Today we will finish up on chapter 13, identifying its many heads.

Revelation 13:6 "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven”.
Here again, the beast is exercising one of it’s heads, the Educational/mystical head, the teaching of traditions of men, and there are many around the world, and there are hundreds if not millions of bible translation on the market today. One of these teaching we like to zero in on these mystical teaching, "BY MEN". (please understand, I'm not aganist any one's religion, that's your choice), but here, the ancient Jewish tradition of mystical interpretation of the Bible, as in the Kabbalah, and as said there are many more. Isaiah 65:6 "Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, (STOP, bosom here meaning "inclose",or seceret Teaching), verse 7 "Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom”. in plain English, no need for any outside mystical interpretation, or "DEEP" understanding of God holy Word. here is the rod, or the line to measure the Word of God. The bible interprets itself The Hebrew word for measure is H4058 מָדַד madad (maw-dad') v.
1. (by implication) to measure (as if by stretching a line).
2. (figuratively) to be extended.

KJV: measure, mete, stretch self.

Definition #1, by stretching a line? What is a LINE? Definitely not vain philosophy, nor the mystical tradition of men and their teaching. Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ”. and here is the TRUE LINE,
Isaiah 28:9 "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. Verse 10 "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: (precepts are commandment), Isaiah 28:11 "For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Verse 12 "To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Verse 13 "But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; (BINGO, there is that LINE, the word of God), here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Verse 14 "Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Verse 15 "Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: verse 16 "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste verse 17 "Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

No matter how twisted the doctrine come, or the many of translation trying to pervert the TRUTH, the WORD of God, it still stand TRUE. This beast “Alter” or try to change the truth, Jeremiah 8:8 "How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain”. by trying to perverting the truth, they kill, as our Brother James said in his book, James 4:1 &2. a good example of them perverting the truth, to KILL, Scripture, Luke 23:2 "And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King”. the term they used to KILL the Christ is, “ perverting”, it means “alter”. PERVET: alter (something) from its original course, meaning, or state to a distortion or corruption of what was first intended. There is that word “Alter” or “Diverse” that Daniel used to describe his beast that he saw. and John’s, beast with seven heads. They try to alter or change the word of God.
So the beast is exercising a mystical or a PERVETED view of the bible, meaning a corruption of the true Image.

Revelation 13:7 "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations”.
Another exercising authority of this beast being used, the Governmental/Political head.
The remnant of the woman's seed, (the Church), is the war made with. NOT seed(s) as in many, no, but seed as in one, the church, the saints of God, who are in him. see Revelation 12:17. so the war is really against God.
This war is spiritual in nature, with Political ramifications, (as in separation of Church and State?), as also, in what we call today ethics cleansing during the church age. How do we know this. A. the war is with the saints of God, meaning those in his church. B. and if to overcome them, they would, and have to be killed. (that's the only way to overcome them). C. and if killed then the second coming of of Christ has not yet happen, because immortality has not yet been given to the Saints who was killed, because they was “OVERCOMED” or was be killed. So this warfare has been going on in this present church age. as the scriptures said, Revelation 6:9 "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: (BINGO), verse 10 "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? verse 11 "And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled, (BINGO AGAIN).

Power over, clearly identify the type of exercising authority here, G1849 ἐξουσία exousia (e-xou-siy'-a) n. here the beast is exercising one of it’s heads, 2. Governmental/Political rule. .

Revelation 13:8 "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”.
The whole “unbelieving” world goes after this beast, except the most high people, the elect, those who was predestine from the foundation of the world, who is not deceived by the beast, and lay down their lives for the word of God, hence the reason for the coming of the second beast. Instead of killing out right, persuading them into death, from false pretense. 2 Peter 2:19 "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage”.

Revelation 13:9 "If any man have an ear, let him hear”.
Let one hear, or “UNDERSTAND”. if any man lack wisdom let him ask God who gives it to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him, but let him ask in FAITH.

Revelation 13:10 "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints”.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 "Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:15 "See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice evermore.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 "Quench not the Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:20 "Despise not prophesyings.
1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Here is the patience of the saints: they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of the Lord Jesus the Christ, (see Revelation 14:12)

PART II OF CHAPTER 13.
Revelation 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon”.
Notice this beast is “coming up out of” the earth, not rising from the earth, but coming out of the earth. The Science/Technology head of the beast. this is an inanimate object that appears to live, or is a functioning object. my opinion, a computer system, the mainframe. the reason why I say this is because it has two horns. and horns represent power. (lambs don’t have horns), so again, it’s an inanimate object. Spake as a dragon, AI or ”artificial language”, or, artificial intelligence. the term artificial means a copy of something natural, (are we seeing where this is going). when the first computers, the mainframe came out, it was for large entities, like Governments, which require greater computing power. and businesses, mini computers, with lesser computing power. and there also came the private, or Micro Computer, with even lesser computer power for the home. well that's three horns or powers, Micro, Mini, and mainframe. but how did it become two horn or power?. here's the revelation, technology boosted the private, or Micro Computer, with less computer power for the home, to greater power and eliminated the mini computers, for now the home user, (Private), the Micro computer now have the same equivalent power as most businesses, many in the "Palm" of their hand. understand it now? it's power in the palm of the hand? so now there are literally two power/horns of computers. the Micro, and the mainframe. hence the reason why one cannot buy or sell. for if the computer is down one cannot make a transaction. nor buy or sell. and the mark is in the palm of one's "Hand", and controlled by the computer in our heads, the brain.

