Why not just believe God's Word on the catching up (rapture)??

Why not believe ALL... of the 1 Thess.4 Scripture by Apostle Paul, instead of your doing a cut and paste to try and fit it into men's doctrines of a false pre-trib rapture?

I already showed you what Paul taught in 1 Thess.4. It aligns perfectly with what Jesus taught in Matthew 24:29-31 and Mark 13:24-27 about His coming after the tribulation to gather His Church.

That part in red is ADDING TO SCRIPTURE, and those doing that will answer to Jesus for it.

There is NOTHING written about Jesus taking His Church back into Heaven. The heavenly dimension is revealed ON the earth when He comes, which is how ALL EYES will see His coming! John Darby in 1830's Great Britain instead taught that Jesus gathers His Church prior to the tribulation, and that it is a SECRET coming, i.e., not all eyes will see Him, which goes directly... against the Rev.1 Scripture that says all eyes will see Him coming in the clouds.

Your (not Scripture's) "7-year-tribulation" theory is based upon a FALSE rendering of the Daniel 9 seventieth week. If you obey the angel's instructions in 12:4 & 9, you should find a fulfillment (with NO GAPS) in the era approximate to 1948.

I'd be more than happy to walk through what Daniel 9 ACTUALLY SAYS, -- both Scripturally and Historically --, but most people prefer their doctrines over the TRUTH of Scripture!

It is very sad, really, but people who have believed the 'wolves among the flock', who taught the 'pre-trib rapture to heaven', are locked into it. Shown by scriptures like Isaiah 29:9-12, Isaiah 42:18-20, Ephesians 4:18, +

The best we who refute that false teaching can do, is to present what will actually happen, so when the Lord takes action and disaster strikes; they will remember that the Bible does tell us God's plans for His faithful people; not to harm them, but to give them an amazing future. Many prophesies tell of this time, where every Christian person will live in all of the holy Land being the people God always wanted there; His witnesses, Isaiah 43:10, John 15:27 and His Light to the nations. Isaiah 493-8, Matthew 5:14-16

The verse in Revelation 3:10 says those who have stood firm in their faith, will be kept from the ordeal that will come upon the whole world to test its inhabitants.
So firstly, we must stand strong in our faith, during the great trial and test of everyones faith, by fire as 1 Peter 4:12 and dozens of other prophesies tell us. That will be the next prophesied event; the Sixth Seal.
Then, when the Great Tribulation comes while the Anti-Christ has world control for the last 3 1/2 years of this era, we see how the Lord will take His faithful people to a place of safety on earth. Revelation 12:14

Believing the Church will be 'raptured' to heaven, is to believe a lie, as that idea is never stated in the Bible.

Actually, the only way to make sense of scripture and have everything harmonise is for Jesus to come to the earth twice. First, to take His church home to the Father. This takes place at the event we call the second coming. Call it a rapture of you like... The resurrection takes place at the same time. Both those who are alive at His coming, and all the deceased of all ages, rise together to meet Him in the air... So then, and only then, shall we be united with and in Him, forever.
Then at the end of the millennium, the second resurrection... The resurrection of the wicked. At that time the new Jerusalem , our home for the previous 1000 years along with the angels, Jesus, and the Father, descends from heaven with all the Saints and the earth them made new... After the destruction of the wicked and the cleansing of the earth by fire... Shall become the inheritance of the meek. So simple really.
The planet has had its 7th millennial Sabbath rest. What we refused to give it, God fulfils His purpose and His righteousness. I know. Amils cannot accept that scenario because they cannot reconcile it with the concept of the return of the city at the second coming.... Which doesn't happen at that time.
