Still barbarians

That's not what God teaches in His Word. The carnally minded still live after the flesh

Feel free to continue identifying with your old ungodly life of rebellion against the Lord.

I'll continue identifying as being a new creature IN Christ where old things are passed away and all things are new and of God.

You're ignoring Paul

Sadly that would be you ignoring what the Lord Jesus taught through the Apostle Paul:

2 Corinthians 5:17-20
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

You can go around telling everyone about the joys of being a barbarian if you'd like, but I'm going to obey the leading of the Lord and share the joy of getting born again and abiding IN Christ where we are made new.

You know, teaching the new birth rather then teaching according to the flesh as some among us apparently favor doing.

You should really get on board with this getting born again thing:

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

As you learned the name was given to me, because I gave myself to the Lord. You might not understand that kind of thing, but it's true.
I'll continue identifying as being a new creature IN Christ
There are men who identify as women, too. But truth is harder than wishes. Maybe you should put your pride aside and accept Him without reservations.

Jesus told His people that the world would hate us. But you claim to be a Christian.

You can change, you know. As long as you deny Paul's teaching, you're stuck.

When you try to push other Christians away from God, you're just pushing yourself away from Him.

I'm not the one still identifying with my old life refusing to accept, understand, and walk in the new birth claiming those that are are prideful. But I get it, anybody that does not agree with you is "prideful" and is otherwise in error

Jesus told His people that the world would hate us. But you claim to be a Christian.

You';re the one going around telling everyone about the joys of being a barbarian not me.

Sadly some are pushing away from the Lord all on their own by refusing to accept, understand, and walk in the new birth

Depends. We don't know what your old life is. It's your pride that seems to be holding you back here.

I did? (Barbarian checks) Nope. You just made that up. You know a Christian shouldn't be doing that kind of thing.

Maybe. But I think it's just your pride that won't let you follow the path He laid out for us. I think you mean well. But your behavior is not a very good imitation of Christ right now.

We don't know what your old life is

Just like yours . . . sin, what else could it have been?

It's your pride that seems to be holding you back here

No pride does not cause one to turn away from their old life in repentance to get born again and abide in Christ walking with the Lord which is what I have been doing for several decades now.

That was a weak and feeble attempt at gaslighting. Hope you weren't paying for those gaslighting lessons.

But I think it's just your pride that won't let you follow the path He laid out for us

Another feeble and hilarious attempt at gaslighting.

You should be a comedian, but don't expect any success at it.

I see the denial, but your behavior is more persuasive. You've got a lot of unresolved anger there. That's not the sort of thing I normally see in a brother in Christ. Not that you couldn't be a Christian and act like that; a lot of recent converts don't get it; Even Paul sometimes let his anger get the best of him.

We all have things we need to work on as Christians.

1 Corinthians 14:11
Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

barbaros -- pronounced: bar'-bar-os
a foreigner (i.e. non-Greek): KJV -- barbarian(-rous).

You are a foreigner (barbarian) on the outside looking in.
You should REPENT and put off the old man, and put on the New Man and live as a Christian

What makes us children of God is IF we answer the Father's call to abide in Christ having turned away from our old life of sin and walk with Him in newness of life

Ephesians 4:22-24
put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Romans 13:14
put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Colossians 3:10
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him:

2 Corinthians 6:17
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

You are falling short thru your continual insistance on identifying with the old man refusing to turn away from your old life to abide in Christ and living in agreement with Him as a New Creature in Christ.

This ends badly bud, very badly.

Those that speak a language other than the Koine Greek.

Galatians 3:28 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

Why not just accept it His way?

You should REPENT and put off the old man, and put on the New Man and live as a Christian
God doesn't care, so long as you follow Him. Doesn't care if you're a man or a woman, a Greek or a barbarian. You don't have to stop being a man or stop being a Jew or stop being a barbarian. It no longer makes any difference. Set your pride aside and just accept it His way.

You are falling short through your continual insistence on making new rules for Christians. God doesn't care what you are, so long as you abide in Christ and live in agreement with Him as a New Creature in Christ. The Pharisees made up all sorts of rules they followed to make themselves holy enough. It was all in vain, because many of them never followed the two greatest commandments.

This ends badly bud, very badly.
It could. But only if your new rules pull you away from what He wants of you. If a Samaritan could follow man-made rules and still be saved because he loved God and his fellow man, surely some Pharisees were saved as well. I sincerely hope it works out for you. Even if you have some important things wrong.

You are yet carnal.

God doesn't care, so long as you follow Him.

And those still walking after the old man are still carnal and are not walking with the Lord.

But only if your new rules pull you away from what He wants of you.

You are still walking after the old rules of being carnal walking after the flesh.

The Lord has brought forth that which is new and you have yet to turn away from the old and embrace the new which enables one to abide IN Christ.

You should stop identifying with and walking the old man of sin and start identifying with and walking in the new man which is a new creature IN Christ Jesus

He says different. And He gets to decide. The more you try to push people away from Him, the more you remove yourself from Him. God doesn't care, so long as you follow Him.
And those still walking after the old man are still carnal and are not walking with the Lord.
The Pharisees came up with all sorts of stuff like that. But they had no more hold on God than you or I do. It's O.K. to make new rules, but only if your new rules don't pull you away from what He wants of you.

The Lord has brought forth that which is new and you have yet to turn away from the old and embrace the new which enables one to abide IN Christ.
So why not just do that, and forget all the Phariseeism? Love God, love your fellow man, and accept Him as Savior and Lord. That's all you have to do.

Worth a try?

This is from God's Word and the pharisees and sadducees rejected!

Ephesians 4:24
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Colossians 3:5-9
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

You have to understand that being a Christian isn't about being locked into rules. It's accepting Him as your Father, and letting yourself be free in Him.

Romans 8:15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

"Abba" in Aramaic, "Daddy."

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 30As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So simple, and yet so hard to do. You can be free in Christ. Only possible with God's grace.

The way of the transgressor is hard (Proverbs 13:15)

See if you quit being a transgressor and start walking after the Spirit it won't be hard.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

You're still fighting it. Anger won't do it for you. Copying pictures from the net won't do it for you. None of your new rules can do it for you, just as all those new rules couldn't do it for the Pharisees. Just let the Holy Spirit in. And then you will have your peace. With God's grace, you can do it yourself. "Abba" is all it takes.

He just doesn't want there to be a God. But pushed to the wall, he admits that he can't really say.

Atheism is a faith-based ideology.

Dawkins is just another nobody in this world on his way to hell for choosing to reject Jesus as Lord and Savior

People like this are only important to those walking in darkness.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God does not walk in darkness. And if God is unwilling to see Dawkins lost, then so am I.
