It seems there was never any point in replying to one who rejects God's Word. Except of course as a warning of "bridge out ahead" - to expose the false posts/ false teachings, for others so they are aware.

In Genesis chapter 4 we read there were other people in the Land of Nod (Adam must have been very busy) they were building a walled city for protection against other people, playing the harp and organ and making fire to work in brass and iron. These were not primitive people.

I do not have that figure to hand but Adam was not living two million years ago. The Israelites are late arrivals in human history, there are other, more ancient civilisations.
