Much discussion in another area of the forum about UNITY and what it means, and doesn't mean.

Many seek doctrinal unity.
But we discovered that they haven't accounted for the necessary compromise to make that happen.

What they really want is for everyone to JOIN their doctrinal tribe so that UNITY will happen.
Basically unity through division. Tribalism. You are in if you agree, and out if you don't.
I think it is wrong to label that as unity, as if tribalism is a virtue.

I think unity of the faith has to do with accepting and respecting others with doctrine differing from our own.
An emphasis on understanding one another rather than trying to correct each other.

- Can there be doctrinal unity without compromise?

- Can there be unity of the faith without conflict?

Doctrinal Unity is found in the FATHER/SON/HOLY SPIRIT.

Doctrinal compromise is found in the world and our hearts.

"Choose you this day whom you will serve"

"I came not to do My will but the Will of HIM who sent Me."

"If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you."

Good example of the unity in exclusivity and tribalism this topic is about. Thanks.
Doctrinal Unity is found in the FATHER/SON/HOLY SPIRIT.
Really? How is that working? Have you found it yet?
Not OUTSIDE your tribe, I suppose.
Doctrinal compromise is found in the world and our hearts.
Do you follow blindly anything your tribe requires you to believe? No disagreements? (be honest)

Nothing to do with doctrinal unity, or doctrinal diversity.

YOU just described the all inclusive movment . THEY always attack the us for the very thing THEY GUILTY OF My friend .
THERE IS only ONE WAY to settle this .
EVERYONE , GO BACK TO THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELVES . LET us learn IT and have UNITY IN THAT DOCTRINE
FLEE every movment . INCLUDING the false all inclusive one which is deadly dangerous .
YA WANNA go down this road . LETS GO DOWN this road my friend .
BUT ITS GONNA BE IN THE BIBLE . Not what mens doctrines taught us
BUT THE ACTUAL BIBLE ITSELF . You all will lose that battle . just as others have .
You really want this . THEN LETS GO back into the bible . READ aLL THE GOSPELS
READ ALL THE LETTERS OF THE APOSTELS , READ IT ALL .
and let us learn and embrace IT ALL . You gonna find out your group is even more guilty than all other false groups .
BUT LETS DO THIS .

Well, i am part of the Group known as 'TNT'. Therefore i am Tribal.

TNT believes that there is OST that we must all seek after = WTL

Currently, the TNT is under the CSS.

WTL claims that there is no other way!

The WNU embraces all doctrines for the sake of WP.

The WNU encourages GAD which is making the way for the AOD.

The AOD is the head of the WNU.

The WNU will light the fuse of the TNT which will expedite the Lol who will give WNU a DOW.

The FON is overseeing the Operation of TNT with all authority given to CSS which has it's own SOT working covertly.

TMP would be 'Totally Missed the Point' .

So you have me stumped on TMI.

Any clues?
Is it embedded in a Bible verse?
TMI = Too Much Information

The acronyms in your post totally threw me.
Realized it probably wasn't serious, or was so controversial that you couldn't say what needed to be said.
I still love you, in case you were wondering.

i know you like to laugh so here goes:

i have discovered who the Two Witnesses of Revelation ch11 are.

Peanut Butter and Jelly

Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Holy Spirit produces the Fruit of the Vine and we are the Nuts of the earth

Fast Food, nothing better then a good P&J sandwich

I had a PB and honey sandwich for breakfast this AM.
I was reminding my wife of the day, many years ago, when we were grocery shopping and I asked for crunchy PB.
Our boys didn't like crunchy PB, so we didn't have any at home for years. Creamy was the rule.
I really missed it, so I requested that we reintroduce crunchy PB into our home.

This then becomes a mire of doctrinal disputes.

Creamy vs Crunchy
Jelly vs Jam vs Preserves
White Bread vs Whole Wheat vs Toasted
Organic (nothing added) or Peter Pan or Jif(sugar added)
Salt or no salt added

Since i am a 'doctrinal purity' type of guy i go with the Organic Valencia and low sugar Rasberry Preserves(preservation of truth - lol)

Growing up i was a sinner = Jif and FlufferNutter

i do have my feet(taste buds) on both sides of the fence = smooth and crunchy

But i will never backslide into fluffernutter.

1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful;
he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c]
he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

There is no actual unity in tribalism....only the appearance of unity. It is a facade which when prodded reveals its inherent inadequacy.
