PART I

The book of Daniel has three major portions in chapters 7, 8, and 11 (Dan 7:8;19-25; 8:3-25; 11:21-45 KJV) devoted to the Little Horn, which means that he is a very significant figure in Bible prophecy. He is none other than the Antichrist (the Beast, the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition). While many have tried to make the Pope and the Papacy the Antichrist, that is simply not true. He will be a renegade Jew with full access to the future temple in Jerusalem (which is strictly for Jews). He will present himself as the true Messiah (for unbelieving Jews) and/or the true Mahdi (for Muslims). For the rest of the world, he will claim to be the Savior of the world.

Daniel’s visions and Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams show us a succession of empire (Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and Rome in the last days), which will culminate in the future worldwide empire of the Antichrist. In chapter 8 he is seen coming out of the former Grecian empire, in Daniel 11 he is seen as coming out of the succeeding Seleucid empire, and in Daniel 7 he is seen as coming out of the succeeding Roman empire, and its future manifestation (the European Union).

Within these visions, we see the unique characteristics of the Antichrist, as well as his beginning and his end. New Testament prophecies confirm what is revealed in the book of Daniel. And what is in Daniel will be simply combined to show continuity.

How do we know that the Little Horn is none other than the Antichrist ? The key fact is that he is the Arch Blasphemer of God and Christ. All these Scriptures say the same thing: And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Rev 13:6) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thess 2:4) And he shall speak great words against the most High... (Dan 7;25) And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them...Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host... And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Dan 8:10,11,25) And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. (Dan 11:36-38)

1.
The Little Horn is (a) a man (b) who has a mouth which speaks *great things*, and (c) whose appearance is greater than any of his contemporaries: I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things... And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows... And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

2.
He will reveal himself at the culmination of the Great Apostasy: And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be... And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

3.
He will be a very fierce man who dabbles in the occult: And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up... Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

PART II

4.
He will have tremendous power on earth for 3 ½ years, but that power will actually be that of Satan: And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people... And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

5.
He will be a king (or political-cum-religious leader) who exceeds the powers of all human kings, and even challenges the angels (the host of heaven) and God: And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land... And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them...

6. He will be an extremely crafty and deceitful person, who will make a false covenant of peace with Israel: And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries... And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand... and by peace shall destroy many... And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits... And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

7.
He will shut down the daily sacrifices in the future temple at Jerusalem, in order to desecrate the sanctuary by setting up the Abomination of Desolation:. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down... And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered...And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate...And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Dan 9:27)

8.
Because of him the temple at Jerusalem will remain defiled for six years and over six months: Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

9.
He will make war with the saints and prevail: I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them... And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (3 1/2 years)

10.
The Antichrist and his kingdom will be utterly destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ at His Second Coming: ...he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand... And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant... And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

... the Little Horn ...
I believe you may have missed that there are TEN "little horns", and an ELEVENTH:

Dan. 7:8 I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, ...

20 and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up and before which three of them fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and which seemed greater than its fellows.

It's hard to believe that people would prefer to display their ignorance, versus of simply discovering the TRUTH.

The Little Horn Of Daniel 7
This Revelation Timeline Decoded Bible study focuses on the Little Horn of Daniel 7.

After the last Roman Emperor was removed in 476 A.D., the Roman Empire split into 10 civil kingdoms. Then Satan caused the Roman Catholic Church, the Little Horn of Daniel, to rise to power. They caused three of the kingdoms to be plucked out, as they would not bow down to their authority.

Daniel 7:7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns“

Greece was defeated by Rome, the fourth beast of Daniel 7, the dreadful and terrible beast that trampled everything in its path, including the Jews and Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538 A.D. when Emperor Justinian gave them power over all churches; until 1798 A.D., when the Pope was taken captive and imprisoned, where he later died.

The Little Horn Of Daniel 7
agreeable on the man of sin

And that to me was the Rev.13 Beast from the Sea.
42 months = 1260 days = a year for a day = 1,260 years - history fulfilled

Prophetic time = Numbers 14:34 (KJV)
34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

How can the "man of sin" be comparable to the Rev.13:1 first beast that comes up out of the sea, having ten horns, seven heads, and ten crowns? That first beast out of the sea represents Antichrist's kingdom. It's the "another beast" of Rev.13:11 that is the "little horn" of Dan.7. The only Rev.13:1 link is just the idea of horns which per Rev.17 represents kings.

