I think we need to change this movement to... "All lives matter"

It's that chant that I can't get out of my head.
"Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon"...

Even as they were being protected by a police escort...and only hours after a white cop had been shot to death in Houston by a black man while he was pumping gas in his car...no confrontation, nothing. He was shot in the back by someone he didn't even see...

15 Truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. - Isaiah 59

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. - Genesis 6

I feel most for the children these days who are being sent to schools that are nothing but habitations of demonic spirits.

There is an awful lot of conflicting information on the stats circulating around the internet right now. It's kinda hard to separate the truth from lies.

One thing is for sure, though...that "pigs in a blanket" chant is a war cry...it is literally calling for violence. And the call will be answered, don't you doubt it.

I seriously don't see things getting any better any time soon this way...seems to me the BLM, while they may have some good points, are just making things worse.

I think that there is a much deeper rooted problem here which seems to simulate struggles colored people experienced before the civil rights act was introduced in 1964. JMHO

btw the media is picking up a negative remark within a crowd. Not every march was like that and not all marchers were black people particularly those in the "All Lives Matter" march in AL

I think it was more than one remark within a crowd.
What frightens me, though, is the devastating effect that one remark could have.
You don't toss a lit match into a keg of dynamite, and not expect it to go "boom"....

All lives matter...yes, I like that a whole lot better.
I'm old enough to remember Martin Luther King, and his great dream.

"Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon" is a far cry from "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

I think the media likes to scaremonger. To be honest, I would not be surprised if this were not another attempt toward "gun law reforms" in your country. There is more here than meets the eye ~ just sayin...

Please pardon me, Angelina. I did not realize that you did not live in this country.
I don't see how this could be a "gun control" issue...I mean, it would be kinda hard to get all these angry people, on both sides of the issue, to conspire together like that.
Besides, these do not strike me as the kind of people who would advocate gun control measures...

I wasn't really considering the people involved in the protest, just those who have control over the countries media and the LEA agencies in each state.. Not sure if that is the federal Govt or not? You would think that specific laws relating to peaceful protests would be enforced assuming that these protesters were actually breaking any laws. The same goes with enforcing the civil rights Act 1964. JMHO

Here in this country, we have a law...an amendment to our constitution...that guarantees to each citizen freedom of speech. However, there have been lawsuits over issues like slander...you are free, for instance, to say that the lady down the street is a prostitute...but if she takes you to court for slander, you'd better be able to prove it. Then again, there are supposed to be laws that govern what is called "hate speech". Now, I would have thought the "pigs in a blanket" chant would fall under "hate speech"...but evidently not.
The protesters were being protected by a police escort, which makes it almost ridiculous.
Your point about enforcing the civil rights act is well taken. However, that act is not a license to incite violence...much less to kill.

This is not about superficial issues such as gun control, or hateful slogans and rhetoric..it is about societal attitudes and the devaluation of human life...just add up the devaluation of human life...through abortions, assisted suicides, killing of human beings at everyturn...human life has become totally worthless. God gave us all life to be a blessing, but now the dark side has turned it into a curse. Just look at what is being taught in the public schools to young children...terrible..yet we, as christians seem to tolerate all this garbage...a real biggie is the violent video games...human life is totally worthless on these games..you win by "kills" you do..sure it is not real but when children are allowed to participate in this for long periods it is bound to spill over into real life, and it has, BIG TIME....parents seem to be too limp wristed to monitor and prohibit these games from their children..might offend them..hmmmm...in the western world they can afford to have them in their homes..in my part of the world they have "internet cafes" where the young can go after school, and play these games as long as they have coins to play..at least there is some kind of restriction by this monetary aspect. While living in the west I have seen family businesses in trouble because a 27 year old played violent video games all night, and would not get up in the morning to help his Dad in the business, which required he do so..and when he did show up it was total conflict and violence between the Dad and his son...this is rural America folks!....Total loss of respect for life, parents, family unit, human values of decency and morals..these have all been corrupted and society is now paying the price...it will get a lot worse before it gets better. No one seems to have the courage to speak up in their spheres of influence to try and correct this downslide, but seem willing to go along with it...we will pay a very heavy penalty for this. But it is prophesied in the Bible this will happen, and will get much worse...so fasten your seatbelts and put on your crash helmets, the human race is in for a very bumpy ride in the coming years until the Bible prophesies are all fulfilled..God bless us all!

I can remember when those video games first started hitting the market...me and my middle son had some serious words over them. I would not have them in my house, and that was that.
You know, in those days, I kinda felt like I was standing on the sea shore with a little tea cup in my hand, trying to keep the tide from coming in. My rules seemed useless, given that most of the other parents were very permissive. It was a nightmare.
I'm old enough to remember when we prayed in school. It really wasn't much of a prayer...a couple of lines thanking God for our parents and our teachers, and asking Him to watch over us in our studies...and that's it. Three or four minutes, maybe. And no one was forced to participate.
Then someone got her knickers in a twist, because her atheist kid might actually hear and see other kids praying...
All the adults around me said things like "What are people thinking? Why even our Congress opens each session with prayer!" or "This is America! It can't happen here!"
And then it did.
It's been downhill ever since....
