To whom is it that we belong? Do we belong to ourselves or the One who formed us and gave us a choice.

Jos 24:15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

We are here to understand the difference between good and evil. That is why God put that tree in the Garden.
In life we are given a glimpse of heaven and hell. Your perception of being in a hell hole, teaches you the opposite, what is good and pure, without the evils.
We become aware of sin in the world and in ourselves. This leads to godly sorrow and then God draws us to Himself for the solution, the Gospel, forgiveness, eternal life in Christ.
Our primary purpose in life is to be reconciled to God through Christ.
So wherever you are (this hellgole), (and things are getting worse all ove, it's temporary!
Some people have it better, some worse. But if you have it too good, you're spoiled, then you may not appreciate what you do you have. The persecuted, poor and hungry surely appreciate good when it comes along. When love, mercy, kindness, peace, and goodness come, they know the difference and are thankful.
So count your blessings. If you are saved, well then you are in the kingdom of Heaven. You are saved, so don't fret the temporal stuff.

2 Cor. 4:17 (amplified version)
For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],

The sufferings of this life cannot compare to the eternal glory that is coming.
