They understated the case. It's a matter of court records. You see, Trump did it to put pressure on the child's family in a dispute over a will. The family brought it up in the court, and a judge ordered him to restore the insurance coverage as his father intended:
Less than forty-eight hours after William Trump was born, he began having seizures. In the months ahead, he would stop breathing twice. The medical bills that followed ran to nearly a third of a million dollars. Soon after the medical problems arose, Donald’s younger brother, Robert, called his nephew and said not to worry, all the medical bills would be covered. For decades, Fred Trump Sr. had provided every family member with medical insurance through his company, Apartment Management Associates.

A letter from a Trump family lawyer instructed Precise, the Trump family medical plan that was part of the Trump business empire, to cover “all costs related to baby William’s care, not withstanding any plan limits (percentage, number of visits, or maximum dollar amount) …whether or not they are deemed by Precise to be medically necessary… This directive shall remain in effect until further notice.” The instruction was dated July 19, 1999, just twenty-four days after Fred Sr. died.
    ...
When Fred III, Mary, and their mother, Linda, learned about the will, they led a lawsuit, asserting that Fred Sr. was not of sound mind and that his signature on the will, dated September 18, 1991, had been “procured by fraud and undue influence” by Donald and the other surviving siblings. It asked that Fred Jr.’s descendants inherit a fifth of the fortune.

Donald Trump’s reaction was swift and vengeful. On March 30, 2000, one week after the lawsuit was led, Fred III received a certified letter stating that all medical benefits would cease on May 1. For little William, that was a potential death sentence.
    ...
Evans asked Donald Trump about this. He said that when he learned of the lawsuit over the will, his reaction was, “Why should we give him medical coverage?”

Pressed about whether it could appear coldhearted to withdraw the medical insurance of a sickly child, Trump did not waver. “I can’t help that. It’s cold when someone sues my father,” he replied.

Lisa Trump told Heidi Evans of the New York Daily News that she “burst out into tears” on learning her sickly son was in jeopardy. The devastated parents led a new lawsuit. They went to court not in Queens—where the Trump family’s influence was substantial—but in Nassau County on Long Island. A judge signed an order directing that the medical coverage continue until the matter could be resolved.

The time Donald Trump kicked his nephew’s sick baby off the family insurance plan » MobyLives

Fortunately, it's a matter of court records. And Trump being Trump, he didn't even realize that it was despicable, so he freely discussed it.

He's not the first sleazebag president we've had. But most of the others did a pretty good job anyway. He's made America a laughingstock in the world.

Trump freely discussed it because he had nothing to hide.

The media has only tried i's best 24/7 to make Trump the laughingstock in the world. boy they could of done the same with Obama and had a fild day but he is a Communist so they do not attack such morons.

I remember baby Bush was the first real moronic clown and then Obama was the icing on the Cake, that so many Idiot's voted for a moron who the world knew nothing truly about ? were he was born ? his schooling or his history hidden and why ? who is his real dad ? is his wife truly a man ? it has wider shoulders than him and there are even photos of it as a man in it's schooldays. not to mention that Obama is a Moslem and a Communist and claimed that the USA was not or ever was a Christian Nation ! and not to mention all the totally stupid things that he did to try and run the Nation into the ground.
The brain storm of just printing money haha ! Idi Amin did that one as well !

So really impossible to hide a crime like that. Fox's own legal expert shows that it's a crime.

Trump did it a lot more effectively than the media could have done.

My take on this whole anti Trump crusade by the left is that it is not a crusade that seeks honor, truth, or justice, or even a better future for the American people. It appears to me it is merely a crusade of ideological hatred against conservative policies...regardless of whether such policies are working or not.
In the panel discussions...The house speeches...The media articles...The street protests...And the interviews such as the one above, I sense an animosity that is searching for any excuse, reason, whether it be real or otherwise, whether it be lies or truth, whether it is logical or totally unreasonable, to destroy not Trump, because he's just collateral damage...The real target is America. It is your nation that is under attack. Your independence. Your republicanism. Your freedoms. Your very constitution.
Destroying Trump is simply the means to that end. And the alternative is not Hillary. Not Biden. Nor any of the other democratic hopefuls. The result of the destruction of the current administration is a giant leap towards democracy. Mob rule. Where the majority, the loudest voice, the most strident screaming hateful anarchist decides the destiny of the nation. No checks and balances on knee jerk legislation stemming from fear of shame and public disgrace. No more thoughtful wise counsel as the prime catalyst for future governance.
In such as I have painted above, Trump could be either an ignorant patsy, or he could be working for those who are orchestrating the whole thing. Which is why I say again, add I've said many times previous, the Christian who has placed his trust in Trump to honorably represent Christian virtue and uphold Christian ethics is looking in the wrong direction for hope and security...The Christian who believes righteousness in a nation can be established through political power is deceived...And the current controversy in America is a global issue affecting prophecy and the powers that be...The deep state...And those working assiduously to accomplish the destruction of protestant America, is where the focal point of end time prophecy and the destiny of millions is being decided. This is not a local political issue of a good/bad president. Whatever comes of this will affect the whole world, and whoever is behind these events and guiding the minds and hands on the ground, will ultimately rule the nations.
Which is why the only real hope for America...The only real hope of survival for independent American protestant Christians, is deep repentant soul searching heartfelt spirit led prayer and gut wrenching crying out to God for help...because what is taking place inn your nation now is way beyond human capacity to resolve...it is demonic, and only God can stem the evil.

