Unpersuasive and disinterested.
That's better, thanks.
Especially disinterested.

The truth, as you know, is that Jesus values the interests of all humankind.

A day is coming when...

Everyone who has knees to bow and a tongue to speak, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (in the realm of the dead), will whole-heartedly, and without reservation, acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. No one can say that “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” you will be saved. Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. (the reason for the bodily resurrection) Scriptural support below.

Philippians 2:10-11
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

1 Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says,
“Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 14:9
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that
he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Note on "acknowledge" in Philippians 2:11 from Strong's Concordance
S1843 eksomologéō (from 1537 /ek, "wholly out from," intensifying 3670 /homologéō, "say the same thing about") – properly, fully agree and to acknowledge that agreement openly (whole-heartedly); hence, to confess ("openly declare"), without reservation (no holding back).

Incompetent is also fitting. They DO believe that Jesus is INCAPABLE of persuading all beings to follow him.

Incompetent:
not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully.
I contend that anyone who claims to hate Jesus hasn't met him yet.
In person, he is irresistible.

This view stands in stark contrast to the "angry Jesus" opinion held by much of the church.
I saw a bumper sticker once that read:

JESUS IS COMING!
And boy is he pissed

I actually laughed. Because the author of the sticker was making fun of the typical view.

Hmmmm. We see how the religious leaders responded to Jesus. We see how Lucifer responded to Jesus.
I guess that's the unanswerable mystery.....how one can hate 'irresistible' love.

These have both seen Jesus and hated both him and his Father

John 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

And without a cause did they hate him

John 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

Jesus says much concerning them as well.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

They didn't see Jesus in all his glory.

The word 'glory' is used to describe his nature/ character....generous, forgiving, inclusive, patient. Here are some scriptures where it is used,

John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 2:11
This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

Exodus 33:18
18 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”

19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion...'

Exodus 34:5-7
5 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished;...'

Here is what i do know .
A real nasty delusion has been unleashed in full upon this last hour generation .
And the deceived of all tribes , all them false religions and even many within christendom itself
ARE ALL BUYING INTO ITS BIG OL sin accepting broad path LOVE they THINK BE OF GOD .
WHEN IT IS CLEARLY OF that which is of anti christ .
Flapping its lips saying THIS IS THE WAY to attain peace n safety , enter ye into the interfaith finding common ground
IT CRIES as do its men . OH but seeing it is of anti christ
and many anti christs do its work and all seem to be beleiving this is the path to peace n safety
SURE DOES BRING SOME CLARITY all right .
And what CLARITY is it i speak of you might ask .
WHY THANKS For asking . NO WONDER PAUL SAID FOR WHEN THEY SHALL say PEACE N SAFETY
SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMETH UPON THEM ALL and they shall NOT escape .
THIS JUNKS OF ANTI CHRIST and it has TROD JESUS RIGHT UNDER FOOT . no wonder . WELL here it comes .
99% of all religion on earth is false=99% of all religion claiming to be Christian as well. 99% minimum on earth are being mislead to destruction.( Luke 17:26)--satan does it like this-2Cor 11:12-15)

What sort of monster would create such a thing? The most sadist tyrant imaginable.
You're calling God of the Bible a monster and tyrant? Judgment Day will be fascinating!

Hebrews 10:31
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

What sort of monster would create such a thing? The most sadist tyrant imaginable.

How does it work and what is the purpose?
There is no purpose other than eternal torment on the grandest scale.
We have all experienced a burn at some point in our lives.

If we touch the stove. We immediately removed our hand,
And learned an important lesson. NEVER touch the stove.
How long did that take?

We are also familiar with the burn ward at the hospital.
Severe burn victims are treated there. Recovery is horrible.
Requiring skin grafts and a slow and painful healing process.

Yet no human has fallen into a volcano (lake of fire) and survived.
Is this what God has planned for those who refuse the free gift of eternal life?
Seems pretty harsh. Receive the free gift of eternal life, or if you prefer
you will be incinerated. That is one VERY expensive FREE GIFT.

Imagine being thrown into a volcano. What a horrible thing. But wait...
That's not the end. God has created this lake of fire so that you cannot die.
You will endure this torture for all eternity with no hope of escape.

Your flesh will be burned away only to be replaced with fresh flesh to be burned again and again.
Hard to imagine a more sadistic or cruel punishment for a temporal crime. Justice? Nope.

Couldn't this have been avoided with a simple discussion?
Ten seconds in hell would be enough for anyone to get the message.
