I think you're going to need to flesh out (pardon the pun) your thoughts a bit more before any real comments can be made. I doubt anyone would object to the idea that our flesh, once dead, goes back to dust, as we see that happening biologically.
I suppose the real question would be; what does the bible say will happen at the time of the resurrection. Does it involve the flesh or not? Will there be a continuity between this, our old flesh, and the new one? That sort of thing.
So...I think before I make any comment on what I believe the bible teaches, I will wait to see where it is you are going.
Job 19:25-27 KJVOkay I'm back, now trying to figure out where to start, well what better place than Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes 12:6 "Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern."
When that silver cord parts, and the heavenly Father allows it to happen, and this flesh body becomes biologically dead, the very inner man departs from this physical body, and returns to the Father. This decaying body will never be used again, ever. For the soul has entered into its new incorruptible body.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it."
The dust is of the earth as scripture clearly shows, meaning our FLESH is dust..... And to quote one of my favorite songs(dust in the wind)
I know for a fact that Christ was risen from the dead,so please as I continue don't accuse me of not believing this fact....
I'm going to do this slow,so I'm gonna stop here for now, however will stop with a question.
What kind of body did Christ have before He was born of woman?
What kind of body did Christ have before He was born of woman?
Peculiar choice of word... perhaps you are making an association with a certain valley (Ezekiel 37:1-14)?Dry good thoughts and questions...
God is Spirit....Jesus is part of God....so also Spirit. But Jesus would also come among us by taking bodily form from time to time...like the case of Melchizedek.
That's a thought.
I do believe that God has a form as well as Jesus did and does now.
So does Jesus have flesh and bone or flesh, bone and blood now ? Is he Angelic form ?
Peculiar choice of word... perhaps you are making an association with a certain valley (Ezekiel 37:1-14)?
From the Westminster Confession; Many ,and I dare say a lot, heck the majority don't understand the resurrection ,in this OP I will try to explain
To start, understand the flesh will not rise,at death the flesh goes back to dust.
Gonna stop right here,I shall return, any thoughts before I do,please share!
Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it."
If one cannot reconcile BOTH of these verses...there is no point to be made. To claim only one of them as fact, is not a statement of fact, but an admitted lack of knowledge.Job 19:25-27 KJV
[25] For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: [26] And though after my skin worms destroy this body , yet in my flesh shall I see God: [27] Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
