Yes. It is like the old joke about St. Peter escorting a newly arrived soul on a tour through heaven. St. Peter says, indicating various groups as they pass,"And over here, we have the Baptists, over there, the Lutherans, and over there, the Pentecostals. And, then, could I ask you to take off your shoes?" The newly arrived soul, startled, asked, "Why should I do that Peter?" St. Peter whispers, "Well, we will soon go past the Calvinists and they think they are the only ones here. Out of kindness, we let them think that."
Or what of those who simply were not there at all...?Lol! I was wondering if any of them ever even had an inkling of doubt in their security/salvation...
Or what of those who simply were not there at all...?

I don't type. I club the keyboard like a 20s tabloid reporter. Two fingers only while eating a sandwich. So I make lots of mistakes. I edit quite a few of my posts because of this. Why bother?
Have you considered that if the Calvinists are right about God, you actually hate God?I read through this man's "questions" (which are really more assertion than question). It is obvious that he is a Calvinist and I reject much of what he says based on my own understanding of what the Bible teaches. That's the problem with Calvinists--they think that their interpretation is the only one possible. They will not brook any departure from their dogma. When one argues with them, it is like arguing with a Roman Catholic. They spout Roman Catholic dogma and will not brook any departure from THEIR dogma. No wonder that people get confused. I am NOT a humanist (and I well know what that is). It is a favorite dodge of Calvinists--anyone who disagrees with them is either a "humanist" non-spiritual, etc. the list goes on and on. They are extremely arrogant and give Christians a bad name among non-Christians.
In spite of the thoughts of some, I do not believe that a person will be lost simply because he is a Calvinist, a Mormon, a JW, a Pentecostal, or a Catholic... and neither will a person be finally saved because he is any one of those or any of the multitude of other possibilities. God is really looking at a person's heart without regard for any particular designation. God has never changed and He who looked at people that way then and He who looks at them that way now!Could ask the same of the J.W.'s. And that is sad. I love several people whom happen to be Calvinist, and have 2 awesome guys, and very reasonable, rate wise- doing work in my kitchen. They never proselytize while working, I really like them yet will never "get" why they believe how they do.

It's simple. If you consider the Calvinistic view of God and those who abhor it, they abhor God if the Calvinists are right.Come again Dave, I don't understand that?
I do believe in the "calling and election of sons"...which would also put me in the elite box, as are the Calvinists.
I believe anyone can Come...but not all will be sons..
I didn't understand your "hate God" bit in your post. ??
That remark is way over the top. And that "if" is a big "if", since the distortion of God's character and God's Gospel is a very serious matter. And since the Calvinist Gospel is not the true Gospel of God and Christ, this Scripture would apply.Have you considered that if the Calvinists are right about God, you actually hate God?
So you evidently hate the Calvinist's view of God? What if they are right? That remark is way over the top. And that "if" is a big "if", since the distortion of God's character and God's Gospel is a very serious matter. And since the Calvinist Gospel is not the true Gospel of God and Christ, this Scripture would apply.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
That sounds like wishful thinking rather than biblical thinking. And I just plainly do not believe that ANY will be totally 'lost'.
According to Christ and His apostles, and according to the Bible, the Five Points of Calvinism are completely unscriptural (even though many Scriptures are misapplied and misinterpreted to shore up this house of cards). And many Scriptures have already been posted to refute these false notions. So you evidently hate the Calvinist's view of God? What if they are right?
It still remains, those who hate the Calvinist presentation of God hate God if they are correct.According to Christ and His apostles, and according to the Bible, the Five Points of Calvinism are completely unscriptural (even though many Scriptures are misapplied and misinterpreted to shore up this house of cards). And many Scriptures have already been posted to refute these false notions.

You're clueless and have zero idea about what you're saying. Oh, so we're "accursed?"That remark is way over the top. And since the Calvinist Gospel is not the true Gospel of God and Christ, this Scripture would apply.

Yes, it is simple. We present the true God of Scripture in all his glory. They see this as not the true God and blaspheme what we show them. It's simple. If you consider the Calvinistic view of God and those who abhor it, they abhor God if the Calvinists are right.
