Jesus said; the wisdom of the wise will be taken away,
Yes, he did and those who promote any "new temple" would be in a spirit of stupor, with their eyes not seeing the truth of what Jesus did not want, and ears that are stuffed with cotton so they refuse to believe he does not want a new temple no matter what any heretical writer writes.

Moriah, I believe a new 3rd temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, with animal sacrifice

This will be a complete "abomination" to the Lord's finished work on calvary, consider the scripture

Isaiah 66:1-4KJV
Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Self explanatory

I also agree a 3rd temple is "Abomination" you can't disregard the prophetic scripture below

I'm sorry but I don't get how you say a "3rd temple is an "abomination" and then say "Moriah, I believe a new 3rd temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem with animal sacrifices....

Will this 3rd temple you believe in be blessed and sanctioned by God?

I am really confused. I absolutely do not believe in a 3rd temple with sacrifices. I have never promoted that at all and have been clear about no new temple in Jerusalem. I don't know where you get that?

Lots of bully talk but nothing specific. So instead of huffing-and-puffing let's get specific as to which "heresy" in my list from post #324 below would you like to deny?

*******************************************************

Any belief system that would bring Christ back to earth for a re-do of what he already accomplished 2,000 years ago is heretical.

1- To bring back Christ to a literal temple when He has said multiple times that his temple is spiritual and not literal is heresy.
2- To bring back Christ for a redo of OT sacrifices when he was the ultimate sacrifice on the cross is heresy.
3- To separate the Jews from the Christians in the body of Christ when Christ brought both into one body is heresy.
4- To "rapture" the church to avoid tribulation is nothing but whiners thinking they are above trials and tribulations and therefore it is heresy.
5- To claim the New Covenant is for the Jews at a later time is heresy.
6- The belief that Jews can still be saved without believing in Jesus is heresy.
7- The belief that the Pope is the head of the Church while it is on Earth as well as the vicar of Christ and the veneration of Mary is heretical.
8- Roman Catholicism violates scripture in its doctrine of salvation, its claims about its authority, its apostolic succession, its priesthood, and its claim to have the sole right to interpret Scripture is heresy.
This is all stuff you teach. I am sure you have some applications throughout history.

Has literally nothing to do with my postings at all.

Truth7t7, Scripture and history combine to demonstrate that such an abominably blasphemous edifice will never be rebuilt.

Those who reject the lessons of Scripture and history...
...will be condemned to repeat them.

Sozomen (ca. A.D.375-447)
"Ecclesiastical History"
Book V, Chapter XXII

Though the emperor [Julian the Apostate] hated and oppressed the Christians, he manifested benevolence and humanity towards the Jews. He wrote to the Jewish patriarchs and leaders, as well as to the people, requesting them to pray for him, and for the prosperity of the empire. In taking this step he was not actuated, I am convinced, by any respect for their religion; for he was aware that it is, so to speak, the mother of the Christian religion, and he knew that both religions rest upon the authority of the patriarchs and the prophets; but he thought to grieve the Christians by favoring the Jews, who are their most inveterate enemies. But perhaps he also calculated upon persuading the Jews to embrace paganism and sacrifices; for they were only acquainted with the mere letter of Scripture, and could not, like the Christians and a few of the wisest among the Hebrews, discern the hidden meaning.

Events proved that this was his real motive; for he sent for some of the chiefs of the race and exhorted them to return to the observance of the laws of Moses and the customs of their fathers. On their replying that because the temple in Jerusalem was overturned, it was neither lawful nor ancestral to do this in another place than the metropolis out of which they had been cast, he gave them public money, commanded them to rebuild the temple, and to practice the cult similar to that of their ancestors, by sacrificing after the ancient way. The Jews entered upon the undertaking, without reflecting that, according to the prediction of the holy prophets, it could not be accomplished. They sought for the most skillful artisans, collected materials, cleared the ground, and entered so earnestly upon the task, that even the women carried heaps of earth, and brought their necklaces and other female ornaments towards defraying the expense. The emperor, the other pagans, and all the Jews, regarded every other undertaking as secondary in importance to this. Although the pagans were not well-disposed towards the Jews, yet they assisted them in this enterprise, because they reckoned upon its ultimate success, and hoped by this means to falsify the prophecies of Christ. Besides this motive, the Jews themselves were impelled by the consideration that the time had arrived for rebuilding their temple. When they had removed the ruins of the former building, they dug up the ground and cleared away its foundation; it is said that on the following day when they were about to lay the first foundation, a great earthquake occurred, and by the violent agitation of the earth, stones were thrown up from the depths, by which those of the Jews who were engaged in the work were wounded, as likewise those who were merely looking on. The houses and public porticos, near the site of the temple, in which they had diverted themselves, were suddenly thrown down; many were caught thereby, some perished immediately, others were found half dead and mutilated of hands or legs, others were injured in other parts of the body. When God caused the earthquake to cease, the workmen who survived again returned to their task, partly because such was the edict of the emperor, and partly because they were themselves interested in the undertaking. Men often, in endeavoring to gratify their own passions, seek what is injurious to them, reject what would be truly advantageous, and are deluded-by the idea that nothing is really useful except what is agreeable to them. When once led astray by this error, they are no longer able to act in a manner conducive to their own interests, or to take warning by the calamities which are visited upon them.

