation. Simply put; he uses your creation to live in this world. You are the only Jesus people will ever see. You may be the only Christ expression on the job or any situation your in, you are life to a dead world. That carries a responsible that some do not want, but the fact of the matter is it is the way God designed it for human beings to live.
