Before I deal with the horn of the goat, I'd like to briefly recap on something from the image of Daniel 2 and stress something that is very important. What we know of the image is that there are just 4 kingdoms or empires from the beginning of Babylon to the second coming. These four are destroyed by the rock of Christ at His coming. That means 2 things.
This is a deviation from the text. The Second Coming does not destroy the image. The first coming is the rock that was cut out, and it grew until it destroyed the image at the ten toes.

"Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces."

"And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."

The ten toes are the 5th Kingdom left in the destruction of western Rome. Eastern Rome was not even based in Rome. So there was a 5th kingdom that was part Rome, but was not the Rome of the 4th kingdom. The church started to grow during the 4th kingdom and the image was totally destroyed by the time of the Reformation, that also saw the demise of the 5th kingdom. The 6th kingdom was not even mentioned in Daniel at all. Daniel only covered the first 5 kingdoms at best.

Daniel does not go all the way to the Second Coming as pertaining to the image of Daniel 2. Daniel may cover the 6th kingdom but not as part of the image.

Because John covers all 6 kingdoms does not necessarily mean the first 5 had any influence at all. In fact John wrote the first five had fallen. Not in the first century, but in covering the the point in relationship to the Second Coming. Revelation 17:9-10

"And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space."

So this is Jerusalem in relation to Babylon, the Medes and Persians, Greece, Rome, and the ten toes. All 5 fallen in the past. The 6th one brings us to the Second Coming.

The other is not yet come, and when He cometh, He must continue a short space. John is referring here to the Second Coming, and the point that Jesus is declared King at the 7th Trumpet.

Because there is an 8th kingdom that John is witness to. This 8th kingdom is one of the 7 heads. That means the 7th Kingdom is not one of the heads of the dragon, the beast out of the sea, nor this scarlet colored beast.

This means John is not writing about the first century in Revelation at all. John starts in chapter 4 about events that happen during the 6th kingdom. This kingdom that may or may not be covered in Daniel at all. The little horn in Daniel is Antiochus Epiphanes. He may be a prototype of antichrist, but there have been many antichrist since Antiochus Epiphanes.

All we are told about the 8th kingdom is that it involves 10 kings who do not even have kingdoms. They are leaders representing 10 regions, but are not the actual leaders of those regions.

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."

This is one of those cases where Satan promises these 10 leaders they will receive a promise, if they do his bidding, but that promise is never realized. These kings are destroyed at Armageddon. They do not get their kingdoms as they are dead.

We should know that Satan is the 8th kingdom, and the beast of perdition.

No one teaches that Jesus has already set up a kingdom prior to Satan's 8th kingdom. Satan's mystery Babylonian kingdom that will only last for a short 42 months. Revelation 13, 17, and 18 covers this 8th kingdom. That is when the FP and this AC, people try to interpret out of Daniel, takes place, after the 7th Trumpet has already sounded, and only if God extends time, past the cut off point mentioned in Revelation 10.

Now at the Second Coming, Satan does revive the 6th kingdom. That is the head miraculously restored. But not even to the glory of Rome. Certainly not to the technology of today. People tend to downplay what actually happens at the 5th and 6th Seal being opened, nor interpret them correctly.

The person is not a Christian. He has to be a Jew, who in Isaiah 14:18-20, destroys his land and his people. He has to be a Jew for the Jews to believe that he is their long awaited messiah. He has to be a Jew to confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant of Daniel 9:27 as required by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:9-13 for 7 years.
Those 7 years are a hoax. A lie. The 70 weeks of Daniel 9 are already completed. The covenant was already confirmed by their Messiah. 3 and a half years personally, them 3 and a half years by the apostles. That completed the final 7. The stoning of Steven by the Sanhedrin was Israel's last act of defiance against that covenant...from that time forth the mantle of responsibility for showing forth God's glory and righteousness to the world passed on to the church.

What covenant was Daniel praying about in Daniel 9:4 ?

4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

Yes, God keeps His promises... Covenants. But covenants are two way agreements. A covenant is broken if one party reneged on their part of the bargain, regardless of the faithfulness of the other party. Israel failed on their part. Abysmally and repeatedly.

