Billy to Bible study teacher: Why did God have to send himself down to earth to become his own son to sacrifice himself just to convince himself to forgive us?
God didn’t send himself to earth. God sent his Word to earth, and the Word of God was born into flesh named Jesus. God was with the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit when He was baptized in the spirit, when John the Baptist baptized him in the Jordan River.
The Word of Yahweh and Yahweh being God are one together. They were one together when the world was created.
Yahweh spoke -> and Yahweh gave his Word the power to create.
This is the mature state of the belief that Jesus Christ though in a body of flesh was the direct image of God the brightness of Gods glory resembled in an undesirable flesh nature. According to scriptures anyway.
When Jesus died He gave up the spirit, and died. God did not die. Jesus gave up the Holy Spirit I think and the logos of God died, and went to sheol and God raised his Word back up from the dead on the third day according to scriptures.
I do not submit to the trinity doctrine but I also believe that the Word of God and becomes one with God again after everything has been finished and the Word of God and God becoming one make Jesus the Lord God Almighty.
it’s all up to you how you are gonna believe and see these things it’s very healthy to read the word of God and don’t believe me or anything I say I’m just a man sharing what I’ve seen in the word.
May God guide you to the truth if you desire to know this more and May the spirit lead,
Take care,
Matthew G.
“For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.”
I Corinthians 15:27-28 NKJV
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”
Hebrews 1:1-4 NKJV
This is talking about Jesus giving everything back to the Father.