Revelation 13:12 "And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed”.
Everyone on this planet is affected in some way by the computer, either directly, or indirectly. Scripture, Daniel 12:4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”. here, the area to zero in on is, “finance”, especially in “Banking”. supportive scripture, Ecclesiastes 10:19 "A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things”. for the LOVE of MONEY is the ROOT of all Evil. Not the money itself but the Love for it is the root of all evil.

Revelation 13:13 "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men”,
The computer, with AI, can do so many thing that makes the world go after it. heard this expression? I" got to have the latest I pad"….. or, "I got to have that 52 inch TV screen", or, "that new cell phone, which is the latest". Many go hungry, or neglect their own children just the have the latest gadget. are we seeing where the Bible is so true, "The whole world is gone after the beast".

Revelation 13:14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live”.
The advancement in computer technology today can bring back even the image of the DEAD. And the computer do many miracles for the whole world to see. New innovations are coming out everyday. and people today, even some, not all, saint sit in wonder and amazement of the thing the computer can do.

Revelation 13:15 "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed”.
This is a clear description of holographic imagery, and robotics. Star wars and star trek is closer to reality than we think. signs and wonders and other miracles performed by technology, can have a woman having a baby without the normal use of a male, again artificial insemination. see that word again, "artificial", artificial, artificial. see where the world is headed .... artificial. and robotics are so fast on the rise until it is scary.

This is what is put out in the piblic to know for now. usually the general public is ten to twenty years behind in knowledge.

Revelation 13:16 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads”.
The Right hand is signifying the use of the will. This beast enforces its will over us, not in brute force, but as a harmless “Lamb”. other words, to function and live in today’s world one must succumb to the rules and conditions “dictated” by the technology of the day we live in. So Daniel was correct, “KNOWLEDGE INCREASE”.

Revelation 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”.
Computers just about control everything these days and they will increase even the more. One cannot buy or sell without the computer. All banking transactions are computerized. And now computers and increasing in all areas of our lives. robotics, rise as a lamb...... "Harmless" at first.

Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
John said, "Here is wisdom”. and wisdom only comes from God, James 1:5-8. and If I’m right, and the beast that comes out of the earth is the COMPUTER, (made of silicone), an inanimate object then we can add up the number of this beast.

the LABLE "COMPUTER", each letter associated with the alphabet and a corresponding number multiplied by man, (his number, which is 6), who created this beast from the earth or ground can be calculated.

Here is wisdom.

Opening note: Chapter 14 answers chapter 13, “God’s promise of protection from the beast in the evil day”. only those who follow him in his footsteps overcomes the Beast and the false prophet. As chapter 13 points out, the beast is coming after God saints by means of false spirituality, Governmental laws and policies, Through science and technology, especially in the field of medicine, (health care). and the beast is coming after the saints of God in finances, especially Banking and credit, just to name a few. But the list goes on, and on. So be ye prepared and able to “STAND” in this last and evil day with God, and we will see how we overcome.

chapter 14 is the “overcoming chapter”.​

Revelation 14:1 "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads”.
The term “Look” Signify to KNOW or to UNDERSTAND, and the term “STANDING” Signify “VICTORY”, because they have gotten the victory “IN” him, Christ Jesus. The Mount here is not an actual mountain, but it Signify the church. and as before in chapter 7, these 144,000 is just the firstfruit of many to come. a small number in comparison of such as should be of the coming harvest. “having his Father's name written in their foreheads” this is their open profession of being the children and servants of God. 1 Timothy 6:12 "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses”. Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised”.

Now the revelation in detail. by standing with the Lamb, it shows their victory in him over the beast of chapter 13. For as he has overcome the world, so likewise those who follow him overcome the world. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: (STOP, that right there eliminates any rapture of the church), but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. let see how they did it?, Ephesians 6:10 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might verse 11 "Put on the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”. (HOLD IT, did not the 144,000 “followed” the Lamb? Yes, if they put on the amour of God, question, “do God have amour?”, Let’s see, Isaiah 59:17 "For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke”, THAT”S GOD. Without his, (GOD), righteousness/breastplate, and without his, (GOD), salvation/helmet we cannot stand. .….. Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (NOTICE THE TERM “DAY”, or “EVIL DAY”. this is not a 24hr. Day period, but an age period). Verse 14 "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; verse 15 "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; verse 16 "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Verse 17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: verse 18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”. KEEP THIS IMAGERY IN YOUR MIND BECAUSE WE’LL SEE IT LATER ON.

This is why, and this explain the “STANDING” on mount Zion, “STANDING” Signify “VICTORY” because the Holy Ghost, God himself, was in them as well as in us today. This is the guarantee the promise of victory. When we put on christ you’re putting on the whole armour of God, his helmet, his breastplate, his shoes, his sword, his shield, so we can “stand” with him in VICTORY.

Now, “the Name of the Father in their heads”, two verse needed, Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: verse 20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”. and that’s only one NAME, and not NAME(S). in English “JESUS”, Hebrew, “YESHUA”. Supportive scripture, Zechariah 14:9 "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one”. again Matthews 28:19. by being “SEALED”, it also shows ownership. Because in Ancient times the authenticating agent name usually appear on the seal. So the authenticating agent name is synonymous with the seal, or an inscriptions to signify who the authenticating agent is. In this case it the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS. Scripture, Revelation 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name". my God is him, possession shows OWNERSHIP, my God is me. when Jesus say "MY" Father he's saying MY "Spirit". and when he says "MY" Son, he's saying MY BODY.

Another Revelation: in Matthews 28 and 20, did one notice something there. Listen, “verse 20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” did one notice the term “ALWAY”, and not ALWAY(S), with the “s” at the end. Alway signify never to Leave you. Someone may say I’ll be with you always, meaning only in time of need, but here it means “Daily, all (manner of, means), not just when one is in need but 24/7, WHY? Because he will be in us. "I will dwell in them".