The "little horn" of Daniel 7 represents a king, the final one we are shown in Rev.17:8-13 for the very end of this world.

Is the Anti-Christ in the Iron Kingdom Rome ?

No. There is no such thing Biblically as a revived Roman empire. That is a misinterpretation from Daniel 2.

Dan 2:32-35
32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
KJV

A revived Roman empire is the supposition of those who interpret that phrase in red, "his feet part of iron" as being linked to the "legs of iron" which did represent the old pagan Roman empire.

I'm not saying Rome can't be part of the coming 1st beast kingdom of Rev.13:1. It's simply not going to be the head.

Daniel 2 is revealing a 5th beast. It is the feet part of the statue, made of iron mixed with clay. It will support all the other beast pieces, pointing to a one-world beast kingdom over all nations for the end of this world. It is what some men call a "one world government."

It is not Rome, nor the EU. Rome is not divided in power over ten kings, nor is the EU. The Trilateral plan is 3 world unions like the EU. The EU from the Atlantic to the Urals, an American union, and an Asian-Pacific union. A tri-parte world.

Dan 2:42-43
42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

KJV

The ten horns (kings) point to those who mingle themselves with the seed of men. That's pointing to Satan's host of angels that are cast down with him by Archangel Michael for the end of this world (Rev.12:7-9). Our Lord Jesus foretold us that the end would be like the days of Noah, and that was the main event in the days of Noah, i.e., the "sons of God" taking wives of the daughters of men. Obviously, God's Word is pointing to something much, much more deceptive than just some papery idea.

I thought it is well understood that the 4th beast in Daniel 7 is the Iron Kingdom .
Daniel two The iron Kingdom has gotten weaker in its last days in the feet time. This part is just to show it was going to be partly broken kingdom.
Reading Dan.7 the 4th Beast is the last until before the bringing in of God's Kingdom.
So there is no Anti-Christ person you are talking about, But there is a little horn man that has become a mouth speaking Liar.
That mouth came from Rome . Its the Iron Kingdom only no others are going to sneak in.
The Revive or wounded Beast healed will be the Iron Kingdom still, on its last leg and will been destroyed.
The Image will finally come down by the little stone.

The little horn was history and will rise again with 10 kings to give its power to it Rev.17
Rev. 17 the one that "is" in John's was Caesar Rome that was Iron for sure.
The next that came was still Iron, Holy Roman Empire RCC, with its Little horn mouth speaking with authority.
The Eighth is of the seven, not a head on the beast because it is already there but comes back to strenght. Still Iron.
Iron Kingdom been around for along time and is still here.
Will come to the end this time coming, by the stone.

Hey Davy,
Ummmmm, I hope you're aware that there are TEN Little Horns, and an ELEVENTH:

Dan. 7:20 and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up and before which three of them fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and which seemed greater than its fellows.
All Eleven are Little Horns, and after the U.N. is destroyed (the "dreadful" Beast), the three superpowers shall continue for a "time and a season" until they're converted into the Millennial Kingdom:

Dan. 7:12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

Thanks,
Bobby Jo

In Dan.2 we're given 5 parts to the beast statue, and that 5th one is to be manifest when Jesus (The Stone not cut out with hands) comes to smite it upon its feet and the whole statue comes tumbling down. So in Dan.2, the 5th part of the statue is the last kingdom when Christ comes to end the beast. In Dan.7, the 4th beast is indeed linked to the feet of mixed iron/clay which is the 5th part of the statue. Because of the Roman empire, a pagan empire, has been linked to the "legs of iron" 4th part of the statue (which I agree), and the "great iron teeth" of the 4th beast of Dan.7, some have thought that means the Roman empire is going to be revived for the end (which I don't agree). Preterists and Historicists tend to treat the beast of Revelation as being the old Roman empire, and Dan.7 as history, so that's even worse scholarship in my opinion.

