But you are both carrying on and being very disrespectful of other people.
You haven't shown that you deserve any respect with the way you blatantly twist scripture to make it say what you want it to say.
You realize that those reading know that people who put down others just show that they do not know scripture and resort to denigrating others.
This is a place where disagreement is expected and it should also be expected that if someone blatantly twists scripture, as you sometimes do, it will be called out.
I answered your question.
What question did you answer? The post of mine that you responded to was one where I was agreeing with WPM in relation to a post where he asked several questions of you, which was post 544. Where did you answer those questions?
So, again I ask....
If you believe that the Body of Christ is in the millennium on earth, please can you give me the scriptures?
Are you unaware of what amillennialists believe? I'm not going to explain it all to you, but I'll just say this for now.
The thousand years is when Jesus is reigning with His people who are priests of God the Father and of Christ.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them,
but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
So, according to scripture, when does Jesus reign and when are His followers made priests of God and of Christ?
Revelation 1:5 and from
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and
the ruler of the kings of the earth. 6 To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and
has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
1 Peter 2:9 But
you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ has been reigning since His resurrection (Matthew 28:18, Ephesians 1:19-23, etc.) and that those who belong to Christ have been made "a kingdom and priests" of God the Father and of Christ. So, those of us who are in the body of Christ reign with Him as "a royal priesthood" on earth right now. And the souls of the dead in Christ reign with Him in heaven as well.
