Someone was talking about all the conversations his spirit has with the Spirit of Christ, and once said to Him, "Angels are really smart, aren't they?"
And the Spirit told him, "Yes angels really are smart."
The problem with speaking with spirits, is that we are to prove them by truth of Scripture, and nowhere does Scripture say angels are really smart.
In fact, it's the angels that desire to know what we know as saved souls with the mind of Christ:
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Angels aren't so smart, and some of them are liars and devils.
I'm thinking that getting all caught up in conversational spirit-speak becomes angel worship, especially when the spirit boasts about how smart they are:
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.