Conclusion on verse 1. now we know why the 144,000 “follow” the Lamb. Following Christ is a christian indeed, an “OVERCOMER”. as the Holy Ghost spoke through the apostle Paul, “be ye followers of me as I am follower of the Lord Jesus”. christian for sure. and we KNOW why they are "STANDING", "Victory".

Revelation 14:2 "And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps”,
This "Voice from heaven sounds like many waters?", this is the Lord Jesus in his GLORIFIED STATE, supportive scripture, Revelation 1:12 "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; verse 13 "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. Verse 14 "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; verse 15 "And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters”. NOW A REVELATION, as before, this same descriptiveness of the Lord Jesus is found in Daniel 7:9 "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. Verse 10 "A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened”. ok, who is this a description of? That’s right the “Ancient of days” whom many calls the FATHER”… who is JESUS in his none-diversified state. (BINGO, God who is ONE is a diversity of himself in flesh). this is the MIGHY ONE who can and is only the ONE who can deliever us from the evil one. Jesus the Christ Glorified is the ALMIGHTY GOD. singing and instruments singify "Victory". the praises of God.

Revelation 14:3 "And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth”.
Yeshua save, Psalms 118:14 "The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. Let’s put it in simple English “JESUS SAVES”. for “salvation” is the LORD. Psalms 7:17 "I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high”. an old song just comes to mind entitle, “Jesus saves, Jesus save”. we praise his Holy Name.

Singing is a form of worship, meaning giving the highest praise with thy “LIPS”. Psalms 148:1 "Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Verse 2 "Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Verse 3 "Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Verse 4 "Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Verse 5 "Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. The Hebrew word for “praise here is, H1984 הָלַל halal (haw-lal') v.
1. (originally) to be openly clear, lacking subtlety (originally of sound).
2. (typically) to be radiantly clear and obvious (usually of bold brilliant color).
3. (by implication) to clearly shine, to be splendid (as radiant).
4. (of acclamation) to splendidly praise.
5. (hence) to splendidly boast (i.e. to make a clear show).
KJV: (make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool(- ish, -ly), glory, give (light), be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, (sing, be worthy of) praise, rage, renowned, shine.

See that word “shine” as the KJV can translate as, we should let the LIGHT, (the Light of the world, Jesus ), shine in us. For as the 144,000 follow wherever the Lamb go we should let the Light of God shine in dark places. As John came as a light but was not the TRUE LIGHT, but a witness to the light, Luke 1:76 "And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; verse 77 "To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, verse 78 "Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, verse 79 "To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace”. we "PRAISE" God for the victory he has given us. this chapter 14 begins to sound like the praises in Psalms

Revelation 14:4 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb”.
THERE THEIR IDENITY IS AGAIN AS WE LEARNED FROM CHAPTER 7. the first fruit in the church. And they followed the Lamb faithfully. For according to the book of Acts many was in obedience to the, “Faith”, as is now, but there are many who still don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah. These was just the first to come to christ but there are many more to come. as said, we examine this first fruit in chapter 7,

Revelation 14:5 "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God”.
Others words they did not lie, they told the truth, without deceit, or vain babbling. And God almighty is their witness. Since the devil has no authority in heaven there is no accuser of the bothering. and since God is in us by his Spirit we speak with no guile in our mouth. supportive scripture, 1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil. verse 23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". not even the "apperance" of evil. places that we use to go, we go no more, thing we use to do we don't do anymore. not even the apperance, now that's saying something. when GOD is dewlling in you/us, one cannot go wrong. scripture, 1 John 5:18 "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not".

Revelation 14:6 "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people”,
An angel fly, not flying, and the word used is “ANOTHER” which is the Greek word, G243 ἄλλος allos (al'-los) adj. Allos means the SAME messenger. “Fly” this is a figure of speech that describes the actions of how the Gospel originated and is coming to the earth from heaven, meaning IN PERSON. And when our Lord left and went back to heaven, he came came as the “COMFORTER” who, let our brother Peter tell us. 1 Peter 1:11 "Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Verse 12 "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; (BINGO, there is that messenger sent down or was in the mist of heaven desending to earth with the Gospel). which things the angels desire to look into”. again, angels in heaven don’t preach the gospel. For it was an angel who told our brother Cornelius to send for Peter. The key to this passage is the term “ANOTHER”, watch and LEARN, John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever”. here we have the same term “ANOTHER”, for the COMFORTER to COME. Question, “who was the COMFORTER Before? The SAME ONE “JESUS” in the flesh, scripture, Luke 2:25 "And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him”.
What do the term “consolation” here means? G3874 παράκλησις paraklesis (pa-ra'-klee-sis) n.
1. an imploration, entreaty (urgent request (for mercy or help)).
2. an exhortation (urgent counsel, encouragement, or caution).

“consolation” here in Luke is “Comfort”, one who gives comfort is called a “COMFORTER”, or as definition #1. states, an urgent request for help. One who gives help is a “HELPER”. so the First “Comforter” is the Lord JESUS in flesh. And now he returns in Spirit as “Comforter”, and Helper. This is how the SAINTS “OVERCOMES”, because of the urgent request for help. See, the term “ANOTHER” explian it’s all. Listen, John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; verse 17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. Verse 18 "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you”. (BINGO) this is how we the saints of God OVERCOME the evil day, by putting on his breastplate of righteousness, his helmet of salvation, PUTTING ONCHRIST, once again the scriptures Isaiah 59:17 "For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke”. this is the GOOD NEWS for chapter 13 which is the antidote to “OVERCOMING” the beast and his deception. One must have on Christ in order to stand against the wiles of the devil. chapter 14 is the message get on board, becase a flood is coming, put on the ask of safety. put on GOD.

