There is no such thing as the "rapture"!

There will not be two coming of Jesus Christ in the future. There will be one coming of Jesus Christ in the future, that being the second coming of Christ.

Why people think there will be two comings of Christ in the future is just totally beyond me.

One of the main arguments to support the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is that a loving God wont allow His children to suffer through such a difficult time.

This argument is weak. There are lots examples in the Old and New T of people that suffered to the glory of God as testimony to both those who have gone before and those who will come after us.
Think Job , who through no fault of his own suffered much while his “friends” nagged at him....falsely saying that Job was suffering for the wrongs he had committed!! ( who needs friends like that!) But in the end Job was vindicated and God blessed him greatly.
Job didn't know it but it was actually God who was vindicated and Satan was defeated.
Suffering is part and parcel of the Christian life!!

God has said "I will be with you in trouble"...not 'you will never suffer trouble'.

Rapture Top Dogs Admit no Proof Exists.
This title is about as ridiculous as it gets. Only Christians believe in a Rapture, and they do not need "proof" about spiritual things. That is what Atheists and unbelievers look for.

Furthermore, many truths in Scripture are IMPLIED, not states explicitly as in a textbook: “The fact is that neither posttribulalionism nor pretribulationisim is an explicit teaching of Scripture. The Bible does not in so many words state either.”

So this thread is "proof" that it is simply Anti-Pretribulation PROPAGANDA without any substance or significance. Same old, same old.

Why not post your favorite direct quote pre-trib passages as proof?

Wow! I would expect this kind of remark from an unbeliever or an Atheist, not a Christian.

The very fact that Enoch was raptured refutes your statement.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Heb 11:5,6)

And...if you YOU have 'bought a lie'....
Since the Rapture is very clearly described in the Bible, no one can call it "a lie". Time to go back and study the matter seriously, rather then believe all the propaganda and garbage.

It happens on the last day after the resurrection of believers.

The Pharisees also had a futurist perspective.

Yes I agree! The Rapture is clearly described in scripture , but it's funny --somehow, some cannot see it in black and white.
It's also funny that so many have no knowledge of the actual dictionary meaning of words and wrongly call something "a lie" when they don't believe something.
A "lie" is when someone says something deliberately untrue in order to deceive another. You have to know you are speaking a falsehood for it to be called a "lie". It isn't just something someone disagrees with. It's getting harder to have coherent conversations with people when they don't even know the meaning of the words that they use and are attaching bogus meanings to them.

(1Thess. 4:17) says, "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together ..."

In the Vulgate, the words "be caught up" are translated 'rapio'. This is where we get the word 'rapture'. So, the Rapture is the believers being caught up in the clouds, in the air to be with the Lord.

Why would anyone dispute that there is a rapture?

Few dispute the happening... just the timing.
