The Ten Commandments apply worldwide
So you agree, then, that all Christians should, by the grace of God, observe and keep the ten commandments today--even the 4th?
If they had the same faith as the patriarchs they will be alright.
.
I think that's obvious. But I was referring to the ones who did not keep the faith, and died too early to get in on the boon of national Israel at the end of time that is so often upheld by Christians.
The Mitzvot laws are Jewish laws written at a time of great stress when they were held captive in Babylon.
I think you're about 800 years off, there. And they are based on the Torah.

We are living in the seventh day, resurrection day, and that is what I celebrate, because Jesus is my all-in-all and He is Lord of the Sabbath. Apparently other people who call themselves Christians, don't think that is worth celebrating and follow the Jewish tradition. That tells me a lot, so I bid you goodbye.

The Ten Commandments—What happened?
Often when people ask about this, they seem to mean the Sabbath, specifically, since the other nine commandments are no-brainers.

Jesus did not view the Sabbath the same way that the Pharisees seemed to, so I suspect that our view should be more like His, rather than theirs.

The writer of Hebrews wrote,
"There remaineth therefore a [Sabbath-rest] to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." Hebrews 4:9-11 KJV

Jesus elaborated,
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.
For My yoke is easy
and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV

None of which gives us permission to break or spiritualize away the 4th commandment. It is the test for the last days. It is the Holy Spirit's job to convict but it is mine to inform.

The Lord of the Sabbath, worked on the Jewish Sabbath, there's a kick in the teeth for you. It just shows what he thought of Jewish legalism.
.
Absolute baloney. God worked on the very first 7th day. Who do you think held up the world and the stars while He was resting after His creation of the earth was completed? Think, think!

You'd just love to kick me in the teeth, wouldn't you? What a horrible thing for a Christian to think, much less say.

(If it is fulfilled in a different fashion, it hasn't been spiritualized away.)

Even the Jewish calendar is wrong. No way does it go back to creation. It is a complete fabrication.
Getting desperate? Calendars now? The U.S. Naval Observatory says there is no reason to believe the 7-day cycle has ever been disrupted.

@BarnyFife , you titled this thread, "The Ten Commandments—What happened?"

Do you really want to know "what happened,"
or are you saying that we should all re-adopt the Pharisaic view and be done with it?
It's a rhetorical question. I know exactly what happened.
