"How can you possibly claim that when Jesus comes with His angels in Revelation 14 that He does not come in power and glory. Would you think that Jesus would show up with His angels an not show up in power and glory.
In Revelation 14 there is no mention of Jesus nail holes in his hand and feet. Does that mean it is not Jesus? Of course not?"
IOW You need it reframed.
Yes, finally you get it.
I need to reframe your error that the signs of the sun, moon and stars that are seen in Matthew 24 occur in Revelation 19. This needs reframed from Revelation 19 where there are no signs of the sun, moon and stars to the 6th seal where the signs of the sun, moon and stars occur after the 6th seal is opened.
Read the ONLY PLACE Jesus shows up in power and great glory.
Ahem...Rev 19
The only place that Jesus shows up in power and glory or great glory is Matthew 24, or Luke 21 or Mark 13 which are talking about the same event. This event occurs when the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall from heaven which of course is after the 6th seal is opened.
(AFTER THE 7 YR TRIB OF DAN 9:27)
I see no 7 year tribulation in Daniel 9:27. All I see is a one week covenant that the prince that shall come confirms. Please show me where there is a 7 year tribulation.
Daniel 9:27
27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
(MID TRIB WE SEE THE AOD AND REV 14:14 GATHERING OF THE JEWS.)
No. Post trib which is pre wrath we see the Revelation 14:14 gathering of the Jews. In Matthew 24 we see the gathering from heaven and earth. This gathering occurs at the 6th seal immediately after the tribulation as evidenced by the signs of the sun, moon and stars.
Matthew 24
29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Not any hint of any return in power and great glory MID TRIB ( OR AT REV 14:14)
Exactly. Revelation 14:14 occurs at the 6th seal immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days. That is when Jesus comes in power and glory to gather the elect from heaven and earth.
BTW....You are claiming angels accompany Jesus in Rev 14:14
Nope...one angel, and the angel apparently does not leave heaven.
So no, ...I am sticking with the bible.
Yes of course, angels accompany Jesus. Jesus swings the sickle and the earth is reaped. Who do you think is doing the gathering after the sickle is swung?
Revelation 14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
His angels gather elect as we see here.
Matthew 24
31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
You need to rethink your position incorporating all the verses.
I think you need to realize that the signs of the sun, moon and stars do not occur in Revelation 19, they occur at the 6th seal. It would be better to admit the facts as you have no scriptural support for your contention.