Shortly after the stoning of Stephan, Saul was converted and preached to the Gentiles. It fits the prophecy.

You may also notice that whatever that covenant was, it was conditional on the obedience and faithfulness of the other party.
The blessing and a curse, right ? Depending upon obedience to the covenant.

In Ezekiel 39:28, Jesus at His Second Coming, brings all of the house of Israel back to the land of Israel - as promised in the Mt. Sinai covenant, in Deuteronomy 30:

Deuteronomy 30:

1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Now look at Matthew 24:31, same type of language...

Matthew 24:

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That verse is not talking about the rapture, but the promise God made to the children of Israel under the Mt. Sinai covenant.

The new covenant in Christ replaces the sacrifices of animals for atonement for sins which was a temporary measure until Christ came. Other parts of the Mt. Sinai covenant regarding promises that God made are still in effect.

The NT elect is/are the Church.

Only the children of Israel who are in the Church through faith in Christ are part of the NT elect.

Romans 8:33
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Colossians 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Titus 1:1
Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1 Peter 5:13
The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

27 to 34 is 8 years not 7. This would be based on same month of each year. Even adjusting that to distant months still results in over 7 years.

count:

1. 27
2. 28
3. 29
4. 30
5. 31
6. 32
7. 33
8. 34

Now, if each starting month was something like June, then 6 months in the first and last month could result in a total of 7 years within the 8 calendar years but that would require exact knowledge of those starting and ending months.

Not to detract from the rest of your post, well said, IMO, I've never noticed before this part,

the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart

Which seems to me parallel to,

Isaiah 59:21 KJV
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Much love!

Because Satan's 8th empire, rises up, after Jesus is declared King of the 7th empire at the 7th Trumpet. If there is an 8th empire, it happens 3.5 days after the 7th Trumpet sounds. So the 7th Kingdom will only last 3.5 days, and then God will allow Satan his 8th Kingdom slot.

It is not a surprise to God. It is God deciding if Satan gets this 8th kingdom or not. If Satan does not get to sit on the throne, in the temple in Jerusalem, there will never be an AoD nor 42 months in which humans will be beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and the Word of God. No one will receive the mark. No one will still be alive in Adam's dead corruptible flesh, by the time the 7th Trumpet stops sounding.

So this is not some over time "rising up" that takes every one by surprise, even God. This 42 months is not of human effort, is my point.

People have, in modern times, since the Reformation viewed the Second Coming as the ultimate end of everything about this creation, because post Millennial thought pervaded the church. The Second Coming is not in Revelation 19. Revelation 19 is just one of two outcomes per the confirmation of the Atonement Covenant in Daniel 9:27.

The other outcome of the confirmation of the Atonement Covenant is that there is no 42 months given to Satan, and when the 7th Trumpet stops sounding, the Day of the Lord will begin, with Satan bound in the pit for a thousand years, and not sitting on a throne for 42 months. So in the time of the Reformational thought, Satan was already in the pit, and any authority given to him was after the Day of the Lord. The Second Coming would be the ultimate end. But the reformers were just as wrong as the Catholics, and that preterism or futurism started then, is not even relevant.

The 6 seals had not been opened at the point of the Reformation, so all of Revelation including the 6 Seals were still future. The church already saw that as fulfilled, as the main driving force of the Reformation was that the popes were the antichrist, and Revelation was already being fulfilled. All Preterist thought did was shift the church's error to those living in the first century. All futurism did was take the focus off of the present Reformation situation. But all was still in the future, so being a futurist was still the only correct view of Revelation because both the Reformers and the Catholics were wrong. Both sides were partial preterist already. They did what people do today and relate their world with the words in the book of Revelation. Every generation has done that, no? Even if someone was told by God that the Seals were currently being opened, no one would believe them, because there are literally 2 millennia of people who thought that.

Both Preterism and Futurism are Jesuit constructs to deflect the clear outline of who the anti Christ entity is which the prophecy pointed to and everyone recognized as the Papacy, this is why you have gotten confused in your interpretation of what the scripture shows..

I know the above posts are lengthy. But I believe you are sincerely interested in project and truth, therefore I felt it my obligation to share my view in full. I would be disappointed if you didn't read it on account of its length. Happy to discuss any disagreements you might have regarding its historical veracity.
Greetings Brakelite...

