What's up with the following? Below is an article from the Russian Orthodox Church's website of The Department of External Church Relations. Why isn't this been reported in major U.S. news outlets, like Fox, CNN, etc.?

WORLD SUMMIT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS
July 3 – 5, 2006, Moscow
MESSAGE

We, participants in the World Summit of Religious Leaders – heads and delegates of Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and Shinto religious communities in 49 countries, met in Moscow on the eve of the Group of Eight Summit. Having at length discussed issues of mutual concern, we now appeal to the heads of states, to our religious communities and to all people of good will.

We believe that the human person is religious by nature. Since the dawn of history, religion has played the key role in the development of thought, culture, ethics and the social order. With the ever growing role of faith in contemporary society, we want religion to continue being a solid foundation for peace and dialogue amongst civilizations, and not to be used as a source of division and conflict. Religion has the potential to bind together diverse peoples and cultures despite our human fragility, particularly in today’s context of plurality and diversity.

Human life is a gift of the Almighty. Our sacred duty is to preserve it, and this should be the concern of both religious communities and political leaders.

Dialogue and partnership among civilizations should not just be slogans. We need to build a world order which combines democracy – as the way of harmonizing different interests and as people’s participation in national and global decision-making – and respect to the moral feeling, way of life, various legal and political systems, and national and religious traditions of people. Comprehensive, just and durable solutions of international disputes should be reached by peaceful means. We reject double standards in international relations. The world should have many poles and many systems, meeting the requirements of all individual and nations rather than matching lifeless and oversimplified ideological patterns.

The human being is the Creator’s unique creation whose existence reaches into eternity. Humans should not become either a commodity or an object of political manipulation or an element of the production and consumption machine.

It is, therefore, necessary to assert constantly the highest value of human life from conception to the final breath and natural death. Thus the family needs support today, for it is the privileged context for cultivating the free, intelligent and moral personality. We call for more assistance to the family, particularly in its formative mission by national and international law and the practice of states, various public institutions, religious communities and the mass media. Linked to this is our concern for the status of women and children in many societies. Promoting the unique character of every person, women and men, children and the elderly, as well as people with disabilities, we see that they all have their special gifts. Protecting them from violence and exploitation is a common task for the authorities, the society, and religious communities.

The human being is the supreme creation of the Almighty. Therefore human rights, their protection and respect at the national, regional and international level is an important concern for us. Nevertheless, our experience also shows that without an ethical core, without understanding our duties, no society or country is exempt from conflict and collapse. Sin and vice ruin both the individual and the society. For this reason we are convinced that law and social order should seek to bring together in fruitful harmony a commitment to rights and freedom as well as an awareness of the ethical principles that are constitutive of human living together.

We state the importance of religious freedom in today’s world. Individuals and groups must be immune from coercion. No one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his or her own beliefs in religious matters. It is also necessary to take into account the rights of religious and ethnic minorities.

We condemn terrorism and extremism of any form, as well as attempts to justify them by religion. We consider it our duty to oppose enmity on political, ethnic or religious grounds. We deplore the activities of pseudo-religious groups and movements destroying freedom and health of people as well as the ethical climate in societies. Using religion as a means for rousing hatred or an excuse for crimes against individuals, morality and humanity present a major challenge today. This can be effectively addressed only through education and moral formation. School, mass media, and preaching by religious leaders should return to our contemporaries the full knowledge of their religious traditions which call them to peace and love.

We call for an end to any insult to religious feelings and defilement of texts, symbols, names or places held sacred by believers. Those who abuse sacred things should know that it wounds the hearts and stirs up strife among the people.

Through education and social action, we must reassert sustainable ethical values in the consciousness of people. We believe these values to be given to us by the Almighty and deeply rooted in human nature. They are shared by our religions in many practical ways. We feel responsible for the moral condition of our societies and want to shoulder this responsibility in working together with states and civil associations enabling a life where ethical values are an asset and a source of sustainability.

