37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, - Matthew 24:37-38.

As in the days of Noah. End times.. eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage! That puts our days we live in - in perspective. As it was, so shall it be again Jesus said. History would repeat itself as the end of time as we know it would close out.

What do we know about the days we live in? We live in an age where grace abounds. A world where men and women have been allowed a choose their life. A world where the natural body can be treated in any fashion imaginable. A world where a baby can be killed, and a animal will be saved. A world where sin has had reign to abound, and grace did much more abound. The world as we have known it will cease from her works. That grace will end!

As did law come to an end - so shall it be when Jesus returns to rapture out a group of people by his grace.. grace will be coming to an end. Grace as we have known it will be coming to an end in the world and the world will suffer like never before. A world where you could fall into the hands of an angry God - and recover. The wrath of the Lord will be the vengeance taken. God gave his only begotten Son and whosoever would believe in him as their salvation would be saved. Comes to an end. Salvation of the finished work of God on a cross will cease and the world will suffer his wrath. A judgement greater than any judgement the world has ever known - blood will flow to the horses bridle. Men will cry out for the rocks to fall on them. Mens hearts will fail for fear!

The age of man will end. A new age will begin for they that have gained the new life. Life as we know it - comes to an end! The element God gave whereby men could live - time!

Just as there were humans being kept safe while destruction was going on all around them during the Flood of Noah's day, there will be humans kept safe while destruction is going on all around them when Armageddon begins. Mankind or the age of man as you say, will not end. When it comes to this planet that man lives on, God created it to stand forever and it was God's purpose to have mankind/human beings living on it forever. God has always loved mankind/humans that much. God loves mankind so much that he sent his Only Begotten Son to mankind so that mankind can be saved.

It is true that God has chosen a little flock from among mankind who will be kings and priests and judges with Jesus in that heavenly Messianic Kingdom and they will rule over earth. These who are the little flock will be changed from humans to very powerful spiritual beings having immortality and who will inherit incorruption. The majority of mankind however, including those who will be resurrected from the dead and who are not the kings, priests and judges in that Messianic Kingdom will be the subjects of that heavenly Messianic Kingdom and they will be resurrected back on this planet. Those who are to be the kings, priests, and judges in that heavenly Messianic Kingdom will rule over all these humans who pass through the great tribulation and Armageddon without dying and all those who are resurrected back on earth. Mankind by Jesus using God's Holy Spirit will progressively change mankind from being humans with sin in their flesh to being a human race of people who are without sin. All individuals of mankind will stop growing old and dying, there will be no wars, no hunger, no one homeless, etc.

Interesting post Mike, time is spoken about by many, When God existed solely, time existed, but we really attribute time having a starting point, and most of us agree, although do not understand, that God had no beginning. John 1:1 as well as Gen 1:1 opens with In the beginning, to us that was the start of time, that beginning spoken of was the beginning of creation, our historical starting point.

Good word! Out of many elements in creation - time is as important as any. We need them all, in view of the plan of God working in us.

Dang Mike I went in to edit my post and seen you had already read it, I am a bit of a moron, as you were speaking about the end of time, as you were saying although the Bible calls it the end, and we are living in those last days of this period, to us Christians it is really going to be a beginning, like you spoke about, of a new life. It is what we all pray for, the realization of the coming Kingdom of God.

1948 is the year that Gods end time prophetic clock started ticking again. we are living in the last days. How long until the events of Revelation unfold is unknown. The only thing I do know is that it is at least 10 1/2 years before the Lord will return.
