President Morsi of Egypt was ousted as President in a coup by the military today. At this time, his whereabouts are unknown. The offices of Al-Jazeera were raided and a few of its members were arrested. Some of the members of the Muslim Brotherhood were also arrested. The Constitution has been suspended.
It looks like they didn't want religious rule of their country. We'll see what happens in the days ahead.

Religious rule will continue in Egypt, it just won't be the same flavor as that which was sponsored by the FUKUS* alliance. We're all seeing demonstrations and public rhetoric stating that Obama was responsible for the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to power in Egypt.

To be fair, it wasn't all Obama's work.
The alliance mentioned above organized and carried it out - much to the objection of the Egyptian people.
I have serious doubts as to how much or little influence POTUS has in such matters be he Bush or Obama or whoever follows as the next potentate of Washington, DC. and the gullible masses of the American people.

Oddly, the pattern of Muslim competition within the ranks continues in its historic pattern. Over and over we've seen the advancing wave of militant Islam broken by confrontations among different groups of the religion. The modern problem is that each time the wave breaks a new more powerful one follows it. Egyptians will not abandon Islam, they will only turn their backs on the Saudi version of it.

Make no mistake, Islam continues to be dedicated to global domination - by persuasion if possible and by the sword if necessary.

Jesus Christ is our only sure defense against it and the west, including America, has turned its collective back on its only hope.

but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

(*) FUKUS alliance consists of France, United Kingdom & United States with the financial backing and international (covert) connections provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The suggestive anagram was created by alliances opposed to the Syrian rebels (Russia, China & Iran). The rebels, as we know, are sponsored by the west.

Don't kill the messenger on this one. I didn't dream this one up.

It is a well documented fact that the United States is a co-sponsor of al-qaeda, which provides soldiers on the ground in Syria, during the Libyan campaign, etc. The modern group of international terrorism was created in the pattern of the Nicaraguan Contras of the 1980's, a terrorist arm of the CIA.