Human life is also interrelated with economy. International economic order, as all other spheres of global architecture, should be based on justice. All economic and business activities should be socially responsible and carried out using the ethical standards. It is this what makes the economy really efficient, that is, beneficial to the people. A life lived only for financial profit and facilitating production progress becomes barren and meager. Being aware of this, we call on the business community to be open and responsible towards the civil society, including religious communities, at the national and global levels.

It is imperative that all governments and the business community alike be responsible stewards of the resources of our planet. These resources, as given to all generations by the Creator, should be used for the benefit of everyone. All nations have the right to use their resources, sharing them with others, as well as to develop technologies for their effective use and preservation. The responsible distribution of the Earth’s richness, in addition to just international trade and active humanitarian involvement, will help overcome the poverty and hunger suffered by billions of our brothers and sisters. Poverty and social vulnerability become the cause of mass migration generating more and more problems in both poor and rich countries. The concentration of the majority of the world’s wealth in the hands of a few, while an enormous number of people, especially children, live in abject poverty, is a global tragedy. It will most definitely continue to destabilize the world, threatening global peace. We call upon all nations to return to a life of moderation, self-restraint and active justice. This will secure a hopeful future for upcoming generations and effectively function to cut the ground out from under the feet of extremists and terrorists.

Let's do a bit of a breakdown here, find out what our Christian delegates to that Moscow summit have agreed to...

Religious communities in 49 countries, that's speaking for a lot folks isn't it? Good, they're direct to the point in their second paragraph. The use of "religion" is to be the glue for joining the world into a solid foundation for peace, world peace that is. It is not to be used as a "source of division and conflict." And just who... decides that part? They do, of course; they define it. I don't recall their asking my Church if is it was OK for them to define that for us. Note their emphasis on "plurality and diversity". That means tolerance between all religions of the world, regardless if one wants to worship the devil (the Church of Satan is an established recognized church too, believe it or not; not one that I would ever recognize, nor any True Christian would recognize).

What did our Lord Jesus mean about rendering unto Casear what belongs to Casear, and to God of what belongs to God? Are politicians over Christ's Church, or is Christ Jesus over His Own Church? Can't be both ways; can't serve two masters. Don't be fooled, this is New World Order one-world government stuff. It IS a conspiracy against God and man. It's no little thing that those kind of international religious summits are taking place in Moscow. By the way, how many of you want to become members of the Russian Orthodox Church with Moscow as your head?

The human being is the Creator’s unique creation whose existence reaches into eternity. Humans should not become either a commodity or an object of political manipulation or an element of the production and consumption machine.

Not sure if they mean human existence reaches into eternity, or that God's existence does. Shouldn't they have made their meaning of that more plain? Per the grammar, the last phrase must pick the subject of the previous phrase, which is "creation", not "the Creator". The goals of world Communism has never before supported the idea of God, but only the idea of human materialistic existence. I must go with that meaning being their real intention, though they masked it.

Humans shouldn't be subject to political manipulation, nor an element of the "production and consumption machine"? If they actually meant that, then why did they say in their previous paragraph "We need to build a world order which combines democracy"? Building a "world order which combines democracy" IS about politics manipulating the people!!

That last statement in bold is a biggy. Law and social order to bring together commitment to rights and freedom, AS WELL AS AWARENESS of ethical principles. Based on WHO'S source though? This is how the ten toes of the final world beast of part iron and part clay just ain't gonna' jel together. The only way all religions can become tolerant of their different beliefs is to DESTROY SOME OF THE BELIEFS FROM EACH RELIGION. That includes Christian Doctrine too folks. What parts of God's Word do you want to give up brethren in Christ Jesus? And who should decide that for you?

We state the importance of religious freedom in today’s world. Individuals and groups must be immune from coercion. No one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his or her own beliefs in religious matters. It is also necessary to take into account the rights of religious and ethnic minorities.

Immunity from coercion is a vague term. For theocractic Islamic nations like Iran, it means putting to death a Christian who tries to convert a Muslim to Christianity. That means you can't preach The Gospel brethren, that's what it leads to. Not only to those of other religions, but ALSO to "ethnic minorities", which falls under the general categorizations they define. Make no mistake, this is all about giving up our religious freedoms protected by our U.S. Constitution, and their international law overriding it.