Per Rev.13, the beast kingdom has "seven heads", just as the one in Rev.12 also had. One of its seven heads suffers a deadly wound that is healed, and the "another beast" represents the one who will heal it, when he comes. That 2nd beast, the "another beast" at Rev.13:11 forward is the coming Antichrist/false Messiah. He is going to appear in Jerusalem per our Lord Jesus and Apostle Paul, not Rome. No pope can exalt himself as God in Jerusalem, sitting in a new temple the Jews will build there for the end. The orthodox Jews would never accept a Christian pope as Messiah. So let's not even go there, for that is ludicrous, and goes totally against what is written in God's Word. Thus one of the seven heads that suffers a deadly wound is not involving Rome, but Jerusalem...

Rev.17 tells us the "seven heads" represent "seven mountains" on which the woman sits (a "great city"). Some Christian leaders have associated that with Rome, called the city of "seven hills". We can find many Bible commentaries also following that idea. Yet Jerusalem also... has seven hills, however, hills around a city is NOT the real meaning of the "seven mountains" of Rev.17 for the heads. If it meant simply seven hills around a city, then the "woman" would not sit upon the "many waters" per Rev.17:1, which Rev.17:15 tells us the waters are... "peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues." So the seven mountains represent nations upon the earth, not hills, and Rev.13:3-8 told us the whole world will worship the dragon, pointing basically to the whole earth being those "seven heads".

Was the deadly wound possibly way in the past, and way before pagan Rome even? Yes! Like I showed before in Rev.12 in my posts, the ten horned, seven crowned, seven headed beast of Rev.12:3 was when the red dragon first rebelled against God in the time of old, which is when Satan also drew his angels into rebellion with him. That was long, long before Rome ever existed.

The warnings for the end of this world about the coming Antichrist/false Messiah/man of sin/little horn/vile person, etc., involve the 2nd beast of Rev.13:11 who appears with two horns LIKE The Lamb (i.e., Jesus), the pseudo-Christ of Matt.24:23-26 that places the abomination idol in Jerusalem in the temple to desolate it, and the false one sitting in a literal temple in Jerusalem per 2 Thess.2 claiming he is God, and all those while working great signs and miracles in Jerusalem.

Rev 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

KJV

That is about Satan, the dragon himself, for only he and his angels have be sentenced so far to perish in the future "lake of fire" event. He will be that "another beast", a 2nd beast of Rev.13. He once "was", in the sense that his original rebellion in coveting God's Throne involved a similar beast system that had ten horns, seven heads, but only seven crowns (per Rev.12:3-4). That "is not" meaning is about God having destroyed Satan's rebellion in the world of old, prior to Adam and Eve. That "shall ascend out of the bottomless pit" is when he will come as the dragon at the end, and as the 2nd beast of Rev.13 causing the whole world to worship him, which is for the last days just before Jesus returns.

Rev 17:11-14
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
KJV

Per the above, the ten kings must all be present for the very end when our Lord Jesus returns. There is no double application of those ten kings back in history, and then again for the end. Christ's Revelation reveals they are for the very end only. The "little horn" is the Antichrist for the end, just as the "vile person" of Dan.11 is also. Dan.7:11 even shows us the "little horn" is given to the burning flame, which again points directly to Satan, because only he and his angels have already been judged and sentenced to perish in the future "lake of fire". And per Dan.7:21-22, the "little horn" makes war with the saints and prevails against them until Christ comes, which is specifically about the very end of this world also, and not the historical Roman empire. Reason is, is because Rev.13 & 17 directly parallel the events of the coming Antichrist, the ten horns being those who only appear at the end and reign "one hour" with the beast, and will perish with the beast when Jesus returns.

So really, Rev.17 & 13 puts a huge monkey wrench in men's traditions about the beast kingdom for the end being a revived Roman empire.

The act of exalting oneself in place of GOD, to cause all the world to worship a false one instead, and exalting oneself over all that is even called God or that is worshipped, that... is the original sin that Satan did in the beginning. That is the sin the Antichrist is coming to do in the last days when Jesus returns to end it. The world has already had past history examples of flesh kings that tried to build a one-world beast kingdom over all nations, and exalt themselves on a throne proclaiming to be God. But they could not work great signs and wonders, raining fire down from heaven upon the earth in the sight of men to prove they were God. Those old beast kingdoms were destroyed by our Heavenly Father, just as Satan's original rebellion was also. This final beast kingdom is reserved for Satan himself, again trying to do what all flesh beast kingdoms of the past failed at. And our Heavenly Father is going to allow him to do it just for a little while (tribulation time); it will do some pruning upon those who fall for the "strong delusion" that's coming to Jerusalem, not Rome.