Conclusion to the verse: this is why chapter 14 is written to show us how to “OVERCOME”.

Now a Revelation, how do I know that the Lord Jesus is the “ANOTHER” COMFORTER?”
The term “COMFORTER” is G3875 παράκλητος parakletos (pa-ra'-klee-tos) n.

We will finish up chapter 14 today in III parts. Again chapter 14 is the GOOD NEWS for Christians.
Revelation 14:7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters”.
The word “fear” G5399 φοβέω phobeo (fo-ɓe'-ō) v. a verb means to revere or reverence God, why? Psalms 111:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever”. Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”. Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Verse 11 "For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased”. (STOP, read that verse again, and again). People God is showing and telling us how to “OVERCOME”. fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell. Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”.
Why do we need to have KNOWLEDGE? Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”. WHEN ONE KNOW BETTER ONE DO OR ACT BETTER.

Revelation 14:8 "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication”.
Here, the phrase, “Babylon is fallen”, is spiritual in nature, it’s not referring to a literal city falling, but to a city, meaning its people, in their religious system, or practices, and or it’s corrupt political system. all coming from the evil character, or characteristics of the actual historic city of Babylon. This is an angel here, for he is carrying an announcement, not the gospel. that Great City? The city that killed the prophets, and our Lord. for christ overthrew and spoiled their evil and corrupt worship service, and ways. Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; verse 15 "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”. so spiritually this city of Babylon is fallen. and let's see this fall clearly.

As our brother Scott said in a past forum post, “he made their place desolate”, indeed he did. He brought an end to their sacrificial worship. the words are repeated to show the certainty of it. God put an end to those vain sacrifices and vain worship services. God, through our brother Amos said it best, Amos 5:21 "I hate, I despise your feast days, (those are some strong words), and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Verse 22 "Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. Verse 23 "Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. Verse 24 "But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Verse 25 "Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? Verse 26 "But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Verse 27 "Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts".
Lets put this in modern language, false Idol worship, in people, the rich and the famous, and in statues and in the image of man and beasts, read Romans chapter 1 and start at verse 18 and read unto the end.
Isaiah 21:9 "And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground”. spiritual wickedness in high places. This was the same warning to the 7 churches to be on guard against in chapter 2 & 3. and spiritual wickedness comes in many ways and forms of deceptions. and if it get roots in the leadership, one have a problem on their hands.

“The GREAT CITY?”, Revelation 11:8 "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified”. spiritually is the identification of this Great City, for our Lord was not crucified in the “actual”, Great city of Babylon in what we call today Iraq, no, it's that Great city, “spiritually”, called Sodom and Egypt, (because of both sins), where our Lord was crucified at, Jerusalem. Isaiah 1:9 "Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Verse 10 "Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah”. And the term “Rahab" for Egypt, (Not the woman Innkeeper). Psalms 87:3 "Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. Verse 44a "I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me”. (got both right together), so clearly this city is Jerusalem, and of a note, Jerusalem sits on seven hills. Just google it “Jerusalem sits on seven hills”.

Revelation 14:9 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand”.
again, the technological head of the beast. Verse 22 "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened”. that mindful od being scary, it says, "no flesh"................ no flesh, not soul, so Matthew 10:28 is on target, "And fear not them which kill the body, (FLESH), but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell".

Revelation 14:10 "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb”.
This scripture is straight forward and need no teaching here to understand. Just read the verse before. A just punishment for Them that sin the same sin that as such have drank of the wine of the wrath of fornication. Be ye worldly, or christian.

Revelation 14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name”.
There is no rest for the weary, they are never satisfied. we as saint are not to run after the world. as the apostle Peter wrote, 2 Peter 2:14 "Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children”. these are those who have one foot in the church and the other in the world. as the parable of the sower states, weed out the thorns and the briers that choke out the one with no roots. so be on guard. (these are those who follow the church, but is not apart of the church).
Those who worship the beast, have the cares of this world. For to be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God. James 4:1 "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Verse 2 "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Verse 3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Verse 4 "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”.

We are to sharpen up our prayer life. and our Faith to stand with God. This is text book bible. God always let his people know, or warn them before it happens.

Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus”.
STOP, AND LISTEN, THIS IS THE “KEY” VERSE IN CHAPTER 14 AND THE REVELATION ITSELF. What do we mean? This is the final view of the destruction of the wicked. God is about to give us all a view of what will happen to the two types of people that is going to be destroyed from this earth, A. those in the world, and B. those in the Churches. Hear what follows are very IMPORTANT.

Revelation 14:13 "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them”.
Blessed? yes, here’s another beatitude, this one is for the dead in Christ, and also for the Living. for the dead know nothing, for they are no longer in the world. For they are not hurt by anything. Hence the reason to be in Christ Jesus. and here is the same beatitude for the living, Mark 8:35 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it”. verse 37 "Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Verse 38 "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels".

Revelation 14:14 "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle”.
Contrary to what many believe and what is taught in seminary schools, (and I have nothing against these schools), this is not the actual harvest, NO, but the preview of who will be in the FIRST harvest of the wicked. Listen closely,
the son of man sits on "a" cloud, not coming with many clouds. Luke 21:27 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory". keep this imagery in mind.

Revelation 14:15 "And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe”.
The word “ripe” here is a telling word, it’s not the same Greek word for ripe found in verse 18 below. listen

1. to make dry.
2. (bodily) to wither.
3. (by implication) to waste away.

Matthew 21:19 "And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. Verse 20 "And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

Now learn the “fig tree”, listen, Ezekiel 15:2 "Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?”, read your commentaries and learn.

