    That’s NOT the “LIST”.

The list are the things that Paul says cannot separate us from God (in RED, Einstein).

NEITHER of those verses makes your bogus claim that we are robots and do NOT have free will.

    Good grief . . .

4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?” 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit.

22For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Nope, actually it has been around for years!

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15.

THANK YOU for allowing me to expose this idiotic notion that John 3:5 is about amniotic fluid and NOT Baptism.

You must read the entire context of the conversation to understand what is being spoken of.

    John 3:3-5
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are BORN AGAIN.”
“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of WATER and the Spirit.

First of all - Jesus and Nicodemus aren’t discussing natural childbirth here. They are discussing REBIRTH (born again”).

Secondly – if Jesus meant “natural” childbirth – then EVERYBODY is going to enter the Kingdom of God because we were ALL born in amniotic fluid, Einstein.

Finally – ALL you have to do is to go 2 chapters earlier in John’s Gospel to see what Jesus was talking about.
In Chapter 1, we see HIS Baptism taking place. What ELEMENTS are present??

    WATER and SPIRIT.

    There ends the lesson.

Sounds pretty dern CATHOLIC to me . . .

Protestants always claim that we do NOTHING for our salvation - but now YOU guys are moving the goal posts . . .
    It's about time . . .
Uh huh – that’s the FIRST step.
Even the DEMONS profess the THAT much (James 2:19).

In Matt. 7:21, Jesus explicitly states that NOT everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved but ONLY the one who DOES THE WILL of the Father.

You CANNOT sit back and be disobedient and expect to be saved.
Salvation REQUIRES your cooperation with God’s grace.

Nowhere in the text does Jhn 3 give any hint of H2O. It's referring to either of the two,

    1. mothers womb or
    2. spiritual water in Jhn 7

Not that I agree with his interpretation...but according to it wouldn't he be saying that a person can't be born again of the Holy Spirit as a fetus? (John the Baptist would be an exception to this rule).

That a person must be born both naturally and physically...this appears to be a valid interpretation; though I would not stake my eternal life on its validity.

If I confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God already abides in me and I in God...and therefore such a confession would be the evidence of having been born again. iow, when I make such a confession it means that I am already saved.

Now of course you have the Jehovah's Witnesses, who believe that they are saved because they will tell you that Jesus is the Son of God....however they do not define this properly according to all of scripture (specifically Isaiah 9:6). And therefore they have provided for themselves a false assurance based on a misinterpretation of scripture (1 John 4:15).

And NOWHERE it eh text does He mention “Spiritual” Water.
YOU are adding to Scripture what is NOT there.

As I showed you before – just TWO chapters earlier, we see the Baptism of Jesus – with H2O and the Holy Spirit. Right AFTER His conversation with Nicodemus – we see Jesus and the Apostles Baptizing with H2O.

    Deal with that . . .

It has ZERO validity, given the context of the conversation.
Only through some pretty impressive Scriptural acrobatics can one come to the "amniotic fluid" conclusion.
    “Already” saved.

Interesting – because the Bible ALSO says that Christians in the process of BEING saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, 2 Cor. 7:1, Phil. 2:12, Heb. 12:14).

The Bible ALSO says that they WILL BE saved (Matt. 24:13, Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15).

These are verses that you need to harmonize with the ones you cherry-picked.

Saved in the sense that God (even Christ...Colossians 1:27) dwells in their heart

I don't feel the need to argue any further...I've been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins myself.
