No, not at all, not according to God and God's Own Word.
With Jesus we praise the Father in heaven for revealing salvation to babes, and hiding it from the educated.
This includes the book of Hebrews, in truth, as the Heavenly Father freely and with joy reveals to babes.

There are believers who want to indoctrinate you into their harmful theology. This is their mission in life. They feel they are "led of the Spirit" to actually cause harm regarding the Faith of real born again believers.
So, how to recognize them?
How to know who is the liar, and who is the Truth.

Now i have a strong and unrelenting point of view about a certain heresy, because i have seen the damage it causes churches, Christians, and the heretics themselves. This theology is an extreme spiritual poison. Its an infection of the mind and spiritual condition. It literally can make you crazy. Especially if you are a sincere and true believer who above all things wants to please God.

The True Believers, if they are caught up in this hellish circular reasoning theology, become more and more upset and there is NO simple remedy. See, what happens if you get infected by the people who are spreading this spiritual deceit, is that the bible and the devil begin to work together to condemn you to the point where you will begin to obsess on THE idea that you are lost, and hell bound. The bible becomes a punishing enemy as all it seems to do is show you that you are going to hell. Ive seen it. Ive dealt with believers who are caught up in the devil's lie, and TAUGHT IT by other believers. Ive witnessed the mind damage and the broken spirit. These believers, who have been deeply mentally disturbed by the people who mean to do it,....other believers... And because of these poisonous "christians", they can't open a bible and get any Help. Prayer life becomes a guilt trip. They cry and shake and feel sick all the time. Their lives become so disrupted by this screaming mental idea that they have committed the unparsdonable sin, or they have willfully sinned their salvation away. And all they had to do to be destroyed was show up on a "friendly" Christian Forum and read some fool's Thread regarding "losing your salvation" This particular Thread Topic is posted constantly on every Christian Forum that will allow it. And the next thing a sincere believer thinks after reading this spiritual poision is, "what if i did this".... and then the bottom falls out of their lives as the devil begins to work their minds into worry and fear to try to literally destroy them.

There are 2 Gospels that are preached, since the Cross was raised.. One is From the New Testament, and one is from the Devil. The bible preaches that God MADE you righteous and keeps you righteous, HIMSELF, if you will believe in Christ. Philippians 1:6
This is known as being born again. This is God becoming Jesus the Man and taking His very righteousness and giving it to you in place of your sin, and unrighteousness. This is Redemption. The Blood Atonement. "The Gift of Righteousness". "The Gift of Salvation".

The Devil's gospel teaches that your works make you and keep righteous, "enduring" "Abiding", "Obedience" and commandment keeping keeps you saved, and your obedience, you see... is your Cross that you hang on, to save yourself.

God's Gospel, is : "i will save you and keep you saved. ". using the Blood of Jesus.

The devil's gospel, is anything and everything else. And Saint, everything else including the person who is teaching works for salvation...... is Galatians 1:8

I can only add that if you “ fall” for a False Gospel ( That would be anything that says “ Jesus Saves— B U T ! ) you will “ Fall from Grace”.....If you think “ that” sounds bad — and it does— it gets worse!If you go beyond merely Believing it to “ TEACHING” it——- You are “ Accursed” , damned forever by God. Read the Book Of Galatians .....it’s only six chapters.....a couple of hours of reading and proper discernment could make the difference between Heaven or Hell. God's Gospel is Pure Grace Plus NOTHING ( 1Cor15:1-4 ). Trifle with it and you will regret it .

Or, do you mean prophetic, in the sense of prophecy being a speaking forth of the word of God; in which case all of the Psalms in the Bible would be prophetic?

One doesnt need to quote the bible to save souls, quoting the bible cannot save anyone, teh apostles never had one they did ok, and for years the world was without one God still saved people, who do you think God is???

It seems to me that ANYONE who discounts Scripture is FIRST OF ALL, presumed to be ignorant, -- as we all were and still are to some extent. Secondly, ANYONE who has been INFORMED as to what Scripture demands, and still defies the Written Word -- is a heretic.

Now it's human nature to deny, rationalize, and justify why Scripture doesn't mean what is says, -- so then the church is to distance itself from such people. And unfortunately it seems that some 70 - 80% of Forum participants are in this category, with only a few of these "excused" because of diminished mental capacity either by I.Q., illness, or by age.

And it's not to specifically accuse the person, but rather their doctrine -- although they are intertwined.Or so it would seem to me!

Everyone, theologically speaking, is a product of their Teacher.
if their Teacher is Paul, then they will teach what God gave Paul.
If their teacher is a cult, or a heretic, then what they speak is what their teachers have misled them to believe.
When a person is not a disciple of Paul's epistles, the devil is highly satisfied, as they will always be found doing his "works".
See, when the Devil has been able to ruin a person's faith, they will believe that God's blood does not keep them saved.
They will always think they can lose their salvation by either not doing something or by doing something.
The Devil's gospel that they teach and believer is..."my doing something keeps my salvation".......whereas God's Gospel is..>"Jesus saved you and KEEPS YOU SAVED".

Heretics live in Matthew, James, and Hebrews, mostly.
Hebrews will destroy your faith, unless you are helped to understand this epistle by an experience teacher.
On this very forum, you have many who read. "if we sin willfully", and think this means that if you plan to sin, knowingly, you just damned yourself if you did it.
This misunderstanding and many others related to this one Epistle happened to them because they jumped into HEBREWS and read a lot of verses that are not speaking to believers and they were never taught this, and so they took those misunderstood verses to HEART, and those verses ruined their faith in Christ.
A believer has to get their faith and heart grounded in Grace, right in the beginning of your Christianity.
If you don't then you will end up becoming a victim of spiritual deception.

These people who are the victims of Hebrews, and James, and Matthew, will DIE believing they can lose their salvation.
This means they spent their entire Christian lives under the bondage of...."i have to be careful, i have to do this and not do that, or i don't keep myself saved".
That is the worst type of failed Christianity, because it produces a Grace rejecting Cross denying SELF SAVOR who will spend their time trying to cause sincere believers to come under the same Faith ruining bondage that they are under.

Whoever loves sin, and refuses to be corrected, can there be hope for them according to Scripture ?
Why would it matter whether or not someone can lose their salvation, if on judgment day they are told to go away ? All their life they thought they were saved, right up to the day they die, then they find out they were wrong .....

We'll for a lot of reasons...
First, to believe this means you are "fallen from Grace".
This means you have left the right understanding of The Cross.
That kinda matters to God. Hear me?
See, when you do this, you end up in bondage to self effort that has replaced God's Grace.
This causes you to live a Christian life that is not FREE. It also causes you to not be able to stop sinning and repenting.
Another issue, and more critical, is, once you are owned by the Devil's theology of "saving myself= by works, and by not doing what i believe will cause me to lose it".... the devil will inspire this person to fight God's Grace on a Forum and in life. This is harmful to sincere and weak Christians who might become infected with the heresy, but worst of all, a baby Christian can fall prey to these dark lights and lose faith in Christ.

oops... The so-called answer to this question is not answered properly in context.
Someone taught that "you cannot lose your salvation" to many people, and on judgment day they find out they aren't even saved at all to start with. (multitudes of people, as written).