So it's the WICKED of this world that is "withered", or is dried up.

Revelation 14:16 "And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped”.

Revelation 14:18 "And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe”.

Two different Greek words, (ripe), for two different kind of persons to be harvested, (which are alike). lets see them, those in churches who profess to be christian, but are not.

Matthew 3:10 "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire”. as with the fig tree, frutless, but in the church.

Matthew 18:6 "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Verse 7 "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Verse 8 "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. Verse 9 "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire”. AND HERE THEY ARE PLAIN AS DAY, those none producer of FRUIT.

Two types of people in the first harvest, the wicked in the world, and the wicked in the churches. having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof". so we see the "types" of people being harvested. and the actual havest of the saved we will see later on.

Revelation 14:19 "And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God”.
The angels got all of the wicked, its vines, it's roots, and the grapes on them. For the winepress, see Matthew 21:33-46 . then read Ps 80:8, and read all of Isaiah chapter 5, Jeremiah 2:21-25 , Jeremiah 12:7-13, Mark 12:1-? Luke 20:9 to get the full understanding to what happens at the winepress.

Revelation 14:20 "And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs”.
not flows of blood, but in piled up bodies that contain blood in these dead bodies. You want find this type of teaching in most churches. This is of God.

Chapter 14 gives us, the “overcomer” good news vs the bad news in chapter 13. God shows us who “wins in the End”. GOD is Good all the time.

Chapter 15.
In chapter 14 John was given a General overall view of the end time. here in chapter 15 the same end time scenario is given but from another advantage point, or from another prospective. Same end-time, but with different details as we will see as we progress in the coming chapters. This different details will be address later.

Let us say this, as one can see, and will see, we have the same end-time scenario but with different perspectives and details. and the timeline is important. But according to who’s perspectives. There is "one" time for God, but we’re looking from a linear time frame perspectives. As God said in Isaiah 55:8 & 9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”. this will be address in a separate post the time-line.

But here in chapter 15, the heavenly time clock on the wall is shown unto us. The wicked has no idea of the coming destruction, but God show us how he has been saving his people from the start. As the ark was prepared, and rose above the waters on the earth. in the air above the destruction, Likewise, God’s people shall meet him above the earth and in the air. and the 1,000 year interlude begins.

The SAVED, and the wicked, “how God won in the end”
Revelation 15:1 "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God”.
Here, we have This sign in Heaven, and it’s “GREAT” and “MARVELLOUS”. John was shown many things concerning the end-time. John is shown God work both in salvation, (for the saints) and in Wrath, (for the wicked).

Verse 16 "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; verse 17 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: verse 18 "And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: verse 19 "And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: verse 20 "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: verse 21 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. this is the “Great” work of SALVATION.

Next, the “MARVELLOUS WORK”. Isaiah 29:14 "Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid”. WHAT IS THIS “MARVELLOUS WORK?”

answer, 1 Corinthians 1:18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Verse 19 "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Verse 20 "Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? Verse 21 "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Verse 22 "For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: verse 23 "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; verse 24 "But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Verse 25 "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men”.

God is showing us how simple it is for one to be saved. and at the same time storing up wrath for the ungodly.

“the seven angels having the seven last plagues”, this we will see in the coming chapters, God’s Wrath unleashed

Revelation 15:2 "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God".
A sea of glass signify safety for the wayfarer, the people of God. For glass has a smooth surface. Isaiah 35:8 "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein”. and that way of holiness is God himself, the Holy Spirit, who is a fire, a consuming fire. That word “mingled” also means “united”, biblically speaking we have an unction from the Holy Spirit. 1 John 2:20 "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
It is by the power of the Holy Ghost that we overcome. scripture, 1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, verse 4 "To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, verse 5 "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Verse 6 "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: verse 7 "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: verse 8 "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: verse 9 "Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls”.

The pouring out of the Holy Ghost sealed our redemption which is to come, hence we wait in patience, the hope of Glory, which have already been purchase for us.

Moses song, Exodus 15:1-18, the Lamb song, the praises of thy lips, Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord“.

“Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints”. the Lord God is “just and true?”, that’s the Lord JESUS. Deuteronomy 32:3 "Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. Verse 4 "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he”. Just and True, is the Rock, our God? Who is this Rock? Answer, 1 Corinthians 10:4 "And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ”. (BINGO). JESUS is the Rock the “LORD”, God almighty who is the one true and just God.

The 1,000 year interlude, Satan bound
Revelation 15:4 "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest".
All the saints from every nation, including Israel. For God is no respecter of person. As the apostle Peter said, Acts 10:34 "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 "But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him”. for by Faith Abraham is the father of “many” nations through Jesus Christ.

Revelation 15:5 "And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened"
This is the location of the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies where God dwells. The Lord Jesus the Christ is the DOORWAY that has been open to all who seek mercy and salvation of God, he is a walking ARK. he is our new living way to life. he is our testimony and our true confession. Hebrews 10:19 "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, verse 20 "By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; verse 21 "And having an high priest over the house of God; verse 22 "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water”.

“having our hearts sprinkled?” with what, and HOW?. Romans 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; verse 26 "To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus”.
What do the term “propitiation” signify? Not what it means, but what it signify. Lets see. It’s the Greek word, G2435 ἱλαστήριον hilasterion (hiy-la-stee'-riy-on) n.
1. an item or location used in obtaining favorable forgiveness.
2. (concisely) an atonement place or sacrifice.
3. (concretely) an atoning sacrifice (for favorable forgiveness); (i.e. the victim, not the act).
4. (specially) the atonement seat, the lid of the Ark (in the Temple).

The Last plagues, and the last resurrection.
Revelation 15:6 "And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles".

