Wow! This time it's ad hom mixed with out-and-out false accusations!
Nice. :)
Please prove your accusation that my favorite "line" is "ad hominem."
Not sure how to address this. You're basically just calling me a liar without offering any evidence (pretty much the textbook case of ad hominem
Please prove that I am "always quoting that lady." This can be done easily enough using the search box up in the right-hand corner.
Frankly, I don't find any of this humorous. Trolling is really annoying. That's why it's so attractive to folks who don't really want to discuss anything seriously.
Not sure how to address this. You're basically just calling me a liar without offering any evidence (pretty much the textbook case of ad hominem--I can't help that you don't want to wear the shoe that fits).
I actually like other "lines" better: Like "straw man," for instance. Also "antinomianism," "dispensationalism," "modern Christendom," and "cheap grace peddling." How's that for openness?
Even if you could prove this (which you can't) why would anyone want to hang around and chat with someone who only wants to troll?
You flatter yourself here. More baseless accusations. But what else would an ad hom specialist say?
Here you're basically just saying "I know you are but what am I?"--A proper schoolyard-ism.
More condescending nonsense
Why do I feel like there's a lack of sincerity here? Oh, I know! Because it's just more trolling.
Speaking of opening up and answering honestly, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't address my point about popular support directly, at all.
I only replied to you initially to refute some of the nonsense you were spouting; I kept it impersonal. But, as always, you descended directly into mud-slinging, as you always do.
Unless you open up and answer these challenges honestly, don't expect me to reply. :)

You just repeated yourself. I already told you what I understand you to be saying, that one can be justified by the keeping the law. And there is no issue about the matter that we can’t be justified by the law.IF you or I had kept the law, and would always keep the law we would indeed be justified by the law. The reason we can't be justified by the law is we can't keep it. Which is why we need a New Covenant through which to relate to God. A Covenant that is able to deal with the fact that we can't keep the law.Tong2020 said: ↑
It is you who is saying that one can be justified by keeping the law, not me.

You have spoken. It's very interesting. I don't know how to communicate with utter delusion. It's clear I made a mistake in replying to your post expecting a lucid exchange. May God bless you and keep you. I can't even find words. I'm sorry I bothered you. It won't happen again.Glad you liked it but geez man the old saying is true....Don't joke with a judaizer
Ad hominem
Ad hominem
was it last time we spoke You linked me to a thread you pretended you started That was just copy and paste of Ellen's, trying o teach there is no Hell don't really want to find it, but come on be honest seen you called me a troll 3 times, you troll and then copy and past Ellen whenever you try and teach, its pretty funny, pot kettle black type of thing, think we can ad ad hominem here as well
Kinda agree here that why its always so lovely to have you pop in with your trolling and twisted remarks, you are really good at describing yourself without realizing it
More ad hominem but Hey I have a lot of evidence! you are a liar, don't pretend you are not....come on barny fiffer, ya big liar you, ...Check your pants aren't on fire, You want me to prove that as well? that's an easy one
Completely agree and that rules me out tho! I don't know why anyone would want to hang out with me honestly but but you always come out from your bridge to come say hi, wish the feeling was mutual, but why would I want to hang around you? there is a good question...
Ad hominem but I might start a Diet today I hope that flatters myself a bit
Kind of But that's how we talk together isn't it, you pop in with your ad hominem and pretend humor always resorts to schoolyard-ism with you
That was probably the most serious part of my post?
I did answer? I said Its not about popular support, its about truth and that cults would do well if it was based on popular support, I could add you aren't on a foreign island and have never had the chance to learn scripture, you cant use that excuse it doesn't apply to your reality, you have heard it and you choose to take a different route, That's your reality that's your choice, the what ifs you present don't apply to you, you are without excuse
I'm quite sincere! You have the opportunity to be shown sincere and true. Why not take it?
<<<Can I be unsaved or not?>>>
Your faith would give you the answer to that, not me.

That's what all Osasers think. They think the only other option to not believing Osas is to believe salvation is earned by works. And furthermore, they literally can not see that is not true when you show them how it's not true. That's why I call Osas a cult.
That is what counts, so why does Osas continue to beat it's drum about what doesn't count?
It's amazing how you can't see that continuing to believe in order to be saved is not you trusting yourself for salvation. Paul made it crystal clear that trusting God is opposed to working for salvation (Romans 4:5), and that there is no boast in having faith (Romans 3:27). How are you missing that?

You'd better believe it. And here's the absolute proof:That's what all Osasers think. They think the only other option to not believing Osas is to believe salvation is earned by works.
Sublime, isn't it? Perfect, poetic justice.Osas Beats a drum That Jesus Who saved them will keep them saved Because salvation is not of works,
Sublime, isn't it? Poetic justice.
I wasn't addressing you--only quoting.I said it beats the drum, I don't believe In Once saved always saved even tho with proper perspective it is true that's a man's term that's your boggy monster, I see you back again doing your usual thing tho even tho even tho you said you wouldn't.... trolling as you call it, I teach you Can believe and trust in Gods word And His Promises, you guys are obsessed with OSAS I barely mention it but to address you guys
I wasn't addressing you--only quoting.
Okay, so you're seven-years-old. And I'm a liar. Got it. I just noticed from another thread that you believe username Behold is a great teacher. That explains a lot. BTW, if you think I believe there's no Hell you've got me mixed up with someone else, or as I said before you're delusional. The latter seems most likely. So let's do some non-communicating. It'll be fun.You just did, Told ya
Yes, since I'm not Osas I can look at it for what it is.So it’s a parallel for you then.

If you really are doing that then you can see that Jesus was talking about a particular group of people, as was John, not establishing a sweeping and absolute truth about every single person who does not put into practice what Jesus teaches.I consider not only 1 John 2:19-24. We all should do that.
So let us rightly divide the word.
