It's really important to keep things in context when discussing this subject. Remember, Jesus said the words He spoke were not His but the Fathers. Also keep in mind that after the Resurrection all authority was given to Christ. However, Paul makes it clear that even though Christ had all authority that authority did not include the Father. Christ never had authority over the Father. The Father is the ultimate authority.

On the other hand, there is also a lack of any verse saying that Jesus was Jehovah/Yahweh or Almighty God.

It's because you don't know where to look, but here's an advice do a word study on Jehovah/Yahweh, or Almighty God and see what you come up with?

No thanks. Not one verse states the doctrine of the trinity in 66 books. Reading a rationalization around this basic fact is unnecessary. See my thread on The Case Against Trinitarianism.

So it comes down to "your father is stronger than my father, thing? Surely you jest! If you want to boast, then boast in the Lord and not on assumptions.

Sorry, but you just don't have the knowledge to understand the meaning of the word "Trinity."

Jesus also said "I and my Father are one," or "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?"

He is the God, and Father, of our Lord Jesus Christ, and He is “the only true God” (John 17:3). It is Christ Himself Who insists that this is so.
Also, in 1 John 5:20, Jesus is called the only true God: “And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, in order that we might know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”
The Only True God and Jesus Christ Whom He Hath Sent. We declare it is self-evident from the scriptures that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are separate persons, three divine beings

LOL I understand 2 things about the trinity:
  1. The trinity is nonsense, i.e., inherently contradictory.
  2. The trinity is not in the Bible.
1. Only because you have a false interpretation. Already in Genesis 1:1 God gives us the answer, which the verse can be rendered correctly thus:
"In the beginning God [Elohim plural Hebrew word] 'they' created [bara singular word] the heavens and the earth.

2. The word “Trinity” does not appear in Holy Writ nevertheless the doctrine is clearly taught in both the Old and New Testaments. The words “omniscient” and “omnipresent” do not appear in the KJV of the Bible, and yet no serious Bible student will deny that the Scriptures do teach that God is omniscient and that He is omnipresent. That is He
is all powerful and everywhere present.

"In the beginning God [Elohim plural Hebrew word] 'they' created [bara singular word] the heavens and the earth.

The plural word Elohim is rendered 'gods'. Since it is in the feminine noun it refers to angels as created beings as with labor pangs. Jesus even admitted of coming from the gods whom the word of God came!

Jesus answered them: “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said: “You are gods”’?  If he called ‘gods’ those against whom the word of God came—and yet the scripture cannot be nullified— do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? (John 10:34-36)

Don't forget what the Father said in Hebrews 1:8:

"But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom."

And, John 20:28:

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."

If God the Father and doubting Thomas [first hand experience and witness] uttered the above verses of Jesus, why then many doubt? Are the words of God the Father not powerful enough?

LET GOD BE TRUE AND ALL MEN LIARS!

Repeating a lie does not make it true. The trinity is not in the Bible - the word nor idea.

So you recognize the Father as the true God only because the word Trinity is not found in Scripture?

Notice how he cut out the following verse? "You loved righteousness, and you hated lawlessness. That is why God, your God, anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your companions.” (Hebrews 1:9)

Note how you did NOT highlight the words, O God!

Does the term "your companions" means the angels? I know your denomination believes that Jesus is Michael the archangel but this is refuted in Hebrews 1:13-14.

Please, I respect your beliefs so respect mine and refrain from responding to my posts. Thank you.

Since that statement itself if a lie, repeating a lie does not make it true. Anti-Trinitarians simply dig themselves deeper and deeper into a hole which has no bottom -- the bottomless pit.

Christ never had authority over the Father. The Father is the ultimate authority.
This is true. But it does not detract from the fact that Jesus is God. Yet God the Father is the Head or authority over Christ (1 Cor 11:3). This is all a part of the Mystery of God and Christ.

The answer to the question in Hebrews 1:13-14 is in Hebrews 5:5. "So, too, the Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but was glorified by the One who said to him: “You are my son; today I have become your father.”

"And war broke out in heaven: {Jesus Christ and his angels} battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven." (Rev 12:7-8)

I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! (Revelation 12:10)

Well, no. I recognize the Father as the true God because that is what Jesus said at John 17:3 along with every Epistle.

The funny thing is trinitarians cannot admit the simple truth that the trinity is not even in the Bible. I am embarrassed for you.

Yet God the Father is the Head or authority over Christ (1 Cor 11:3). This is all a part of the Mystery of God and Christ.

It is no mystery that you are misrepresenting 1 Cor 11:3, which states God, in his unitarian nature, is head over Christ.
