IMO:
The rapture of the church includes all believers, living and dead.
In fact the dead are raised first (1Thessalonians 14:16-17):
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven
with a cry of comnand, with the archangel's call,
and with the sound of the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first;
then we who are alive who are left,
shall be caught up together with them
In the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air;
and so we shall always be with the Lord.
(1Thessalonians 4:16-17)
That is mighty gooid news.
LOL. Hello! The Rapture of the two witnesses is not the rapture of the Church. You cannot even admit that. Your hermeneutics are all over the place. This is typical pretrib. You make it up as you go.
WPM noted:
<The Rapture of the two witnesses is not the rapture of the Church>
o. "Church" is the body of Christian believers.
o. The two witnesses are Christians believers
o. Hence two witnesses are part of the Church..
o. They come from heaven.
o. They prepare the way for the Messiah.
o. They are voluntarily martyred
o. They rise at the midpoint of the seven years (Rev 11:2).
o. The rapture occurs at the midpoint of the seven years.
o. Therefore they are part of the rapture.
o. They knew they were going to die, and they never hesitated.