These seven angels are under orders from the Lord Jesus himself, these ministered unto him in this manner. not only was they created for this purpose, but also dressed for it. For the pure and white linen signify a right and just punishment of his wrath. supportive scripture, Romans 12:19 "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord”. where is this written? Deuteronomy 32:35 "To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste”. so it is the Lord Jesus the Lamb who belongeth vengeance, and recompence.

Revelation 15:7 "And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
“Seven golden vials”: These are a shallow type saucers, not in size of diameter, but in depth, they was used in the temple worship. And now they contain God’s plagues in his wrath.

Revelation 15:8 "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled".
Smoke signified God presence in the OT and no human could approach the temple. Nor here because God's anger is kindled and His fury is before his face. It’s a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the angry God. now his powers is made manifested, this we'll see in the coming chapters.

So here in chapter 15, we see the heavenly clock has run out for the wicked, “Judgment day”, for the wicked.

Revelation 16:1 "And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth”.
The command was given in heaven to pour out, so, the very first question, why pour out, and especially from the golden vials? As said before, contrary to popular belief these angels, who was dressed in white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles, are not like the “EVIL” angels that was sent into Egypt. And again I’m going against the standard teaching that many assume to be correct and true. Let the scriptures bare out the truth.

Revelation 16:2 "And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image”.
There are three keywords here to understand this revelation. they are, “fell” and “noisome”, with “sore”. what do we mean here? Remember the book of revelation is signified. and as we progress into further chapters, more detail is given of the end-times. the imagery here signify again two types of people, and it is dealing with their state of "Spiritually". how do we know this? it is revealed in the term "sore". this one word used here is twice used in a parble of the Lord, “the parable of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar”. the word “sore” set the stage for our understanding. scripture, Luke 16:19 "There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: verse 20 "And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores”, here, the Greek word for “Full of sores” is,

Again, two different Greek words that describe the same two different types of people as before, listen and understand. in Revelation 14:15 "And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe”.
and in Revelation 14:18 "And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe”.

as in chapter 14 we have two types of people, “ripe”, and “Fully ripe”. here in chapter 16, we have “sores”, and “full of sores”. again two types of peoples. but this plague “only” affected, listen, “upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image”. those with the mark, and those who worship the image, two types of people. but the scriptures said, “only those who had the mark of the beast, and those who worship his image. So this plague is not biological in nature, but in spiritual, lets see it.

the king and prophet David gives us the answer, which is helpful to this insight of this first plague. Scripture, Psalms 91:1-10 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 "I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 "Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 "Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 "Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked”. 9 "Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling”.

Listen to Gill’s commentary so that one can get a full understanding of what's been done. ”and from the noisome pestilence”; the most pernicious and destructive one; which may be literally understood of any pestilential distemper; from which the Lord, by his powerful providence, sometimes protects his people, when in danger of it: or, spiritually, of the pestilential disease of sin, that noisome and deadly one, the plague of the heart, which is the worst of all plagues; and from the ruinous and destructive effects and consequences of which the Lord saves his saints”.

let's make it simple for you. It’s heartbreaking to find out that after all your life you was following a “LIE”. WHY? Because as David, the prophet said in number 9, “Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation”. for the saints of God this habitation means “DWELLING”. Other words, the one's who have the the Holy Spirit is protected from spiritual deception. test the spirit by the Spirit. and the word Pestilence, here in the psalms, is “plague”.

(ONE MIGHT WANT TO READ THAT AGAIN). believing a lie, because they refuse to hear the truth. meaning "willing not to hear the truth". remember Gill’s commentary in Psalms. ”and from the noisome pestilence”. thinking you’re in christ Jesus, and holding on to those false doctrine and beliefs, are IDOLATRY to GOD Almighty. just as Israel was doing, playing the harlot. (one's life is nothing to play with). and those who have no Holy Ghost, and believe that they do.......... all I can say is "have mercy on them for they know not what they do". a false religion and a false doctrine, It’s heartbreaking to find out that after all your life you was following a “LIE”, that's devastating getting to the end of one's life and find out you have no life. And here’s some simple truth, the road to hell is WIDE and BROAD, why do one think the word sea is used? because it's WIDE and BROAD. and many are traveling on this road. but the straight and narrow, are but a few…… just because you’re in the majority, you might want to look in the mirror. If your doctrine is true, then it will stand the test, “by fire”. and as the the Egyptians, you still want “repent”, just as the scripture states. just like Pharaoh, when his magicians did the same, (Exodus 7:22), he harden his heart, and did not repent.

So our first plague is not biological in nature, but spiritual, depravity an "OPEN SORE" to all sort of disease, (sin). so a “sore” here is is not a medical “sore”, but a spiritual one. as with God 4 “sore” judgment in the book of Ezekiel. It’s amazing how God word is revealed.

For those who are reading these post, in the book of Revelation, here in this chapter, we’re dealing with the nature of a simile. So what’s a simile? a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid. again we’re dealing with a simile in these next verses that are to come. remember that the book of revelation is signified.

