What is it by saying that a person is born again?

What is it by saying that a person is born again? Could it mean that as the scripture reveals that in John 3:3-8.?

John 8 absolutely reveals what it means. It is not an earthly birth, but a Spiritual one.

I John 2:29
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.

When Adam ate of the tree of knowledge, he died spiritually that day. God had told him he would and since he lived several hundred years before he died physically it had to be a spiritual death.

When Jesus came he taught that one must be born again. Since he was again talking to humans, they could not understand it in the flesh. Of course Jesus was speaking about getting back the spiritual life that Adam had lost and others never had.

We also know this because Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world. If not this natural world then it has to be a spiritual world.

When something agrees with God's word then it is true.
