Lights first
Then garland
Ornaments
Icecycles
Presents
Gingerbread houses
Manger scenes
Inside me cries
Mess inside
Sing Christmas Carols
Candy canes
Christmas cards
My anxiety goes up and down
Confusion
I see the tree
It makes me happy
It makes me sad
It makes me anxious
It makes me feel warm inside
I see the snow
I see it glistening in the sun
I feel the cold
I feel its bitterness on my skin
Come back soon Lord
Rescue me from my anguish
Rescue me from my anxieties
Let me be completely happy with You
No more depression
No more anxiety
No more urges of self injury
Just a tree
And lights
And garland
And ornaments
And glistening snow...
