Non-biblical notions? You are so funny!
The description fire is there and the description of pain is there, there is even a parable about it where the person is definitely aware of where he is at and want others warned about.
Try it....describe how fire is used in the NT.
Give it a go!

Oh you got some serious problems.....already gave you those scriptures.....post 358
You dont understand grail.
If you are unable to understand how fire is used in the Scripture.
Your resistance is telling you know?
You readily accepted the figure of light but resisting the figure of fire?
Why so?

Jesus: Matthew 25
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Revelation 20
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Satan's children: There is no everlasting fire!

I asked you what your point was....not your sources.
I am going to assume LOL that you do not believe what I say about there being over 30,000 thousand Protestant denomination.

The research has already been done on this by universities and to do it right it is very time consuming. You get a list of all the Protestant denominations in the world. Then you have to go through the history of each denomination to see if there are duplicates with different names, some are different names but have the same beliefs just regional. Then you see in their history if they fractured from another denomination and why. Some are new denominations. You can get short lists and start with them. But documenting the history of each of them will take a lot of time.

Here is a short list
Alphabetical List of Denominations | Seminary Guide | Logos Bible Software

Here is a list that is a little longer
List of Christian denominations by number of members Facts for Kids

Here is another long list
List of Christian denominations by number of members - Wikipedia

Another list of Protestant denominations
Condensed List of 40,000+ Protestant Denominations | Christian (Genesis) Amino

The counts very but the overall point is that there are a lot. You maybe able to prove that there are not 30,000 distinct denomination, LOL but by the time you do that you have proven my point.....there are a lot.
In short, you are using sites based on social studies, not theological.
Is every rite within Catholic Church considered to be a seperate denomination?

Boils down to how churces including the Catholic Church is counted with in Social Stuudies and how churches are counted with in Theology studies.

There are a few points
Not using social studies at all.
Social studies is an academic discipline....social / cultural....not religious....they will categorize regional religious beliefs as superstitions and the indigenous people that believe in them.
The definition of denomination maybe an option, but the shell game of categorical meanings is definitely fuzzy logic.
What counts as a denomination.....?
Is it a unique name?
Is it unique beliefs?
Is it the number of buildings?
The size of the congregations?
Official registration with the government?

My definition of denomination is a congregation that have their own unique beliefs and customs and have a statement of faith that defines what they believe in. Not only what they believe but also how they conduct their services. For example two denominations that have the same beliefs....but one might not allow music.

And the Catholics are and always have been about one belief.....to be Catholic the church it has to be under the authority of the Pope.

Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

#358 above

Lets take the first of your verses.

What are the figures being used?

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

I can identify 6 figures of speech in this verse.

Try listing them from 1-6
Try providing an understanding of the metaphor Christ is using to demonstrate the judgement? Why does it fit with the reality of total destruction of the wicked?

If we adopted your understanding where does the metaphor fall over?

Wow now in strong denial.
Are you seriously saying this verse is literal?

Hey I found a figurative verse
2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9 In flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Hey I found another figurative scripture...
Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. Act 2:22

Has Kingdom Hall been invaded by the Dem party? They do the same things, accuse others of what they themselves do!
