Of course

I am talking about determining if someone is saved or not.
Of course....but saved to what exactly? Honour, dishonour? the glorious city, outer darkness? Pulpiteers never talk about how many church goers are going to be rejected even as they are saved from the lake of fire.

I don't think we can live in sinless perfection
Certainly not all the little imperfections for decades, but when you make the prayer of the publican praying in the temple that cried out to God of his weaknesses like I did after 30 years in church UNSAVED, He answered my prayer and He took away all desire to commit any of the major sins unto death (my trap was adultery). That is when He made me righteous. Not just imputed righteousness as a coverup of our present and future sins as I've heard on "To Every Man An Answer" on the radio. He literally took away the sin nature and created a whole new clean nature and then on top of that, filled it with the Spirit of Christ. I actually felt a dark heaviness lift up and out of me. What a strange sensation that was! I felt so light I looked at my feet to see if they were still on the floor.

Then after that moment came decades of Jesus maturing all the fruit of the Spirit. Read 2 Peter 1:2-11. You will learn two new things. First in verse 9 you will learn that Jesus takes away our OLD SINS. Meaning the sins unto death in our past. It does NOT add our present and future sins unto death as they are against God's commandments and are willful. 1 John 1:7 last sentence only refers to unintentional sins not unto death based on immature fruit of the Spirit that Jesus matures in a process correctly named "glorification," not "sanctification." Read 1 Cor. 6:11 and see we were sanctified when we were justified, and doesn't even make the list in Romans 8:30.

The second thing is that you have been matured in all the fruit of the Spirit you can identify in verses 5-7 you will come to a point in your life where you will "never stumble," verse 10. Then on top of being righteous, you will also be holy. That is perfect. It is not based on you, but Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, not us. All that is required to grow in the Lord is abiding in Him. Read the Word. Pray. When you see something glorious, make it a habit to praise God. Like sunsets or flowers, or colorful birds, Whatever, let praise easily be on your lips. Also, don't put yourself in compromising situations. Stay away from temptation.

hey you want to endure till the end, and think that will save you. Have at it.

While your at it. What is this even look like. how many sins can you commit while your supposedly enduring to the end?

As for me. Jesus was talking about those alive in tribulation. And he was talking physical life. Not eternal life

I have eternal life. it was a gift of God. it can not be earned by how good I am, how many good works I do. or how many religious ceremonies I keep.
i notice marks liked this response . I also notice neither one of you will help
me preach JESUS to an atheist . Rather men like epi who love this all inclusive junk
preach a false gospel and call men like me a religious extremist for preaching JESUS .
YEAH so much for the false love god all inclusive satan and his message . IT SHUT DOWN the gospel that can save
and sold one that wont be saving squat and in fact calls GOD a liar .
You all can keep on keeping on , accusing men like me for not trusting in JESUS .
But it aint me sitting under an ecumeincal harlot and her all inclusive father .
And i dont think i need to say why i said father and NOT FATHER . this generation is gonna reap
what is has sown too . And its god will not be able to save them . its god DENIES the gospel of JESUS
and its god holds hands with all religoins and lies and says HEY we all serve the same GOD
HEY lets all just be one for anti christ world peace , though it wont say anti christ .
but i am the one not trusting IN JESUS . NO I DO TRUST IN JESUS
the problem is that many trust in another jesus . And that one wont be saving any of them .
