Well, at least go do the Epley movements right now on your bed. They are nothing more than normal things we all do all the time... it is just turning your head.

Amen
I have the page you sent me bookmarked, so I have it at my fingertips. :)

Helen,
You should have an electric shock to the heart at a hospital.

This happened to my son-in-law and that's what was done --- by a cardiologist.
It's no big deal and works immediatly.

If you're trying to walk around, you'll be dizzy because not enough blood is getting to the brain. Please stay lying down.

I wonder if you're taking a beta blocker.

Please see a cardiologist and see about having that electrical thing done. I don't know the name of it and my son-in-law can't remember; the cardio will know.

This should be done ASAP.

Hi Fran.
Bless you and thank you for your post.
I can't have that done.
I have been told more than once by the heart specialist.
Certain people can, others just cannot. I was told that it would cause a stroke.
Plus, they will not do it for people who have A-Fib as often as I do. It's a waste of their money because in a couple of weeks it would be back again.
My cousin has it done , he is older than me he's 83.
He only has A-Fib about once a year...sometime even two years.
So he is a candidate , I am not...they won't touch me..incase it precipitates a stoke and they would be liable.
So that is one thing I must trust God for. I'm high risk anyway.

I'm sorry to hear this.
I had atrial fibrilation in 1994. I took beta blockers for a whole year and then told my cardio I wanted to try to stop. He wasn't too happy about it but said I could try ONE TIME. I did, and happily I was OK.

I guess you know all the rules so I won't bother you with them.
Prayer is left.
Prayer is good and with so many praying for you, you will surely be strengthened by God and even healed.
My prayers are with you.
Let us know when it passes.

I know that alot of anti-arrhythmic meds can cause nausea, fatigue and dizziness. Have you had your thyroid level done? Did they give you a halter monitor to wear? How's your blood sugar?
Either way, our gracious GOOD GOD is in the works, I pray that Dave will not lose heart, and for relief and healing by His touch. Amen.♥
God bless and keep you,
-nancy
==========

Thank you Nancy.
Thyroid good.
Blood sugars good...
Yes, worn a heart monitor a number of times.
And, the amount of times that I end up in the Emerg...my heart is regularly checked out with all the bells and whistles.

One Thing that I am concerned about...is that some people who have atrial fibrillation can end up stuck with it permanently.
The longer an episode lasts the more risk of it sticking that way.
It used to be three or four days then return to normal.
The longest I have had it was 3 weeks, and at that time I was nervous that it wouldn't convert back. But praise God it did.

I am now on day 16 of this...so once again getting a bit nervous.
( and obviously it is not good for the heart at all!!)

I am asking the Lord what He is trying to teach me in all this.
I must be a slow learner!! :(

Thanks...Helen
It is so hard to keep our faith strong and firm when going through the storms :( you are on my new and old church's prayer chain. My new church has 3 locations and has about 4000 members...your faith is STRONG and He is so faithful, even if we are not. I pray for rest and peace in your mind/spirit. And Dave as well...♥

Amen, much appreciated. YES, whatever hooks 'darkness' has in me..may God shine His light and reveal where the weakness is.

I have heard it said that is a person has a couple of physical problems , then they need healing. But if a person has more than three physical problems then it is a spirit of infirmity.
At my age ...I now have about 4 pretty major things..so that puts me in the 'box'!!
True or not, who knows.

Bless you...Helen
I would not listen too closely to everyone who is speaking the negative as if they know it all. They don't. Only God does. Listen closely to what God speaks to your heart.

Then here I go speaking too. At our age our physical bodies are likely to simply be wearing out, but we have something better than that. So long as you are standing on God's Word, trusting in Him, the only spirit that ultimately needs to concern you is the Holy Spirit. I know that sometimes, especially when we have health issues we let it weigh heavily on us. What I am saying is to lean more heavily on Jesus. Ask Him and keep asking Him to lighten the load for you no matter where you happen to be along the road. We are praying with you and for you.

Helen, I know the pain, uneasiness and anxiety you are feeling is real. You have lived with it for quite a while, many years and now something is telling you that it might be worse. I really wish I could reach into your life right now and be your doctor and fix you all up. I cannot. I can pray to my Lord and yours to let you know that he loves you more that you ever thought possible. I want to reassure you as a brother that we have the peace from God that is beyond our understanding as we follow his Son in our lives.

We have the peace of mind Helen. He is always there for you and is there with you right now. I know the Lord is bringing you special care Helen that is just for you, bathed in love and warmth. Give it a little time. The Lord is always willing, and our Father always cares. Glory to you Father and heal Helen.

Bless you Helen my sister,

You are dearly loved,

Thanks Rita.
Yes, I am a heavy load on Dave's shoulders bless his heart.
I'm not much fun these last few years that is for sure.

I told him the other day - " Well buddy, I don't think I want to live another decade in this state..."
He said- " No worries , you won't, I will put a plastic bag on your head first. " :D

Hugs Rita, I hope all is well with you and yours......Helen
I can imagine Dave saying that xx
It's been busy here, and Dan has not been too good- but that's ongoing. I am heading on holiday on Sunday, last shift at work today. Using the holiday as a chance to have a spiritual respite time- still studying ' the shack ' - so I will be praying , reflecting ect ( while enjoying the company of my brother and his wife and the sun, sea , good food ect ect ) Will be thinking and praying Helen xx

Thank you my friend.
I have to confess that I woke up this morning at 4pm and had 'lost my peace'...I lay there in panic mode.