Consider this:

Rev 17:8-14
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

That particular "beast" is Satan, the dragon. No flesh man will ascend out of the bottomless pit, not even metaphorically, that idea isn't written. But we are specifically told two of his titles dealing with his future perishing in the lake of fire per Rev.9:11. Those who cannot grasp this that will behold him will instead wonder at that beast, meaning those who names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. He was (original rebellion of old), and is not (God ended his rebellion of old), and yet is (he will be the Antichrist that's to come at the very end of this world).

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

I covered this already in a previous post. Again, the seven heads are seven mountains which represent regions of the earth, encompassing the waters of Rev.17:1 & Rev.17:15. It is NOT... about seven hills of a city.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

The 7 kings represent beast kings of past history, and of the future. Five beast kings were already past in John's day (Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Egypt, Grecia). The beast king that was in John's day when given Revelation, was the Roman emperor Domitian. The other one that was not yet come is the 7th, the coming Antichrist at the end of this present world, and he must reign only a short space (great tribulation).

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

This beast that was, and is not, again is about Satan. He is the future 8th king, which will involve his final deception after Christ's future "thousand years" reign of Rev.20. It is then that he (Satan) will go into perdition of the "lake of fire".

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

These ten horns (kings) don't come to power until the beast king (Antichrist) above comes to power. These are the same ten horns of Dan.7, a prophecy set for the end of this world, and not back in history. The "one hour" represents the shortened time of great tribulation our Lord Jesus warned us about for the very end of this world.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

These ten kings will serve the Antichrist, the 2nd beast of Rev.13, a beast king. Dan.7 says this beast king ("little horn") will come up among the ten and subdue three of the ten kings. (I believe this Dan.7 idea of 'plucked up' is actually about a ruling hierarchy, like a pyramid - the Antichrist at the top, three of the kings as rulers over a tri-parte divided earth, and each one of the remaining seven ruling over one of seven continents.)

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
KJV

That sets the time when these ten horns will manifest for the end of this world when the false Messiah comes to Jerusalem to exalt himself as God.

. the 5th part of the statue is the last kingdom when Christ comes to end the beast. In Dan.7, the 4th beast is indeed linked to the feet of mixed iron/clay which is the 5th part of the statue. ...
Hey Davy,
Now I know that many people have problems with simple math, and I didn't think you were so affected, but your statement appears to lead to that conclusion.

You apparently state that the Statue is FIVE, (for which Jesus smites the FIFTH Empire), and then link it to the Chapter 7 FOUR. And although I'd be reluctant to challenge your math, I WOULD be very appreciative in having you explain to my creditors how I was going to pay FOUR, and receive credit for FIVE! So if you would call Chase Manhattan on my behalf, I would be eternally grateful. :)

Ref. Dan. 2:45 ... the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold ... = 4,5,3,2,1 = FIVE

FIVE ≠ FOUR

Is the Anti-Christ in the Iron Kingdom Rome ?

No. The Antichrist which Apostle John said shall come has not come yet today.

1 John 2:18
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

KJV

They had already heard that the antichrist shall come, but heard it from where?

From here...

John 14:30
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me.

KJV

John 12:31
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

KJV

Rev 12:7-9
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
KJV

That casting out has not officially taken place yet. It will happen to cause the time of "great tribulation" for the end of this world. The first two Scriptures those John spoke to already heard about. The Rev.12 Scripture they didn't yet know, and by that our Lord Jesus further revealed what He was pointing to in John 12:31 and John 14:30.

PART II

The Roman Catholic system matches as hand in glove.

Hey Davy,
Ummmmm, I hope you're aware that there are TEN Little Horns, and an ELEVENTH:

Thanks,
Bobby Jo

Yes, if we count the "little horn" that comes up among the other ten, then there's a total of 11. Same thing in Rev.17. They are not all called little horns though. Only the one horn that comes up among them to rule over them is the "little horn", pointing to the Antichrist for the end.

I see the following events in succession, the beast slain of Rev.19:20, and the kings of the earth being thrown into the pit along with Satan during Christ's future "thousand years" reign of Rev.20.

Dan 7:11-12
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
KJV

Here's another example:

Isa 24:20-23
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
KJV