Revelation 16:3 "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea”.
Dead man blood? what is the simile, or the comparison to? first we need to understand what is the function of, “DEAD MAN BLOOD”. there is no flow or circulation of his blood, why? because of “heart stoppage”. so what do this, in a simile compare with? well in appearance it’s compared to someone who is in “FEAR”, they freeze, or “STOP” …... “DEAD” in their tracks. fear, or frighting, causes “STIFFNESS”, hence the simile of “dead men blood”, no movement because of FEAR. the comparison is stiffness and rigid.

now for the saints, our fear is this, 2 Corinthians 7:1 "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God”.
good, so how do we perfect this holiness? answer, 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. good so far, but of power, and such is the Spirit of God, who is called "power from high"". this is expressed is clearly made in, Luke 24:47 "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. verse 48 "And ye are witnesses of these things. verse 49 "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”. so the saints are protected, “seal” by the Spirit of God from the destruction that is to come. ok, Good, now what about the unbelieving and the wicked.

scripture, 1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape”. what did our Lord warned us about this?, Matthew 24:20 "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day”. flight? what is the Lord talking about and what do this have to do with this plague of blood of a dead man? listen and understand. as the scriptures said, God have given us a “sound mind”, and his Spirit. God has called us out of these false religions, and false doctrines. our flight is is to come out of her, meaning Babylon, (false religions), the mother of harlots. now the sound mind that he has given us, allow the Spirit to guide us into all truth, but for the unbelieving and the wicked, they refuse to come out of her, WHY? because of the blood that was poured out of the vial . what do that mean, it mean the “DEAD MAN”, blood, causes “STIFFNESS”. and our Lord said, “let not your flight be in winter”. what is in comparison of “stiffness” with winter? answer thing get hard or “stiff” due to the cold of winter, so those who refuse to come out of those false religions, and false doctrine because their hearts are “HARDEN”, and their necks are “STIFF”. in simple language, they are destroyed because of “hard-hearts”, and being “stiff-necked”. and we all know what cause this type of DESTRUCTION …. PRIDE, Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall”. for she has "fallen".

again, GOD, has already warn us all by prophet, & king, David, Psalms 59:12 "For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. verse 13 "Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah”.

Just like Pharaoh, they are hard-hearted, and stiff-necked, and refuse to come out of these false doctrine, and religions. yes that “spirit” of PRIDE, when poured out it gives one, a reprobate mind, unstable in all their way. as our brother James say, James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”. and that reprobate mind, because of this blood being poured out on the sea, as was in Egypt, goes in all areas of one’s life”. So the opposite of a SOUND MIND? is a reprobate one. Lets see, Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness
Romans 1:19 "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 1:21 "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:23 "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

so there is no actual pouring our of real BLOOD, nor any sea creature dying. blood, it’s just symbolic of “RED” meaning God is angry or “MAD” with the filthy resistance of man refusal to repent. and Blood is in reference to the wicked and unbelieving men who refuse God call to come out of Babylon, and kill the prince of "LIFE", they said, Matthew 27:25 "Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children". and even today there are many who refuse to repent, and his blood is in their heads. and they will be removed from the face of the planet.

as in Egypt, not only the main bodies of water was affected. so was the springs, and streams. likewise the same thing with the Jews so with the Gentiles, not just for them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but all who do lie. as the Lord said, “behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee”. so yes, to the Jews first, then the Gentiles. the Roman catholic churches, and the protestant churches both will be washed clean of these evils.

Revelation 3:16 "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth”. (Uh oh).

Revelation 16:5 "And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus”.
correctly so, there is none righteous no not one, only God is righteous and worthy to be praise. Psalms 33:1 "Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Psalms 150:6 "Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

now the part that Identifies who god is. “O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be”? is this not who this book is from? Revelation 1:4 "John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne”, many thought that this was the Father, but clearly it saying “O Lord”, who is JESUS. Revelation 11:17 "Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned”. but was it not the Lord God of the holy prophets who sent his angel to John, listen, Revelation 22:6 "And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done”. so the Lord God is the almighty, right and it was the Lord God almighty who sent his angel to John. now lets see who the Lord God almighty is by name who sent his angel. Revelation 22:16 "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star”. BINGO, the him which is, and which was, and which is to come, the which art, and wast, and art to come, is the Lord God almighty, who is JESUS. the only true and LIVING GOD. look how the bible come full circle.

Revelation 16:6 "For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy”.
that is a fact, that they, (who now sit in Moses seat), and the people, (see Matthew 27:24 & 25), have shed the actual blood, meaning the cutting off of “LIFE”. which they did to the saint and prophets of God. for the Life of the flesh is in the blood, Leviticus 17:11a by shedding blood, which is the LIFE, it is cut off. and they are worthy, of the same, to be cut off from life. worthy which is the key word here for the simile. what do the simile means by, "they are worthy?" answer, to be disinherited, or cut off from eternal “LIFE”. by their shedding of the blood of the inheritor, and those he sent, by cutting him off they in essence, have cut off their own-selves from “LIFE” eternal. in killing the Lord Jesus, (shedding blood), they forfeit their right to the kingdom, for the term worthy means, and reveals the simile, or the comparative actions. “Worthy”, G514 ἄξιος axios (a'-xiy-os) adj.

here in definition #2, is the answer, the comparatively or meaning the simile for the blood. a righteous judgment. they deserve what has happen to them. they rejected God, it’s only right that God reject them, this is recorded in,

Their own inheritance they forfeit by killing the heir, Matthew 21:43 "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”. the blood they cut off was their own. a rightioeus Judgment.

so the shedding of bloods here is the blotting out of LIFE ETERNAL for those who refuse to accept the Son. as they said, "his blood is on our heads and our children", Matthew 27:24 & 25.

Revelation 16:7 "And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments”.
Even so, is the response to the souls that was under the altar, (see Rev 6:9 & 10). for he is a God of truth, and Justice. Deuteronomy 32:4 "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he”. Proverbs 11:1 "A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight".

