Sole Survivor

Is there anyone here that is a sole survivor? Generationally speaking.

Mr. Gypsy recently got the call that his younger brother had died. He is now the only one left. I find myself ill equipped to handle the emotional turmoil this has brought raining down on him. We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren left but his mother, father, brother and sister are dead. Both of his siblings were younger and he just can't seem to reconcile the heartache.

Any one have any experience with this?

Everyone in my family has syblings alive, including the 4 grandparents.

However, since we're talking about families, I recently began annoying my family with the fact that I am heir to the throne. As first born male, I am entitled to 2/3 of the inheritance, title of "his majesty, the prince", and the like. My dad is the first born, his dad the first born, his dad the first born, and so on.