The Jews, I believe, were just in this state; for, instead of regarding this unexpected earthquake as a manifest indication that God was opposed to the re-erection of their temple, they proceeded to recommence the work. But all parties relate, that they had scarcely returned to the undertaking, when fire burst suddenly from the foundations of the temple, and consumed several of the workmen.

This fact is fearlessly stated, and believed by all; the only discrepancy in the narrative is that some maintain that flame burst from the interior of the temple, as the workmen were striving to force an entrance, while others say that the fire proceeded directly from the earth. In whichever way the phenomenon might have occurred, it is equally wonderful. A more tangible and still more extraordinary prodigy ensued; suddenly the sign of the cross appeared spontaneously on the garments of the persons engaged in the undertaking. These crosses were disposed like stars, and appeared the work of art. Many were hence led to confess that Christ is God, and that the rebuilding of the temple was not pleasing to Him; others presented themselves in the church, were initiated, and besought Christ, with hymns and supplications, to pardon their transgression. If any one does not feel disposed to believe my narrative, let him go and be convinced by those who heard the facts I have related from the eyewitnesses of them, for they are still alive. Let him inquire, also, of the Jews and pagans who left the work in an incomplete state, or who, to speak more accurately, were able to commence it.

None of your heretical views come from Scripture.
I'll let God's Holy Word speak for me.

Isa 66:1..."Thus says the LORD: "Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; what is the house which you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?"

Act 7:49...'Heaven is my throne, and earth my footstool. What house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest?

Jhn 2:21...But he spoke of the temple of his body.

1Co 3:16...Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
1Co 3:17...If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are.

1Co 6:19...Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own;

2Co 6:16...What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Eph 2:21...in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

2Th 2:4...who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple (naos; not hieron) of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Rev 21:22...And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.
You can apologize any time you want. :D

Of this, they are willfully ignorant of…. 2 Peter 3:5.
This is in regard to the forthcoming worldwide judgement by fire, but it applies to all people who want to be free of any hindrance to their own will, to do the things they want to do regardless of what is found in the Word of God. This willingness to be ignorant of the things of God is a willful choice based on a selfish desire rather than a desire to please God.

It is not that they cannot grasp the truth; or that they cannot understand it. The fact is that they do not want the truth because the truth of God's word would mean changing their cozy lifestyle. This also applies to those who have chosen to believe false teachings, in order to avoid the testing times to come.

Look at Acts 7:51-60….Then they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears. Why? They did not want to know the truth about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

This is true in our day as well. There are multitudes of people who do not want to know the things of God because they do not want to be beholden to God. They are willfully ignorant. Paul said something similar to that in 1 Corinthians 14:38: But if any man be ignorant, let him remain ignorant. As per Isaiah 29:9-12

Until a person is willing to receive the truth with an open mind and thereby become mentally renewed , he or she will remain in the dark about salvation and for Christians about the great future God has planned for us.

The truth is that scripture and history actually do confirm there will be a new Temple in Jerusalem during the end times and for the Millennium. Zechariah 8:9-23
The Temple they tried to build in Julian's time was not the one prophesied, so could not be built at that time.

God wanted Solomon and Ezra to build a Temple and Herod rebuilt it, so Jesus could utilize it in His first Advent.
There will be a new Temple for Him to Returns to and to rule from for the next Millennium. Isaiah 2:2-3

Paul clearly says the new Temple will be God's Temple. 2 Thess 2:4
Sacrifices and offerings will be made in it:
Psalms 51:18-19 Now Lord, show Your favour to Zion and rebuild Jerusalem. Then You will delight in the appointed sacrifices, young bulls will be offered in Your altar.

Jeremiah 17:24-26 Now, if you obey the Lord’s Commandments, then a ruler will again occupy David’s throne and Jerusalem will be inhabited forever. Then people will come bringing whole offerings, sacrifices as thank offerings to the Lord’s House.

Jeremiah 33:14-18 The days are coming when I shall bless Judah and Israel…….there will always be a Levitical Priest to burn the grain and other offerings every day.

Ezekiel 45:13-25 The details of and the dates for making all the sacrifices and offerings on the Altar of the Temple.

Isaiah 60:6-7 Livestock in droves will be in the Land to serve your needs, as acceptable offerings on My Altar and I will adorn My glorious Temple.
Isaiah 56:6-7 Foreigners will give their allegiance to Me.....To King Jesus, they will come to My House of prayer and their offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My Altar.

The context of these scriptures proves that all this will be for the last days period before the Return of Jesus.
That these truths do not suit some peoples beliefs, is their problem. God will do whatever He wants; He wanted humans to make offerings to Him before and will again.

I Apologize for any confusion, I fully understand your belief now, I misread post #385

I will post my belief once again, as I believe a 3rd temple will be built in Jerusalem

Moriah, I believe a new 3rd temple will be built in Jerusalem, with animal sacrifice

This will be a complete "abomination" to the Lord's finished work on calvary, consider the scripture below

Any claim of future animal blood sacrifice blessed by God is "way out in left field"!

Jesus Christ was the ultimate blood sacrifice in the Lamb of God, blood sacrifice has been "Abolished" at the cross of calvary

Hebrews 9:24-28KJV
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
