.

There are four dimensions of time: past, present, future and eternity. God thinks in all four, all at the same time.

We however, can only think about the first two, past and present, wherein one is continually fleeing into the past.

As for the third, which is the future, there are no guarantees that we will even be in it, to think about it.

As for eternity, we being only human, are always drawing a blank.

Therefore, the past being "hindsight", by our memories and/or history, we have 20/20, that is.....if we can remember!!

God created time for this earth age. He tells us when time began, how it will be observed and that time shall have an end. When the seventh angel begins to sound there should be time no longer upon this earth, the only time left shall be Satan's "little season", and then this earth along with time it was created with, will pass away and there will be a new heaven and new earth for eternity. Eternal means perpetual, never ending, forever, everlasting world. The new earth would be none of these if it time as we now know, or a literal ONE thousand years!

Revelation 10:5-7 (KJV) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Creation, including ourselves, are currently subject to Past, Present and Future.

All who have been Born-Again by the Eternal Spirit of God will enter Eternity after we die or when the LORD Returns and we are transformed.

I agree that mankind now in this age of time experiences past, present and future. But for all who have been born again by His eternal Spirit, have eternal spiritual life through Him from the moment we born again, believe in Christ. Our spirit through the Holy Spirit in us shall NEVER die. That's why when believers die (martyred souls) they are still living (spirit) souls in heaven. These living souls will return with Christ when He comes again to be reunited with resurrected immortal and incorruptible bodies of flesh. Then we will be fit as body + spirit = living soul, to live with Christ on the new earth forever. We are spiritually transformed from being spiritually dead in trespasses and sins when we are born again, and we shall be physically transformed immortal/incorruptible when the last trumpet sounds and time for this earth shall be no longer.

You said 100% TRUTH here - "But for all who have been born again by His eternal Spirit, have eternal spiritual life through Him from the moment we born again, believe in Christ. Our spirit through the Holy Spirit in us shall NEVER die."

and here also - "That's why when believers die (martyred souls) they are still living (spirit) souls in heaven."

You said: "[figurative Age of God's Grace] should be fulfilled [when no more people come to repentance....."

There is no figurative Age of God's Grace.

There is a literal Age of God's Grace = the Gospel = Matt 24:14 Rev ch6 , Rev ch19 , 2 Thess ch2 , Rev 13:5-9

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Yes, David, but it is a literal age of God's grace that is written as a thousand years which equates to TIME. Since the age of God's grace through Christ began with His first coming and will not end until the seventh trumpet sounds that TIME shall be no longer, and that will be when the Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, "AND THEN THE END WILL COME"! That means the age of God's grace written as TIME, (likened to a thousand years) cannot be literal time, but time symbolized a thousand years.

Yes, David, these martyred souls are spirit souls in heaven after death because in TIME (a thousand years) they lived and reigned with Christ. The same TIME (a thousand years) Satan is bound, and the same TIME (a thousand years) when others shall also reign with Christ in TIME (a thousand years). Understanding this how can you continue to argue that a thousand years shall be ONE thousand literal years that shall not come until Christ returns? That's called contradiction, something you said is NEVER found in Scripture???

What do you mean by "reunited"? in this sentence

According to the creation account man is made of body (dust) spirit (life breathed in), and together became a living soul. In heaven when believers physically die, their body returns to dust, and they as spirit (with life) soul go to heaven to be with Christ. To be fit for everlasting life on the new earth we must once more become complete with body + spirit = living souls. But in the age to come after Christ returns our eternal spirit within our immortal/incorruptible bodies shall never again grow old, sick or die. We shall be as God had intended us to be in the beginning when God created mankind. If sin and death through sin had not entered into God's creation mankind could have continued to eat from the tree of life and live forever. But, sin and death did come, therefore to have a perfect new earth again, all things must be made new again.

ALL TRUE except please keep in mind that we are currently this = Revelation 1:6
"To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us a kingdom of priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

Upon the KING's Return (which you know) we who belong to Christ will be Resurrected into Immortal Glorified Bodies.

Only then will we be Ruling and Reigning with HIM on thrones HE established and will appoint = Revelation ch2 and Rev ch20

David, can you provide the Scripture that tells us the Christ with His saints will rule and reign with Him on thrones on THIS earth? According to Rev 1:6 believers are already a Kingdom of priests through Christ.

This is where you stumble with "It is written".

It is written = Rev 20:9 is AFTER the literal 1,000 years promised by God.

It is written = Rev 20:1-3 Satan is not locked up now and never has been locked up.

It is written = Rev 20:1-3 , 2 Thess ch2 Only at the Second Coming of Christ is satan taken and locked up.

How many thousand year periods of time shall there be? I find only one reference to a thousand years in Rev 20 in which Satan was bound, the dead in Christ lived (past tense) and reigned (past tense) with Christ, and when others shall reign with Christ. All during this same period of a thousand years, yet you argue John means ONE thousand years to come when Christ shall come again?

Speak those Living Words for all to hear!

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses.
It is by grace you have been saved!
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

David, in agreeing here does this mean that you agree a thousand years is NOT literally ONE thousand years that shall come, but equates to TIME given during this age of God's grace as the Gospel is proclaimed unto all the earth?

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God,
and the dead in Christ will Rise First."

