OK OKThen why can't you call me by my name Miz GodsGrace?

I once felt that way, yes, but I've moved past that.Do you agree with me that the closer you draw to God the MORE you "feel" like a sinner because you realize more when you sin, even though it might be less. You understand more how Holy God is and how incapable we are?
This is how we "feel"... I'm not saying God sees us this way.
He now sees us through the eyes of His Son.
What's the next step?I once felt that way, yes, but I've moved past that.
There is always the next step, even if you don't realize it.
Muhammed clearly directs Muslims, in several places, to follow ChristAlso, compare M to Jesus.
See any difference?
well, but you are saying the same of our Prophets, rightThe Qur'an was written by A HUMAN PERSON who wrote what HE wanted to say. Supposedly by God, but we know better.
who are being oppressed is pretty apparent, BellaSo it's not the same bb.
OSAS is only dangerous if you don't take your faith seriously, which could easily add up to not being really saved.HI GG,
If one is OSAS AND has "eternal security" then what does it matter if they sin? Won't they still go to heaven?
Who defines "real Christian"? What is a "real Christian"? If I think I am a real Christian, does that make me a real Christian? Or do I go in front of a jury of "real Christians", they ask me 100 questions and they vote if I answered the questions correctly??? Who gets to be in that inquisition? Only real Christians?
No....I have no proof of a person being saved and then deciding to abandon God. That is because no one knows if they are saved and scripture makes it clear that salvation is not assured and that we must work for it.
The best example of a person I can give as "proof" is Charles Templeton. He is one of millions if not billions who "abandoned God".
I already know the logic of OSAS people. Charles Templeton was never really saved and he was never a "real Christian". Even though he thought he was saved and everyone around him thought he was saved....he really wasn't. It is a dishonest copout to make their OSAS theory work. The OSAS theory is not biblical and it is dangerous.
Mary
judgement and confession never come from the same mouth, in my experience at leastDo you still confess sins?
Uffa.Muhammed clearly directs Muslims, in several places, to follow Christ

No. 99% of the bible is inspired by GOD.well, but you are saying the same of our Prophets, right

i always understood those as pleas, but i guess the hearer must decide that for the selfHow many times do you hear the word JESUS said in a movie as a curse.
um, yikes? No. 99% of the bible is inspired by GOD.
God does not want to tell people how to use the toilet.
Some small parts of the O.T. were not inspired.
Must think about this.judgement and confession never come from the same mouth, in my experience at least
I know what you mean bb.i always understood those as pleas, but i guess the hearer must decide that for the self
Sorry.um, yikes?
As to 'if a person falls away', I would say you always have those who mix with Christians and go to church, who are not Christians. And many times it will be these that you see as fallen away.
As to 'if a believer falls away, was he saved to begin with?', yes he was saved to begin with, and is still saved, but has fallen away.
'Fallen away' is certainly a warning to believers, with consequences, but is not a loss of salvation.
Stranger
And your first statement- *"I agree with you. Once we are saved I believe we should sin boldly and sin often since we have no fear of going to hell."
I have never said this and you will never hear me say it.
You are being swayed by other people's interpretation of once saved, always saved.
I have just seen this...amen...Well said.
.....I didn't know that we agreed so much.![]()