For some Democrats, it may be just hate; but for others, I don't think so. Remember Pelosi resisted impeaching Trump for a long time. There are some Democrats in the House who also didn't want to impeach him since they are from districts where Trump did fairly well. The most vociferous voices for impeachment were from heavily Democratic districts since the Congressmen from them knew it would be popular and they could be re-elected no matter what.

What do you do with a President who ignores the limits of Presidential powers the way Trump has done by going around Congress diverting funds from the military to build a section of "his" wall? Congress is supposed to decide where money gets spent. What do you do too with a President who uses his powers to get another country to try to dig up information on his political opponents? It troubles me that Ukraine must feel more at risk now -- should they start making overtures to Russia to get on more friendly terms with them since they can't count on the USA?

I am also concerned when French President Macron was talking about how NATO might not be what it used to me, that perhaps Europe needed to consider a new option for European safety. The Kurds are also seeing the USA now as unreliable. Our traditional allies suspect that they can't count on us. They feel they need to look at other options.

Foreign interference in American elections needs to stop; and any American politician who seeks foreign help needs to be stopped. Allowing Trump to get away with it would send a message, and future politicians of both parties would feel free to do the same thing Trump did.

Congress has allowed itself to do too little for too long. Thus Presidents got more power. Don't forget that the current mess with DACA is the result of President Obama taking action because Congress was too lazy to do anything even when he asked them to. Now Trump has said what Obama did was unlawful -- and I agree -- but the mess still exists, and the many people affected by DACA are still in a state of not knowing what their fate may be. It's not fair to them or anyone else. Congress could have fixed that situation under Obama and didn't.

I think it's about time for Congress to start exerting its lawful powers. If they don't, we're going down the road to a dictatorship, no matter which political party is in power. I surely would not want someone like Bernie Sanders as President ruling the nation with executive orders while Congress twiddles its thumbs instead of writing laws.

My guess is Trump will resign. I cannot see Republicans in the Senate wanting to have to vote either way on impeachment charges. I think they'll put pressure on him to quit; and threaten him if he doesn't, they'll vote to convict. Under that kind of pressure, I think he'll resign and invent a reason for it.

I think he'd do it if he could get a deal pardoning him for all the crimes for which he's being investigated. But since some of them are not federal crimes but state crimes, that seems unlikely.

His greatest fear now, I think, is losing the election and becoming indictable for various state violations.

Most Americans disagree with you. Farmers in the Midwest, for example, aren't happy that his trade wars have badly harmed them, and most of them, being conservative, are insulted by his offer to remedy the situation by giving them a form of welfare payments.

You're assuming Trump is a conservative. He only plays one in the WH. This is why the few remaining principled conservatives detest him.

So that clown claims, but the reality is if it was truly a crime, it would of been dealt with in fact.

Trump may of been the executor of the will, so it's end of story, it does not matter, his say is final at the time. it's up to the one to seek to over turn the executors decision. that's the way it goes.

If you have ever been in a court of law, you would understand that one makes his case peddling what ever and then another has his say about that then the Judge makes the call.

Fox's legal man is there own payed piss boy who is just playing a clown who's claims do not have any legal authority at all.

Trial by media :rolleyes: sounds like Nazi Germany to me or the madness of Communism, where one is claimed to be guilty until proven otherwise but one could have your business destroyed or end up dead before that.

Nothing wrong with trying to find out if a criminal act has taken place in regards to another political person who may want to be a leader of your nation, the problem is worse if they fear not say to Trump, not to mention as to why are they not coming forward with such dealings, this should be investigated totally in full now so as to see if their is a case, Trump is asking remember and such is totally worthy to bring up, in fact it should be an order to come clean or face action, something is really wrong with that mobs dealings within Ukraine.

The Ukraine has been controlled by the Talmud Jewish bankers and their hired Nazi thugs that have been playing the Ukraine people for fools a lot of money has been invested to temp and control Ukraine's people, if you bother to look.
The average person in Ukraine is much more united with Russians any day than it ever will be with the USA.

Here in Australia political party's will go to any lengths to dig up anything that they can on any opposition, they will spend millions of tax payers $ on such to try to destroy them and if they can find nothing they will just make up so much BS that some of it has to stick. they spent unlimited money and still could not find one thing that one Premier did wrong in 40 years and he had to try and defend himself with his own money, yet if he had unlimited money he would of wiped the floor with them and exposed them all for what they were.

