That too is the ministry of Jehovah's Witnesses but not just in Israel....there are many reasons, often cultural ones where turning from your ancestral worship brings ostracism. The ministry I was associated with had to pick up the pieces and give support to new Jewish believers.
The other problem, like it was in the first century, is that those who purport to worship the same God are often our worst enemies....
Jesus said....“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. 37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." (Matthew 10:34-37 ESV)
This division is therefore not unexpected, and those who find themselves at odds with family members or others over their loyalties will have to choose.....Jesus tells us how to view such a sensitive and emotionally charged situation.....we choose Jesus and the worship of our God as the most important things in life. Family pressure should not move us to abandon what we know is the truth.