Revelation 16:8 "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire”.
this angel is pouring out his vial upon the "sun”. and power was given to “scorch” with “fire”. so lets breakdown this scripture to find out what the Lord means here. number one we know this is the natural sun in the sky. Scorch means, a surface burn, (and that’s important). but "fire" here is the Word of God, as we all know from chapter 11 concerning the two witness. the fire coming out of their mouth.
knowing all of this, what’s the comparison or the simile when something is “scorch” in this comparison by the natural sun?, number one something is scorch because of “exposure” and because of the heat of the natural sun, it is dyed up and it is “wither … away”. that’s in the natural. the comparison in the spiritual is when one’s religion, and or it’s false doctrine and or it’s beliefs systems are exposed by the fire, (the word of God), then one is “Scorch” or as in a sunburn “red faced”, and is offended, and or embarrassed, which result in a great hurt, and …. a great “DOWNFALL”. as said before this is one of the worst punishment men can get when their doctrine, or beliefs or religion is exposed in the “sun” light. (the sun of righteousness), cast out darkness of false religions, please take notice, and understand, this plague do not happen immediately, or at once, but as the scriptures states, the angel “pour this out”, so pouring is not immediately but gradual over time. and by these plague being “poured” out, (over time), they in layman terms, “they sneak” up on you before you know it’s there. or catch you by surprise, hence the RED FACE of embarrassment. so the thing is upon you before you know is was there, and now it’s too late, and there is nothing you can do about it because you will be exposed, and there is no way out. that’s dangerous, being overtaken and don’t even know it. so let’s see this in scripture,

“The Parable of the sower”, you know it, so lets zero in on our topic scripture. Matthew 13:5 & 6 "Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: verse 6 "And when the sun was up, they were scorched; (BINGO), and because they had no root, they withered away”. (false doctrine has no roots).

lets here the exposition of it, Matthew 13:18 "Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
Matthew 13:19 "When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Matthew 13:20 "But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
Matthew 13:21 "Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended". notice "by and by", progressive. .... pouring out.

that word “offended” here is very important to understand. it is the Greek word, G4624 σκανδαλίζω skandalizo (skan-d̮a-liy'-zō) v.

the builders who “REJECTED” their King, their messiah. and if you think for a minute that this is directed at the Jews only, you have another thing coming. for the sun shine on the “Just” as well as the unjust”. listen and learn Romans 2:13 "(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified”. now lets bring this over to us in the gospel. For not the hearers of the gospel are just before God, but the doers of the gospel shall be justified.

as said before, unto the Jews first and the Gentiles. are one just? let’s get justified.
all the false doctrine, and false beliefs are burnt up by Fire.

so all this gloom and doom that you have heard, or been taught, take notice, especially in the next verses and post to come. yes, there is an end to injustice, just not the way you think.

Revelation 16:9 "And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory”.
AS WE HAVE SEEN IN THE PREVIOUS VERSE, yet some still, even today has not repented.
“For their impenitency”, fire is poured our on them, not NATURAL fire, but the word of GOD, their lies are exposed. and their “WORKS” brunt up. first the OT, Isaiah 9:18 & 19 "For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. verse 19 "Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother”. when the truth comes to light, for some, it’s going to be an GREAT embarrassment. as the scriptures state, ”no man shall spare his brother”. it’s going to get real bad. real ugly. brother turning on brother.

Now let’s see this "heat" that "scorches" plainly in the NT, and for those hell fire preacher, listen up, 2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”. what is burnt up? A. the earth, not the planet earth, but those on the planet who have their little Private idols in and outsiade the churches, those “WORKS” will be burnt up with fervent heat. the word of God is a consuming fire, the “WORKS” will be destroyed. as the verse states, “And men were scorched with great heat”, the apostle Peter described it as “FERVENT HEAT”. again not natural, but spiritual. always keep this in mind, the “pouring out” is progressive, meaning over time.

Isaiah 5:24 "Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: (that’s the grinding in Matthew 21:44), because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel".
that stubble, and hay will be burnt up. 1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. verse 11 "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. verse 12 "Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; verse 13 "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. verse 14 "If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. verse 15 "If any man's work shall be burned, (scorched), he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire”.

is this the coming to the sense where all Israel will be saved? ………. “by the fire/the Gospel".

so the fervent heat here (scorch), is not the hell fire you been taught, but the revealing, the exposing, and the destroying of false religions, their doctrine, and their belief system.

Revelation 16:10 "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain”.
the “seat”, or the place or the source of the Authority of this beast is not Rome, (which she is one of her daughters), but at ground zero, Jerusalem. lets see it.

so we can clearly see that the seat of the beast is not in “Rome” of the (catholic). for this was directed at those in Jerusalem. remember this is the “LORD” DOING". Isaiah 29:10 "For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered”. BY THE CLOSING OF THEIR EYES, THEY WAS IN “DARKNESS”. this was before the Roman Catholic church existed. and please note I'm not "ROMAN" Catholic, the truth fall where it many.

yes, all that supposed, “secret knowledge”, and holding onto old rituals, which is done away with in Christ. this is why they “gnawed their tongues for pain”. Gnawed here is the Greek word, G3145 μασσάομαι massaomai (mas-sa'-o-mai) v.

if one searched this word out, in a bible dictionary, it would render “wound”, but if one just google it, “gnaw”, you will quickly understand what going on here it means, bite at or nibble something persistently. let’s put it in layman terms, “bite Your Tongue”, again this is another Figure of Speech, an idiom. that scorching sun (of righteousness) made them bit their tongues, or shut them up. and there are many example of this in the bible. just to see it, one of the biggest gross darkness they tried to keep people in was “ONE MUST BE CIRCUMCIED”. but clearly God commanded or told them to be circumcised in heir hearts, (see Deuteronomy 10:16 ). yet they still wouldn’t listen, so the plagues are being poured, other examples, in feast days, and or holy days, ect.... so we hope one now understand what scorched here means. not someone running around on fire, ok... no not that.
