You cannot deny Jesus by following Jesus' word.

Your reasoning is illogical.
Who said anything about denying Jesus.
This is about recognizing our sin nature, which you seem to be having a hard time accepting.
1 John 1:8 NIV If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

When did I say I don't sin?

You should not use this verse to lighten Jesus' word.

Right, and when you do sin you do not lose your inheritance, rather you lose rewards in heaven.

Jesus emphasizes over and over not to sin in many ways. You are greatly mistaken.

Jesus says if you love me, keep my commands. Without loving Jesus, there is no salvation.

Wrong. You are still not accepting our sin nature.

Oh I do accept them, but I look towards what Jesus did for me on the cross rather than my works and righteous acts to get me into heaven.

Isa 64:6 NIV All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

Joh 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

Joh 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

Mat 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
Mat 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Why are law keepers so angry at those who accept the grace of God for what it is "a free Gift lest one should boast".

Would you condemn Christ too, God doesnt stop working on the Sabbath just because you do, if He had Jesus would of healed no man and today no man would be saved on the sabbath because God would have to work to save Him,.

In all His love
Jesus DID keep the Sabbath day, as well as the other nine commandments - John 15:10 KJV. The accusations of the Pharisees were due to His rejection of their countless additional Sabbath prohibitions that God never gave. The Pharisees claimed "ex cathedra" (oral commandment) of Moses for authority for their bogus, extra-Biblical rules, EXACTLY as Catholicism does today.

A continued life of sin is the evidence that one has accepted NOTHING from Jesus.

You are wrongly dividing the Word of Truth, ATP. That passage contrasts those who claim to have no sin (and therefore no need of Jesus) with those who have been "cleansed from all unrighteousness" by Jesus. If "cleansing from all unrighteousness" means "continuing in unrighteousness", then Jesus has been using the wrong soap for the last 2,000 years.

No, a Christian has a "new" nature. Remember, "old things are past away, all things are made new" and if you're still clinging to the old nature, you're not yet converted and will not see the kingdom of heaven, bro.

Jesus told the parable of the Unmerciful Servant to illustrate that a person who is forgiven by God for their sin and chooses to return to the life of sin forfeits eternal life. In the same way, we branches who are grafted into the Vine, Jesus, but choose to cut ourselves off through sin will wither on the ground and eventually be burned into the fire. Jesus kept the Sabbath and if we are Christians at all, we should "walk even as He walked".

No, ATP, I accept what Jesus provided for me by what He did for me on the Cross, which is both pardon for sin and power to obey. You can't be saved by accepting only the one without the other.

Did John say in Revelation 22:14 KJV, "Blessed is he that doeth His commandments, that his Crown of Life may sparkle with far more jewels than his neighbor who professed to love Jesus but refused to give up his sin"???

No, John said, "Blessed is he that doeth His commandments, that he may have right to the Tree of Life and may enter into the gates to the city."

Whoever came up with this business about "the reward has to do with more jewels in the Crown" is reading the Bible with his eyes shut, while deluding himself that he may continue in sin and still make it through the pearly gates.

You deny the word of God. Looks like you have some studying to do.

You don't seem to understand what Jesus did on the cross. He died so if we accept Jesus and being faithful to Him until the end we will have eternal life. He did not die so we can continually sin.

Correct, he died so we can overcome sin but He died also for past, present and future sins. That's what you are not getting.

John 6:47 NIV Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

I gues its a bit like those who say they keep His commandments, but dont, You see they only "TRY" but fail just like everyone else. But they cant admit it, they cannot admit failure because than their cause would have no purpose. But they need teh LAW becasue they have no love, they need teh LAW to keep them inline for without it they would sin. As it says.

1Ti_1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

And that is simply why teh "sinners" need to keep it.

In All His Love
