The Israelites were often tempted to worship the gods of the Canaanites and the surrounding nations. One of those gods was called Molech or Moloch. He required that his worshipers sacrifice their children to him. Here is what Wikipedia says about him.

Rabbinical tradition depicted Moloch as a bronze statue heated with fire into which the victims were thrown. This has been associated with reports by Greco-Roman authors on the child sacrifices in Carthage to Baal Hammon, especially since archaeological excavations since the 1920s have produced evidence for child sacrifice in Carthage as well as inscriptions including the term MLK, either a theonym or a technical term associated with sacrifice. In interpretatio graeca, the Phoenician god was identified with Cronus, due to the parallel mytheme of Cronus devouring his children.
    Moloch

It seems inconceivable that anyone would be willing to kill their own children. Perhaps it makes more sense when we understand the power behind idolatry.

What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God.
    1 Corinthians 10:19-20 ESV

The idols that people once worshiped were not simply statues. They were empowered by demons and those who worshiped them placed themselves under the power of those demons. The power of Molech overrode the natural instincts of parents to care for their children and led them to sacrifice them to their god.

Today no one sacrifices his children to a statue of Molech but the spirit of Molech is very active in the world. Many people consider it acceptable to sacrifice their children as long as they do so while the child is still in its mother’s womb. Proponents of abortion defend the practice with a zeal that seems almost religious. Most Christians know that those who have abortions are violating the sixth commandment, “You shall not murder,” but how many of them realize that they are also violating the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me”?

Of course abortionists don’t call abortion a sacrifice. Instead, they say it is a mother exercising her right to control her own body. There are two things wrong with this belief. They are actually destroying a child whom they have a God given responsibility to protect, train, and nurture. And their bodies do not belong to them but to the God who created them.

Here is God’s command regarding those who sacrifice their children to Molech.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name.”
    Leviticus 20:1-3 ESV

Surely he feels the same way about today’s worshipers of Molech. Of course the church is not a nation, as Israel was, so we have no authority to use force to end abortions, but we should do what we can to get our nations to outlaw abortion, and we should do all was can to show others how evil it is.

Have you ever heard anyone say something like this, “I am personally opposed to abortion but I don’t feel that I have any right to impose my beliefs on others”? God has something to say to these people.

And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech.
    Leviticus 20:4-5 ESV

There can be no neutrality on the issue of abortion. Either you are opposing it or you are supporting it, either actively or passively. If you don’t know what kind of action you can take to stop abortion, you might find help on one of these sites:

those in the world that are not Israeli are not in the Covenant in the case of Leviticus, just as its correct to let your fellow Christian know when they are on the wrong path, or should one member be a detriment to the group. but that's within the group, not the rest of the world. the Lord made Israel a particular people, not raving lunatics that require the rest of the world to be like them, or think like them or believe like them.

no one wants to be like you, and they shouldn't. if they should want to be like someone then it should be Christ Jesus.

though this is out of context the statement remains true without context.

Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

the bottom line is you don't have to be against anything in the world, you just have to be for, the Kingdom of Heaven while you are in the world.

When we look at and understand what Israel truly means right from the beginning, it starts with one man, and one must understand why he was called Israel ! and sadly most religious shy away at educating people about this topic, why do they do this ? well because they are of Satan.

Once one understands about that foundation then one comes to the Tribe of Israel and we see that they are a religious Tribe that are exclusive and a totally united tribe under God, that's the intent, they have no other tribes coming to undermine them with stupid idolising nonsense, all others outside of Israel are a Pox to them for such is a curse because they know not Gods ways. Now God was with the Tribe of Israel as Israel was serving God.

