Never said she was mother of the divine nature but mother of God
In what way do you use that though? That is the problem. If by the mother of God you mean she was the human that gave birth to Jesus who is both God and Man, then in that sense, and that sense alone, yes. But if by that you mean she gains some special status because of that, no.

Where in the Bible does it say unequivocally say that Mary is the mother of God? The best you can come up with is that Elizabeth calls Mary the mother of her Lord.

Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." No mention of His mother.
John 1:1, " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God." No mention of His mother.

That's a contradiction of terms. Being the mother of the divine nature and the mother of God would be the same thing. She's the mother of Jesus' earthly body. End of story.

A body does not have a mother

the person of Jesus has a mother

Jesus is God
Mary is his mother
Mary is mother of God
Mother of Jesus who is God
Not the divine nature

Do you believe in the divinity of Christ and the trinity?

Uh, yes a body does have a mother.
What, did you fall asleep in biology that day?

the person of Jesus has a mother
Only in regard to his physical body. Jesus exists from eternity past.

Mary is mother of God
That's just stupid.
God has no mother. No beginning, no end. God has always been. Mary is not the mother of God, lol.

Mother of Jesus who is God
Not the divine nature
Correct, Mary is not the mother of the divine nature. So stop calling Mary the mother of God. What an idiotic belief.

Wow, what a title.

Now I know you've lost sight of Jesus. You've made Mary into Jezebel and an idol to be worshiped.

non-sense

only Jesus is God!
Redeemer!
Savior!

mary cannot be worshiped!

Proving The jezebel spirit does not apply to Mary most holy, ever virgin mother of God!

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel...
someone said Mary is this jezebel or this jezebel spirit...

Lk 1:28 Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amounts women.

How can God full jezebel with grace?
Hail Mary full of grace!

How can the Lord be with jezebel?
The lord is with thee!

How can jezebel be blessed!
Blessed art thou, and all generations shall call me blessed!

Lk 1: 43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

How can jezebel be the mother of God?

Lk 1: 45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

How could jezebel be faithful?

Lk 1: 46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

How could jezebel have a savior?

Lk 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

How could jesebel be humble?

Lk 1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

How could jesebel be the immaculate conception and the have the Holy Spirit accomplish the Miraculous conception of Jesus?

Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

How could jezebel be a perpetual Virgin bringing forth the savior of the world?

Jn 19:27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

How could jezebel be our spiritual mother?

How is it wrong?

Mary all powerful advocate!
Help of Christian’s!

Mary ever virgin, mother of God, is all powerful in her prayers!

Mary’s prayers are all powerful not cos she is God but because her son is God!

and on becoming man He (Jesus) obeyed his own commandments

you might check out the one that says “honor Thy father and mother”

“My hour has not come”

The time set by almighty God for the public ministry of Christ had not come, Jesus Christ still performed the miracle cos his mother interceded, thus a higher law, “honor thy father and mother” if ANYONE else asked it would NOT have been done!
John 2

and cos of her intercession the disciples believed in Him!
Jn 2:11

Only God is omniscient and omnipresent. He can hear our prayers. Mary cannot.

Jesus is our mediator. and our intercessor.
1-timothy-2-5.jpg

ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MANKIND.
Mary, even if she were in heaven, couldn't hear anything--neither can the saints.

Mary is dead. The saints are dead. Remember when Jesus said "Lazarus sleepeth"? Welp, so do they.

not dead

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

It is a waste of time to try to reason with Catholics about Mary (or saints, for that matter). They live in a world of delusion. They are clearly into idolatry, taking the glory away from God and His Son, Jesus.

They pray to dead humans, depict Christ as still on the cross, and ask "priests" for absolution recipes.

The false religion that they live under is truly tragic.

John clearly and obviously wrote Revelation as a vision, yet you extend the "woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars" as Mary? When did Mary flee "into the wilderness where a place had been prepared for her by God, so she could be taken care of for 1,260 days" (roughly 3.5 years)?