No worries about length for me...thank you for sharing. Some of those things popped out at me provoking deeper thought and I would like to discuss it.

Gimmie some time to read through it again...did you write a book?

Redd...:)

Those 7 years are a hoax. A lie. The 70 weeks of Daniel 9 are already completed.
If that were true, then it would make Lord Jesus into an 'antichrist', because the Daniel 9:27 event of the final 70th week is about a false one ending Jerusalem sacrifices AND setting up an IDOL abomination in false worship...

Dan 9:27
27 The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds,
he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him."
NLT

Jesus made NO covenant for a 7 year period either. The New Covenant was the ONLY Covenant He offered, which is forever.

So why do you listen to those who LIE to you about that Scripture?

My post had nothing to do with preterist, futurist, nor historist theology, but the Word of God. Perhaps you are too confused with human theology? The 5th kingdom was a kingdom influenced by the papacy, if you understood history. But that kingdom is dead and gone. The 6th kingdom has had a mortal wound since it started, just waiting for Satan to step in and heal that wound. You can try to fit Daniel into the last 500 plus years all you want, and then give it some theological label.

The 7th Kingdom will not start until the 7th Trumpet sounds.

Still not correct per Scripture though.

The 6th beast existed in Apostle John's day, and was the pagan Roman emperor Domitian.

The 7th beast king is for the very end of this present world, for the time of "great tribulation" at the end. This will be the "dragon" himself.

The 8th beast king is for the end of Christ's future "thousand years" reign, for when Satan is loosed from his pit prison after the 1,000 years, to go tempt the nations to go up against the "camp of the saints" one earth. (Rev.20).

This is a biased theological translation from the opinion of the translators.

"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Confirm means to strengthen, not make a treaty. A treaty is man made opinion. A Covenant is an agreement. A treaty is an agreement. What Covenant is being strengthened? A Covenant already in place by the maker, which is the Messiah. This week is not "of years". This week is "of days". This week in Daniel 9:27 is the days of the 7th Trumpet. Because Revelation 10 explains time is up for the mystery that is related to Daniel 9.

And it is the Atonement Covenant that is confirmed at the 7th Trumpet. This Covenant is extended to those who will be beheaded, if Satan is allowed 42 months to set up the AoD. There is no point of Salvation after the 7th Trumpet sounds. Only those beheaded will be redeemed, at the moment they chop their head off.

The Atonement of the Cross will be taken away. No one will live in sinful flesh as redeemed. It will be either the mark and removed from the Lamb's book of life. Or literal physical death at the moment one chops their head off. Being beheaded is the only means of salvation. No one will hide from God as redeemed in Adam's corruptible flesh.

It is you who call Jesus an antichrist. Not that we are calling some antichrist, Jesus. Your translation is biased to teach the falsehood of the left behind theological viewpoint. You may be post trib, but your ideology is still including being left on earth with some AC made up human concoction.

(Rev.20).
All human speculation. The first 5 beasts are the kingdoms in Daniel 2. Rome was the 4th kingdom in the first century. The 5th kingdom did not even start until around 400AD until the Reformation. The first 6 beasts are not human individuals. The heads of the dragon are not individuals. The heads of the sea beast are not individuals. The horns of the scarlet beast are individuals, but the heads are not. The only head that is an individual is Satan. Satan is one of the heads, but the 8th kingdom.

The dragon, the sea beast, and the scarlet beast all represent the same historical relationship Satan has with human government, starting with Babylon. The Medes and Persians came next, then Greece, then Rome. Then the Holy Roman Empire under the influence of the papacy. Then the 6th kingdom is the aftermath of the Reformation. The 6th kingdom is not even mentioned in Daniel 2, because the church filled the earth at the point of the Reformation, and no single world control was realized, except when England was a strong Christian nation, and then the US. Neither are strong Christian nations today. Nor would either be considered as the 6th Kingdom.

In Revelation 12, the dragon was introduced in relationship to Israel. In Revelation 13, we see how Satan always wanted, but never had total control of the earthly kingdoms. In Revelation 17, we see how Jerusalem plays the harlot along with this beast's political system.
