As dispensational futurists, they'd be too dead to flee.

Christians don't need to flee the abomination of desolation, you said yourself that Daniel 12:1 is about 70 AD.
Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.

Why would any christian need to flee while Michael is sounding the trump of God delivering God's people? Why would you run from the arch angle when it is the time of deliverance?A time when those who sleep in the dust of the earth awaken and are delivered? Every single one of Daniels people who's names are found written are delivered at that time. The only people who would run are those who's names are not written.

Jesus put no date to anything, he clearly stated it was a "Future Generation" that would witness his "Second Comig"

You deny the second coming is seen in Matthew 24:30, and sluff this scriptural truth off as a 70AD judgement upon Israel, false predictions in preterism 100%

Jesus only talked to 3 of His disciples in the Olivit Discourse and He told them that their generation would not pass until all of these things take place.

Like Covenantee said the Christians living in Jerusalem believed Him and fled Jerusalem before the Romans sieged the city and they lived. History reveals the truth.

They fled in 66-67. This had nothing to do with 70AD. Peter and James were dead way before 70AD. John was on Patmos. Most would agree the Revelation was not even written yet. None of them witnessed the event in 70AD.

If the Jews had not continued to revolt, Titus would have never come back to Jerusalem in 70AD. 70AD was solely on the Jews, and their rebellion, not the OD and the words of Jesus. Jesus' people, the Jews, destroyed their own way of life.

Of course they fled at the time that you said they fled because they heeded Jesus warning through the disciples that's my point and it had everything to do with 70AD how could it not?

I never said that they witnessed it.

God used Rome to destroy Jerusalem for His purpose for rejecting and killing their Messiah and God

Luke 21:41-44
41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

So the Jerusalem wasn't destroyed because of their rebellion (which they did rebel again Rome) as God could of protected them' Jerusalem was destroyed because they rejected and killed their Messiah and God.

Are you one of those people who claim the resurection took place in 70 AD?

I don't understand. The Judean Christians did flee the abomination of desolation (the Roman armies), in 66 AD when those armies temporarily withdrew.

I don't see any mention of a trump in Daniel 12. It wasn't the end of time. Michael was intervening to save the Judean Christians, which history records that he did when they fled and survived.

The arch angel sounds the trump of God when Daniels people are resurrected from the dust of the earth. That takes place in Daniel 12:2.

Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. Daniel 12:2 And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Every one of Daniels people who names are written are delivered at that time. This would include Abraham m, Issac and Jacob or do you believe thier names are not written?

I posted three Scriptures previously demonstrating the spiritual resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life. The Judean Christians had experienced that spiritual resurrection. As a result, they also experienced physical deliverance.

There is no trump. In fact, its absence reveals that this is not the final physical resurrection, but rather the spiritual resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life which characterizes every true believer in Christ, and which characterized the Judean Christians.

The later half of the 70th week is during the Seals, Trumpets, and Thunders. The 42 months after the GT and 7th Trumpet is Satan's time, not the GT.

The 42 months of Revelation 13 when the "dragon" is given power over ALL nations, is... the "great tribulation" time. You are fighting against the written Word of God:

Rev 13:4-8
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

So you believe no Christians in Judea recieved the holy ghost until 70 AD. Now dosnt the scripture say the apostles recieved the holy spirit at pentacost many years before 70 AD?
If your right and no apostles or anyone else in Judea had a ad pititual resurection until 70 AD then somethings not right here.

And you said Dan 12 took place in 70 AD which means you saying no one recieved spiritual life until 70 AD which you say was the time of the end. You telling me the gospels and acts is a lie?

Did you notice that none of what you quoted said anything about a great tribulation?

Exactly. 70AD had nothing to do with the OD, except they fled 3.5 years prior to the destruction. So the closest we get to 70AD is the fleeing 3.5 years before 70AD. That was given in Luke, not Matthew. Matthew is still future.

It doesn't have to... give you a direct trib word quote. You are supposed... to be aware of WHEN the future pseudo-Christos will show up per Matthew 24:23-26, for THAT is the future role of that "dragon" that makes war upon the saints!

There's no proof that the Jewish believers on Christ in 70 A.D. fled the city for 3.5 years. You are abusing Scripture.

Scripture clearly teaches its a future generation that will be eyewitnesses to the "future", literal, second coming of Jesus in the heavens

The very reason you deny a literal, visible, second coming of Jesus Christ is seen in Matthew 24:30 below, as you sluff this off as a Judgement upon Israel in 70AD, and don't recognize the literal, visible, second coming that's seen

Matthew 24:30KJV
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

What is near, even at the doors, the future second coming

What is the day and hour no man knows, the future second coming

"A Future Generation"

Matthew 24:33-37KJV
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
