Let's keep it real.
You say, Progressive sancification, and, at least as you've explained things to me in the past,
God leaves us poor and blind and naked, His children, mind you, miserable and wretched, until we, His born again redeemed, until we can admit how miserable we really are, and stop lying to ourselves, and THEN Jesus will "really" come in, and we'll know, because we'll walk the streets healing with our shadow, and speaking great words of prophecy and power.
Have I got this wrong? Or is is this what you've said?
I say, we are born again a new and righteous child of God. And what you call "progressive sanctification" the Bible calls renewing the mind, which involves discipline, and discipling us. We learn His word, and we get to know Him. And as this happens God trains us to live as the new people we are. We work together with Him, being His children. He will never abandon us, being our Father.
You continually misprepresent my teaching.
I've just encapsulated it for you. Can you repeat my view back to me in your own words so I can know you understand it?
When We are not saved we are sinful and children of the Devil, when we are born again we have to put away those sinful mindsets and habits Before Jesus can manifest in us fully. This is the work of the Holy Ghost in us, not our work, it is a gift of the Holy Ghost, and one that you should earnestly seek for there is not only atonement for sin there but victory. Our blindness, and our nakedness and our wretchedness comes from our old man which we have to put off, in order to put on the new man. All I am saying is that this is a lifetime process not a one time deed. It is a Father showing his Love for His children by disciplining and rebuking them to show them that they are not a Bastard child. (Revelation 3:19)
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected
us, and we gave
them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened
us after their own pleasure;
but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. (Hebrews 12:7-11)
Do You understand what it takes for a fallen sinful Human to become a partaker in HIS HOLINESS? Partaker literally means to be made a partner of. None of us worthy of this, all of us are wretched in this respect, and this is why the awe of the Holiness of God is what is missing in your theology. I think that is about to change because I see he is now working in you.
From the others posts you have written here, it sounds like the LORD has been disciplining you of late, so I do not wish to press this further. You may not understand this in the terms that i do and will undoubtedly have your own language to express this, But suffice it to say, His discipline is a blessing as it is his love expressed for you, which comes from much prayer and supplication resulting from our conversations.
A word of warning: Beware of the devil's wiles, for he will attack you by befriending you, and praising you so that you get puffed up.
