Not the same thing at all. You are referring to vaccines that contain actual (weakened) virus, which may be contaminated with proteins from the cells it was grown in.
In this case there is NO virus in the vaccine. The DNA is sequenced, then the mRNA or protein for the actual vaccine is assembled in the lab. There is no direct connection between the cell culture and the final product.

That is novel for this style of vaccine, then. It doesn't allay the ethical considerations for me, however.

And those same cells are used widely in scientific research, not just in vaccine development. If the vaccines are "tainted" by the association, so are many other things.

To try to go back and extirpate everything in pharmacies or that has some medical application retrospectively would be impossible.

I know that in the US there is a strong, anti-vaccination movement; I am not in the US.

In my city, dozens of people died of the virus in one building alone. If I persuaded someone not to be vaccinated and the person went on to contract the disease and to die of it, I would not be able to look the person's families in their faces.

Being a medical doctor today is insufficient in this regard, unless that doctor has thoroughly examined the whole COVID Scamdemic and knows what is really going on.

A California doctor who spoke out against lockdowns was literally fired for exposing the fraud. There are other medical doctors who have also spoken out very strongly against this bogus pandemic and the bogus vaccines accompanying it.

On the other hand almost the entire medical profession in the West has capitulated to this nonsense, and failed to tell people the truth. Doctors have stood by and simply allowed public health officials to publish bogus data about *cases* and *deaths* as well as the vicious sabotage of the HCQ package (which had proven itself as a cheap and effective remedy).

If you neighbour's child died of a disease after you had persuaded her not to vaccinate her child from that disease, would not she subsequently think that maybe your conscience should have been impressionable from wider aspects than the exclusive one which may have cause you to persuade her not to vaccinate her child?

(My apologies; I'm not in the US; I know in the US there are currents of opinion which differ largely from those which have a significant current elsewhere.)

All the people who have died in my city, and all the people vulnerable in my city are part of the immediate evidence for my inclination at the very least not to dissuade people from taking the vaccine.