But the History proves that not all of the Tribe were worthy of Israel, such people were banished all through it's history and then we see the tribes split and the creation of Judah and such history shows that when the turned their backs on God they failed and only progressed when they were with God and then we see that even the tribe of Israel fell and then Judah fell. but their was a remanent that was left and it was then that Christ Jesus came for His People ? His People ? and we know that Holy Moses said about such would come and that only the true Israelites would know him ? and yes they who were True Israelites did have faith in Jesus Christ because they were True to God and we see this with Nathaniel who is the first one to know who Jesus Christ truly is and it's what Jesus says to Nathaniel that really an eye opener to any true Christian today. what was it that Jesus said to Nathaniel ? well Jesus said that Nathaniel was a True Israelite ! :D and all, not to mention what he would see ! that was the Key to Christianity shown right their ! every true Christen should totally understand that point. because Nathaniel was a True Israelite he was had it all as in class as to God, top marks 10 out of 10, now the rest of the ones with faith in Jesus were true to Israel, so they are classed as Israelites as well and their was others about that Jesus said to them ? go out and seek the Israelites and if they do not take heed to what they are saying to them about Jesus, to turn from such a one ? because such are not truly worthy of being Israelites in fact, so they were to take nothing from them, not even the sand of their sandals = Zero regard for anything such may of said and all, because such a one did not cut the grade. 0 out of 10 so such failed to cut the mustard. for they were not worthy of God but were trapped in religion of man.

So the Satanist are peddling that the Israelites are a race worthy of God, well history proves such is a total lie, it's not because of such a race but by the same regard as Jacob Israel himself was worthy of God and that's why the Angel gave him the Name. so too is it with anyone who claims such they have to be worthy of such in fact.

The Satanist will claim that they are what ever ? they lie ! they are from their Father of Lies, as Jesus said they were in fact.

When one comes claiming to be a Jew nowadays the Satanist are supporting this falsehood as claiming such to be Gods chosen, that's false !

The Only Hebrews that were worthy of God were they who had faith in Jesus and when Jesus went to Heaven, it was that group of Hebrews that were the Christian Church and they grew from their on for all people race regardless, because the Holy Spirit is the Power that one needs to connect with Jesus Christ, as no one can come to the Father but through his only begotten Son. there is no other way. you must be truly born again of the Holy Spirit.
One who does not have the Holy Spirit is not worthy of God now for 2000 years. so how can some stupid moron claiming to be a Jew be taken seriously by any worthy Christian ? as such a one must be lost .
The claims nowadays of Jews is insane, Oh they are our elders, big brothers and such, well no they are the ones who missed the boat and are like a some brat relation misfit that still has no regard for the truth and is trying to undermine you with worldly temptations. in fact they have nothing at all to offer because they are a pox a blight on the world, just like all the other religions.

True Christianity is a exclusive people and as such would never let any idolatry in the door, but expose such a pox for what it truly is directly.
One does not take a back seat to Jews or Islam letting them loose behind the wheel, because they will only destroy ones Soul.
A true Christian does not give regard to works of man or any of such madness, for such is an abomination.
Anything that is not done in Jesus Christ name is not worthy, as one can do nothing truly worthy if it not in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, there is no shadows as to our Lord and Saviour, he exposes all ! as he leads us into the Kingdom of God. where his Will, will be done.
Remember what is said about this, I send you out amongst the wolfs ? well that the ones who are in the Kingdom of God going out into this world exposing the darkness of this world, a carnal people know no better and can love the darkness, for it empowers their own ego, such are under the power of Satan.

That's true theophilus, even the majority of constructs and conventions of this world are antithetical to that of the Kingdom. But, legislation in this world is somewhat outside a Christian's jurisdiction. For, i would love to ban cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, fornication, abortion, pornography, half the movies and TV shows, seductive and sleazy clothing, etc... On that note, I agree with you 200+%.

But, am I trying to bring the Kingdom to earth, is that even possible, or even God's will? I think that there is a purpose that evil has reigned as long as it has in this world (much to the Atheists delight in discrediting the existence of God). It is rather revelatory when one gives someone enough rope to hang themselves. Man is meant to be tempted, which is why, I believe, that we were made in the flesh. The whole point of our existence currently on the earth, is to prove our allegiance to God. Without the forbidden tree, Adam would've thought that he was a devout man. Before Christ's passion, the apostles were convinced that they would never betray him, etc...

    Revelation 22:11
Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy."

Actually, this is not true. Human sacrifice on real altars happen still today, all around the world. Those who have survived SRA (satanic ritual abuse) have experienced it many times over. And consider also, the Bohemian Grove, where the elite cult (including politicians, celebrities, etc) take part in infant/child/human sacrifice, orgies, and child hunts....of which I was subjected to as a small child, being forced to run through the woods, pursued by "bears" ...while they played the song "Teddy Bear Picnic" over loud speakers. Upon being caught, horrible things happened....

But yes, there are real altars to Molech to this day....and abortions are an extension of those altars.