My heart has now been in AFib for 17days...my risk factors have tripled... We all say that dying doesn't bother us...With me it is the NOT dying which bothers me. Stroke, blood clot, heart failure which leaves me a drooling vegetable..even worse, NOT a vegetable...but conscious that I am slumped in a chair drooling!!

But then, we just come full circle and are resigned to what we quote so easily but hope it isn't true, that - "All we have is today, we don't know about tomorrow".
We don't even know what the next hour holds for any of us!
If we believe that why do we lay there, running the scenario's.
Silly really.

Thanks for your blessing...I must "get myself together".

Hugs...Helen

Trouble is, today I dropped the ball...I dropped my peace...I feel totally alone. ( God wise) You know what it is like when we start down the slippery negative slope....Why can't the Lord just switch the heart beat back to normal...He could do it so easily...

( this is all a very different thing to the 'dizzy head' thing. That is new, this heart thing is 8 years old on and off) ...but never had AFib for this long a duration...hence my loss of peace. :(

I know that "worry changes nothing"...but once it gets a grip it is so hard to turn it off again!!
Not much of an 'overcomer' here today.

Thanks for prayers I really need them x

I need your prayers.

Done.

Perhaps some things to consider.

1)
Repeated medical testing? MRI's, radiation, isotopes, etc. can have side effects.

2)
Prescribed meds? Can have side effects, more than what a doctor may have told you.

3)
Food intake? Some foods eaten together have side effects.

4)
Food? Ph imbalance causes side effects.

You can purchase Litmus strips to test yourself your ph balance. Most people Are acidic, because that is the bulk of what people eat.

A person's who's ph (alkaline/acidic) balanced is a person who does not get sick.

God Bless,
Taken

Brian Doerksen- "Your Faithfulness "

I don't know what this day will bring
Will it be disappointing, filled with longed for things?
I don't know what tomorrow holds
Still I know I can trust Your faithfulness

I don't know if these clouds mean rain
If they do, will they pour down blessing or pain?
I don't know what the future holds
Still I know I can trust Your faithfulness

I can rest in your faithfulness
I don't know how or when I'll die
Will it be a thief, or will I have a chance to say goodbye?
No, I don't know how much time is left
But in the end, I will know your faithfulness

When darkness overwhelms my soul
When thoughts and storms of doubt
Still I trust You are always faithful, always faithful
Certain as the rivers reach the sea
Certain as the sunrise in the east
I can rest in your faithfulness

I’m asking for those of you who ‘really pray’ to do so, for me.

I need your prayers. My husband needs your prayers because he is tired of his prayers for me not receiving answers for me.

1)
My heart is stuck in an irregular beat ( atrial fibrillation) … I was diagnosed in 2011 and usually it only stays about 5 or six days then converts back to normal. It is now 15 days and it hasn’t converted back. Please pray for it to convert back to normal.

2)
I have been having strange things happening in my body. I had it once last November and they said it was low sodium. Headache , dizziness, unbalanced, nausea , etc

It happened again…on the 10th 11th …and on and off since.

It is horrible and debilitating.

It “seems” to start in my head just a sudden two seconds of an "on/off” like a switch …then straight way the dull headache starts , the nausea starts , dizziness, any movement of my head bothers me….

I feel like death warmed over.

I did lose it when it happened this last Sunday/Monday ( it lasted for 24 hours, the longest time yet! :( )

I said to Dave ….." I can’t live like this for another decade …. are kinder to our dogs”

My doctor played the “Sodium imbalance “ card again…but I don’t believe it…I have increased my sodium by 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and 1/4 teaspoon of rock salt per day...on top of whatever natural sodium we get through food.. it was 129 , but that shouldn't cause all these symptoms and reactions….its been lower than that with far less reactions.

We had air quality of 10+ the highest on the chart …because of all thick this smoke from here from forrest fires in BC. The Emerg doctors were saying that it was not Strokes that people were having, but SMOKE syndrome which looked and felt just the same.

So for a while we thought wed got the answer…smoke !! ( I even had to wear a mask in the house one day , it was so thick)

But the last time I had this happen ( last Sunday/Monday) the air quality was down to only #1 , so we guessed it was not the smoke after all. :(

Which leaves us with… The- WHAT is it?

WHY does my head/brain do that..and what is it doing?
What causes all these symptom that follow.

The doctor is now talking of an inner ear test for vertigo …and maybe an MRI to check for a tumour or stroke. Because she has no idea what is going on or why.
I have booked an eye test which I have in a weeks time...

Being on a computer and especially ‘scrolling' really bothers me, it makes me dizzy, even on a good day….that never used to happen before these ‘episodes’ started !!

So, that obviously limits me screen time on here…I can now only come on here for a few moments then go off again and shut my eyes for a while until I stop feeling sea-sick!

Your prayers added to ours would be greatly valued.

Thanks for listening....Helen.

Any idea’s @bbyrd009 ??
Sorry to hear about your condition. Praying...