David, you're quoting out of context! The context shows us Paul is simply saying all who are in the graves will be bodily resurrected and changed before those who are still physically alive when He comes again. Both though are caught up TOGETHER to meet the Lord in the air. One must insert one thousand literal years which Paul does not.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Indeed the Scripture does call Christ the First Resurrection.

In the beginning was the WORD
the WORD was with GOD
the WORD was GOD = Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.

the WORD became flesh = HE humbled Himself
JESUS = before Abraham IAM
JESUS = IAM the Resurrection and the LIFE

JESUS is the only begotten Son of God, HE became a Man, the FIRST Man to be Resurrected and His Body Transformed into Glorification
"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the Firstfruits = of those who have fallen asleep"

CHRIST is the Firstfruits of the First Resurrection for HE is the FIRST Resurrection
"No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven."

Without CHRIST there is no first resurrection and there are no firstfruits of men unto God.
"God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus."

Genesis = "Let US make man in OUR image according to OUR likeness."
Just as Eve came out of Adam so do we come out of Christ for HE is the FIRST Resurrection

"And the dead in Christ will rise first."

Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was One like the Son of Man, dressed in a long robe, with a golden sash around His chest. The hair of His head was white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a blazing fire. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters.
He held in His right hand seven stars
, and a sharp double-edged sword came from His mouth.
His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.

PEACE my Brother

Amen David! Christ is indeed the first resurrection and it is through having part in His resurrection that we are "the first resurrection" spiritually and have overcome the second death through His resurrection life, death and ascension to heaven.

@Earburner @rwb

DEATH is ONLY swallowed UP in Christ, at His Second Coming, and ONLY in the First Resurrection.

A.) But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep

B.) For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

C.) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

D.) So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

ONLY those in Christ are delivered from DEATH

It is bodily/physical death that is swallowed up in victory when Christ comes again. For we who are of the first resurrection in Christ have already overcome the second death which is swallowed up in victory at His coming. The grave is the place for physical bodies, but in Christ we are eternally spiritually alive; living souls after bodily death.

1 Corinthians 15:55 (KJV) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Revelation 20:14 (KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The 1,000 year promise of God was first established by God in Genesis.

Gospel Truth begins in Genesis

You said: "no more, till the thousand years [figurative Age of God's Grace] should be fulfilled [when no more people come to repentance]: and after that he must be loosed a little season, ["a falling away" from faith, caused by "the mark of the beast" will then take place, bringing about the final separation of "the sheep from the goats", when God ends His Age of Grace. Mat. 25:32, 2 Cor. 6:17]"

You just placed Holy Scripture in a Religion Blender and came out with a erroneous conclusion on one's own interpretation.

the "thousand years" are literal and not figuartive as you claim

the falling away, the Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast occur BEFORE the 1,000 Year period BEGINS

This is basic foundational TRUTH = without adding or taking away from God's words

Anyone who claims that satan is presently bound as in Rev 20:1-4 is denying God's words and causing division.

Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words,
lest He rebuke you and prove you a liar.

David, you said: "Anyone who claims that Satan is presently bound in Rev 20:1-4 is denying God's words and causing division".

That is what you're doing David! How can Satan be bound a thousand years, the same time the dead in Christ have lived and reigned with Christ, and the same time others shall be priests of God and Christ, and it is not now an on-going reality since the first advent of Christ?

Gospel Truth begins in Genesis

Where in Genesis can we find there will be one thousand literal years of time after Christ returns?

You are combining Rev 1:6 with Rev ch20 = when you do this it yields a faulty erroneous belief system and causes division

Follow the Truth that yields the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.

1.) The literal 1,000 years does not begin until the Second Coming of Christ
a.) Matthew chapter 24
b.) 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
c.) 1 Corinthians chapter 15
d.) 2 Thessalonians chapters 1 & 2
e.) Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation chapters 12, 13, 14 and 19

2.) the Devil/Satan has not been bound in chains, cast into prison and sealed up - satan is currently free to deceive
a.) 2 Thessalonians ch2
b.) 1 John 2:18
c.) 1 Peter 5:6-9
d.) Ephesians 6:10-17
e.) James 4:1-7
f.) Daniel chapter 7 and chapter 12
g.) Matthew chapter 24
f.) Revelation chapters 12, 13, 14, 19

3.) Reject a symbolic 1,000 years = simple Truth = the First Resurrection of Glorified Bodies takes place only at His Second Coming

Genesis chapters 1 thru 5 with focus on chapter 5 for the literal 1,000 years of a man's literal life span on earth.

The literal 1,000 years does not begin until the Second Coming of Christ

Where in any of these chapters and verses can you prove there will be a literal one thousand years of time after Christ comes the second time?

the Devil/Satan has not been bound in chains, cast into prison and sealed up - satan is currently free to deceive

If Satan is currently free to deceive the Gentile nations of the earth how are so many from the nations of the earth being saved?

Reject a symbolic 1,000 years = simple Truth = the First Resurrection of Glorified Bodies takes place only at His Second Coming

Reject your literal one thousand years of Christ reigning on this earth after He comes again, or prove what you allege! How can the first resurrection be physical since martyred saints have already lived and died having part in the first resurrection and overcome the second death during a thousand years???
