[21] For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. [22] And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
1) can not deny in both parables it is an hard man to please
And many today still attribute that nature to God.
The man in the parable was making excuses.
He did not KNOW his Master...he did not 'see' the heart of his Master.
Psalm 18 " to the pure, you show yourself pure, and to the morally corrupt, you appear to be perverse."
The man could only believe his own perception of his Master!!
We cannot see straight , out of a crooked heart!
A strong verse that we need to remember is Matt 7:2
“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
Judge God merciful and Loving at all times ...for that is correct..for God IS Love. His whole nature IS.
Whoops, got a bit rambling there. :) x
