But, by their fruit ye shall know them. But asking that person "are you following the Truth or counterfit" is not a productive question.
Instead, we should ask God "what is your Truth and how may I best follow it?"

I would not bring a new convert into a modern church setting...because of fear that they would become worse than they were before. No, it's the church that needs to hear the gospel and the power over sin. Such is the state of affairs.
And if you pay attention to his declarations you understand why I call him Gnostic
I'm aware of that mindset "God approves of and endorses everything I do and think"
I used to be like that when I was younger.
Today's physicians are mostly quacks, and people love it so.
I think that many begin by trying to make a difference....but the way a child would interfere with open heart surgery. As they say...the road to hell is paved with good intentions. What is unknown of many of today's ministers is often greater than what they think they are teaching.
Yes, but we may not see all the fruits a person has. But, by their fruit ye shall know them.
Where do you fit yourself into this scheme.
As someone who waits on the Lord and has no confidence in the flesh or the modern teachings that please the flesh.
The truth is recorded in the Scripture of truth. And, if we abide in the truth, then Jesus' fruit will be clear for all to see in our lives. If any other fruit has grown, then we know Jesus is not the root of that tree because a good tree does not bear bad fruit.Yes, but we may not see all the fruits a person has.
And never downplay the importance of looking upward and conversing with God about His Truth.
I think you wand I are talking about two different subjects here. My original point was that all Truth should be preached in love and charity, else we become tinkling cymbals. This came up because easy majority of street preachers, well frankly most street preachers spend majority their time standing on soapboxes and tinkling, more often than not driving folks away from Christ. The truth is recorded in the Scripture of truth. And, if we abide in the truth, then Jesus' fruit will be clear for all to see in our lives. If any other fruit has grown, then we know Jesus is not the root of that tree because a good tree does not bear bad fruit.
Have you noticed that there are many people who use the modern versions that do not include the rest of Romans 8:1, the 'condition,' and believe that all they need to do is believe in Jesus, and they can sin up a storm and still be saved?
I wonder how many people who wake up in the resurrection of the damned with this as the last sermon they ever heard will plead with God for mercy...only to be shown how they laughed and mocked at God's pleading for them to turn to Him through this street sermon. In this video, a street preacher declares what is written: whoever continues in sin will die.

I wonder how many false prophets tomorrow will stand in pulpits and preach "smooth sayings" to lost people in church who think they'll be leading the parade when the saints go marching in - the smoothest saying of all being, "You can cling to both your sin and the promise of eternal life too."I wonder how many people he chased from God that day.
"Sleep" is a euphemism for "death", such as in Daniel 12:2. The righteous awake in the "resurrection of the just" and the wicked the "resurrection of the damned" a thousand years later.Curious, what do you mean wake up?

He's preaching in "Jackson Square", just one block away from perhaps the most famous Catholic church in the South, the "St. Louis Cathedral". The Catholic church presence in New Orleans is such a joke, not only refusing to condemn sin, but promotes, condones and covers it up from sight. NOLA is a cesspool of debauchery which got the name "The Big Easy" over a hundred years ago when it became well known to the rest of the nation that if you wanna indulge the most debased passions of the soul, New Orleans is the place to do it because the authorities there, both civil and Catholic, are all too willing to turn a blind eye as long as you've got the money to spend down there. In this video, a street preacher declares what is written: whoever continues in sin will die.
Yes. Since the concept of "consciousness in death" is foreign to the Bible, the very next thought a person who dies will have happens at the either the sound of Jesus calling them forth from the grave to their Second Life at His Second Coming or the sound of His voice calling them up after the thousand years to their Second Life, where they will face judgement and then the Second Death, from which there will be no resurrection. So you're talking about physical death.