The Kurds love USA ? o_O:confused:they have always hated the USA, they only suck up for one reason, other than that you have to be joking. all of Islam loves the USA as well, only if you give them what they want and as soon as you don't then they will attack you.

It is. He can't be indicted until he leaves office, but the impeachment is moving forward now. The criminal consequences will have to wait until then.

He is a conservative retired judge, who recognizes the law. And he's quite right. There's no question at all about it being impeachable, since bribery is listed in the Constitution as a cause for impeachment.

By the Senate. The media just reports what's going on. Presently, the House functions as a grand jury, and the senate will conduct the trial.

Except there wasn't a free press or an independent judiciary in Nazi Germany. If that was the case here, Trump would be home free.

Except that in communist countries, there isn't a free press or an independent judiciary. If that was the case here, Trump would be home free.

Here, he has to be first impeached by the House, and then convicted by the Senate.

No 1 that retired Judge has not authority and is working for the media and has no authority power at all worth diddle, he is their piss boy, we are talking about the case that Trump must of been the executor of the will here.
What ever a Judge says means diddle, if one is not on the case in fact.
Such is a trial by media in fact !
you know we are looking at some dude on TV here you know, that has no authority at all on the case, so such is the definition of "Trial by media" in fact. the case has not come about yet in fact, so he is being convicted by the media here ? that's the point ! a trial by the media !!! you are making out that the case is closed. that is a work of Satan in fact, to try and lead others astray.

Not to mention that something is going on that stinks in the Ukraine and is to why the President asked the question in the first place ?
The point here is all about what is going on in Ukraine ! but the media are not interested in criminal conduct of the dude who may become president, that hides all that he may truly be a real creep in his dealings in Ukraine in reality.
Trump as every right to ask for help and even sanction the bastards for hiding such criminal conduct. their is real shady things going on in the dealings in Ukraine. the point that your President was looking into is worthy of a President to do in fact.
If the people who are being looked into as to Ukraine have nothing to hide, why try and hide ? and why does the media hide their dealings, it's typical of the Talmud media to play every dirty trick that it can to cover up or to try or create mountains out of mole hills nonsense like this on Trump.
The media nowadays are just like the media in Communist Nations and Nazi Germany was, in just constantly spinning lies and covering up for there master the Talmud Whore.
What if the clown is exposed as to his dealings that are being looked into, what then if Trump comes up with damming evidence hey ! your Satanic media is going to look like the morons that they truly are and what did they do to look into this Ukraine stuff ? nothing ! they know it's true but they don't print it, because they are controlled by the Talmud whore who is trying to destroy the USA and are hell bent trying to create a Communist Nation out of the USA and enslaving all and then put Agenda 21 into practice.

But he does know the law, and he's quite correct. As he pointed out, the Russian case where Trump tried to obstruct the investigation, is arguable. But the Constitution specifically cites bribery as an impeachable offense. No question about that.

He's scared of Biden, and withheld aid to Ukraine in an attempt to get them to help him defeat Biden. Not just him. Turns out that Guiliani and two Ukrainian nationals were trying to undermine the State Department's work in Ukraine. Those two are now in jail, pending arraignment. Guiliani is sweating over that case too. There's more. Would you like to see more?

Was. When the whistleblower came forward, the whole scheme collapsed like a house of cards. Ukraine didn't announce the "investigation" Trump demanded, suddenly, all attempts at extortion and bribery ended, and the aide was released. And a couple of Trump operatives tried to flee. But they were caught as they tried to leave the country.

It's the same thing that flattened the republicans with Hillary. Evidence. Or rather lack of it. However, we have a transcript of Trump's attempt to extort political favors in return for aid to Ukraine. He's got bigger worries than impeachment. It's also a felony. And when he leaves office, that's waiting for him.

And I notice the court just rejected his attempt to withhold his taxes from Congress, which Congress is authorized by law to do. Not a good week for the WH.

I wonder if the anti Trump sentiment of the left is shared by other Catholics on this site? Yeheren and too old to care seem to, and although I am sure sentiment is divided, I do see the attack against Trump as an anti American thing...am anti protestant/constitution/free state free church paradigm...And the greatest protagonist against those principles stems from Rome. Be interesting how much the Catholic individuals here share that?

Unfortunately for the democrats hearsay and false allegations don't stand up as evidence. And surely you can see that the hatred against Trump is wholly ideological and driven by blind animosity? And I think America had more to fear from Biden than does Trump.

Well spoken, our friend from Down Under! Very well spoken. Please pray for our nation, as I'm sure you do. Yes, whatever happens here will affect the entire world. Freedom hangs in the balance, but more than this, I agree with you that Americans need the spiritual freedom that only comes from submission to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

And I pray for Australia! May spiritual freedom ring there as well!

I take from this then that the prime motivation for getting rid of Trump is not any form of genuine righteous indignation for Trumps foibles, but pure self interest.

And although the majority of doctors are against it, the general public it seems have sympathy toward it.

Under current Justice Department guidelines, he won't be indicted by them; but the law itself doesn't give him immunity.
