Hello to you, just writing what is seen hopefully spirit lead, question all things, and test all things and hold fast to what is good.
Romans 6:1-11
In the last Chapter Paul writes to the Romans about how faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, makes a person right with God (Romans 5:1-5), having hope through experience in life through all the struggles trusting in God, and having hope in the Son of God, which leads to a hope that is not to be ashamed. Why? It is because the love of God is shed abroad in a person who is a true believer, who has the Holy Ghost which is given to them and it is sent by the Lord Yeshua (John 14:16). Because of Jesus people are justified by God, and they are now given into a new life, may abound because of grace of the Mercy of God, to love us even while we all have sometimes walked in darkness (Romans 5:18-21) without having God in a persons life.
Paul continues writing in his letter, here in Romans chapter 6; which is part of all the rest of the book as they use to have these on scrolls in the ancient days when you think about it.
Paul goes on saying What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
What good is it to continue to do bad so that grace may abound? What is the purpose of trying to hurt someone, or try to mess with someones property, or to hurt not just physically but the mentality of a person, surely all of us have had lives we have lived that one can say they were not proud of because I have some myself. However, because of the grace that Jesus Christ had brought to believers, now by and through his death on the cross to be rendered in vain?

Dead to Sin, Alive to God
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
He goes on saying, Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? - Paul is stressing the fact, that - there is no reason to continue to sin that grace may abound - but in fact become dead to sin - to mortify the deeds of the body by the spirit, through asking God to help you. To die to sin, to become dead to something is to cut it off from you - as it is no longer living, that can be anger, wrath, hatred, lust, greed, haughtiness, malign, gossip, and surely we have all slipped up, but as christians, I believe Paul will continue on to strive for the spiritual application, and the fleshly application will simmer down, though it will always have desires come up, that one will need to give to God, maybe talk it out with others, but good prayer and reading of the Bible is good.
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
How have we died to sin? Because of the death of Jesus. People that are baptized are baptized into his death by picking up their cross, putting the Father first, and praying and loving others, in which not only is the person picking up their cross, they are actively having faith and remembering and keeping the Gospel of Christ in mind which is the power of God unto salvation. Yes, we do die to sin by being baptized in the death of Christ which regenerates a person into new spiritual life by having new access to information about God, and the son through the Bible.
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Paul explains to those saints in Rome, - Being buried with Christ Jesus, through the baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father (by the Spirit of the Father/God), even so - because of being buried with Christ - a person who is a Christian believer should follow after Christ, seeking out him and God in faith, and continue to pray.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
Paul is suggesting if you - we - have been united together in the likeness of His death - by dying to the desires of the flesh and living instead fo the desire of the spirit - certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.
From my understanding which can always be wrong - is that believers who live here now, have an option to live for God and live for Christ, in faith, and as they grow and learn in the knowledge of God and continue to share with others they will be building up their possibly spiritual home which God will give the spiritual resurrection of believers a body and will be given on the day they are judged and shall be in likeness of His resurrection.
