7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. - Galatians 1:7-8.

How does the final gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that came through the Apostle Paul, get perverted. When you revert back to another phase of the gospel; such as what had came through Moses, or even what was said and done by Jesus of Nazareth! When you revert back to law (as they were doing), you have perverted "the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ." You mean Jesus Christ has a gospel? yes and it comes through Paul as the final words of Jesus Christ to the church - the born again! Know your bible.

Seems you are confounding perverting and reverting. Not the same thing. Please clarify what your question is?

As @Pearl said, Gospel means Good News (of Jesus Christ). An example of perverting it is to assert salvation by any other means. Hope this helps.

People are wicked flawed sinners. They get things wrong. Some get it wrong because they hear what they want to hear. Other strive to follow the best with full intent, but we all still fall short.

For me, a big thing is that we (individually and collectively) need continual guidance directly from God. Verse 12 in Galatians 1 is super important.

This is rather nonsensical. If you exclude the words and deeds of Christ from the Gospel, you have no Gospel. His very birth was described as "Good Tidings of Great Joy". And "Gospel" means Glad Tidings or Good News.

When Paul was making his missionary journeys he had the revelation from Jesus, taught to him directly from Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He also had the Old Testament. He used both in his ministry. When Paul is making that statement he didn't have the 4 Gospels to point to or reference. Paul was not preaching from Matthew, Mark, Luke or John's writings. The cumulation of manuscripts came along after Paul's death. IMHO Paul is saying that if someone tells you that salvation can come from something or someone other than faith in Jesus Christ it's false.

Gospel means Good News!

Yes it means good news but it is so much more in the Hebrew mindset and language. Meaning restoration and the 1st occurrence in our Bibles is Gen 2:21. The 1st occurrence is usually the most concrete meaning. The real meaning of good news or gospel is restoration. I just love understanding the Bible from the Hebrew it is absolutely amazing and much much more meaningful.

Yes and what is the context of Gal 1:7-8 and 12? The context is the whole letter of Galatians. The context of Gal is the whole Brit Chadshah (New Testament) the context of the NT is the whole Bible beginning at Gen 1:1. The whole Bible is the Gospel/Restoration

Let's examine how your "gospel" is ironically a perversion of the true gospel. You say Paul rebuked the Galatians for going back to obeying the Law, but this is clearly fallacious and illogical, lie as Gal. 4 and Paul's other statements to other congregations prove:

But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?" - Gal. 4:8-9

In this particular passage that is often misquoted by antinomians, Paul clearly mentions the Galatians going from a cycle of being involved in occult practices, to obeying God's laws, and then going back to the occult practices they participated in prior to their conversion. Considering the audience was at least mostly made up of Gentiles, It is both dishonest and illogical to conclude Paul rebuked the Galatians for keeping God's laws when they had absolutely no knowledge of the Law prior to their conversion. Paul specifically stated in Romans that the Jews were the only people had retained knowledge of the Law.

Here is how the Bible shows antinomians are shows to be purely absurd and self- deceived in their thinking. In Rom. 3:31, Paul says he and the other apostles were upholding the authority of the Law:

"Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law." - Rom. 3:31

Paul also told a primarily Gentile audience in Corinth that they should keep God's commandments:

"Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters." -
1 Cor. 7:19

Paul also told this same audience that he taught the same thing to all Christian congregations that God established under him:

"Nevertheless, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each person, so must he live. I give this sort of direction in all the churches." - 1 Cor. 7:17

According to antinomian logic, Paul told different congregations different doctrines, but the Bible shows it makes no logical sense to believe Paul would tell the Corinthians that they should keep God's commandments, tell the Romans that all of the apostles(including himself) were upholding the Law's authority, and then turn around and rebuke the Galatians around A.D. 50 for keeping the same laws he upheld and lived by. You tell people to know their bibles, but an often overlooked revelation in Heb. 4 shows why antinomians like yourself don't know the Bible(let alone what Christ's gospel was):

"For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them(the generation of Israelites God rescued from Egypt); but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it." - Heb. 4:2

And there it is. Paul stated in no uncertain terms that the apostles taught the same gospel that was given to the OT Israelites when they received the Law. Moses did not preach a gospel that was different from Christ's or even antithetical to Christ, contrary to the delusions of antinomians.

In that same passage, Paul says hearing the gospel didn't benefit them because they refused to believe it and lacked real faith in God, and the same is true of antinomians today. They claim to love God and cherish the Bible, but they don't believe His prophets. And as Christ said in Luke, whoever doesn't believe the prophets are fools!

Jesus Preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, Paul preached the Gospel of Grace. What is the difference?
The Gospel of the Kingdom precedes the coming King to rule. Matthew 24:14 says, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." So the second coming will also be preceded by the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Here is a link with the differences between the two Gospels to consider... Though different these two gospels do not contradict each other. ( So I am not in agreement with all this link states).

Gospel of the Kingdom vs. Gospel of the Grace of God (graceambassadors.com)

The fact that the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached once again before the end of all things should get all of us to meditate on that gospel, not to make those words of none effect as do some who divide the word this way.

God Bless.

Yeah that link separates the different ideas that appear contradictory. But if understood correctly they are not contradictory.

Precious friend, the reason the TWO seem to contradict, is because many
believe they are only ONE gospel, when in Biblical fact there are Many Differences,
as shown in your Excellent 'link,' and also the TWO 'links' below, but first, in
Light of God's TWO Different Contexts:

Gospel of the kingdom In God's Context prophecy and the law

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That DIFFER!” {online}:

Gospel Of The GRACE Of God In HIS Context of HIS MYSTERY And GRACE!

God's Approval/TWO Gospels In Prophecy vs Mystery
"Distinctions" of Prophecy vs MYSTERY

Thus, it is Clear Why Paul, God's apostle Of His Gospel Of GRACE, stated:

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said
before, so say I now again, If any man preach Any Other gospel unto you
than that ye have received, let him BE ACCURSED!" (Galatians_1:8-9)

Just imagine the angel of Rev_14:6 "preaching the (different) everlasting
gospel of the kingdom" today, Under GRACE! He'd BE ACCURSED! Correct?

Please be Richly Encouraged In God's Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided!

"...final gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that came through the apostle Paul...." ?

As if Jesus left before he finished the purpose for which he was born?

When one is truly born again they one has a handle on such things, because one is of the Kingdom of God in fact.

I have a mate that is of Paul, a Paul-ist ? one may say. He hates Peter and He rejects Matthew, Luke and John claiming they are not for today or you or me.
He claims such is for the Jews. I say you are talking to a Jew you idiot for a start, so take a hike.
He is so wound up in dictating to everyone and rejects the Commandments as worthless, I say anyone who rejects the Commandments is of Satan for sure, but they are changed, as they are under Grace now. That's a huge difference ! but the carnal man perceive such at all, because they still think such under the power of the Law.
No Grace changes the whole concept of the Law.
Only because they truly lack Grace they can not comprehend the true value of what Grace does, it matures the foundations of the Law, so now it's not seen as the Law as in the OT perspective at all. it's New ! the reality has come forth ? a new berth has taken place or come to Maturity through Jesus Christ.
If one does not truly know Jesus Christ then one will not pick up on it. and that's why they bark on and on about the 2ed coming, because they have not hope in the only begotten Jesus Christ at all in fact, they are seeking him, but in their carnal minds they walk directly past him, Jesus said that he would never leave us, in fact and I know that he is here, all one need do is call upon him and he is here ! when you know him.