This is why a preacher was arrested in California this year for simply 'reading' from The Bible in public, and the arresting officer of the California State Highway Patrol even confiscated his Bible during the arrest! The one-world summit hosts define what is extremism, in any form. That is not just about radical Islam's jihad. And once again, just who defines what are "peudo-religious groups"? What would be their plans for "education and moral formation"? Answer: their international laws, overriding our U.S. Constitution, via schools, MASS MEDIA, and PREACHING BY RELIGOUS LEADERS. Peace, love, dove; sounds like the 1960's Leftist hippie movement all over again. Is preaching that Jesus Christ is the only Way of Salvation an act of peace, love, dove, or it is an act of terrorism and extremism? They'll be the ones to define that, not us. The fact that arrests in the U.S. have already been happening for reading The Bible in public, and courtmartial of a U.S. Navy Chaplain for refused to stop ending his public prayer in Jesus' name should have gotten our attention about this global religious movement by now.

We call for an end to any insult to religious feelings and defilement of texts, symbols, names or places held sacred by believers. Those who abuse sacred things should know that it wounds the hearts and stirs up strife among the people.

Does that mean the orthodox Jews in Jerusalem must stop burning Christian Bibles as they've done in the past decades? Does that mean Islamic leaders will stop doing the same?

Through education and social action, we must reassert sustainable ethical values in the consciousness of people. We believe these values to be given to us by the Almighty and deeply rooted in human nature. They are shared by our religions in many practical ways. We feel responsible for the moral condition of our societies and want to shoulder this responsibility in working together with states and civil associations enabling a life where ethical values are an asset and a source of sustainability.

Sustainability is a word often used in globalist one-world government literature, like 'sustainable development'. It's been applied to global economics, health, etc., and now to religion, the last cog in the New World Order's plan for a one-world government over all nations, and over all peoples. What kind of "social action" do you think they mean, even to use "states and civil associations"? I thought they said at the start they weren't really interested in politics and the state apparatus? They are liars.

Is this the reason why Leftist organizations in America have held the idea that the wealth of Americans needs to be redistributed to poorer nations? It's been going on long before GATT and NAFTA, so can't just blame those policies. You American business folks, forget the idea of your business being profitable; now you must help SUSTAINABILITY for the REST of the world, or you're going to be put out of business. This idea is about world Socialism at its core, World Communism hiding behind it. Their talk is nothing but a mask for their ultimate goal of raping the wealth of the Christian nations, and giving it to their radical followers, which by the way include MANY that refuse to even believe there is a God! They are lying 'in the name of religion'.

This will secure a hopeful future for upcoming generations and effectively function to cut the ground out from under the feet of extremists and terrorists.

In essence, if you seek to gain wealth you are an extremist and a terrorist. The EPA just made a really stupid decision involving usurping of lands in the U.S. to claim it was a swamp with protected species, when it actually turned out to be a simple dirt field with nothing there. Many of the things the EPA does is nothing short of stealing and causing unnecessary costs to close down business, and grab people's property.

The western Christian nations have been propping up the poorer nations of the world throughout their history. Even Communist Russia and Red China would have failed if it weren't for support from the western Christian nations. The U.S. Lend-lease program during WWII practically built Soviet Russia's military and many of its production outlets. And that program continued even for a period AFTER WWII had already ended! It was discovered later that Russia sent some of that U.S. support to Communists in China to fight against Nationalist Chinese (see Skousen's 1958 work The Naked Communist).

If that kind of globalist declaration at an international religious summit in Moscow isn't a sign of a conspiracy against Christ, then I wonder how people that don't believe it would define a conspiracy.

I wouldn't worry about the commies, they havn't been much of a force to be reckoned with since the days of Leonid Breznev (excuse spelling). In the 80s we thought they were a threat but they had no money and it all collapsed in 89-92 because Communism didn't work. Communism didn't work because it was unnatural and was thus doomed to failure. Loo,k how China is being more capitalist. Sure it is a one party state with some seriopus human rights issues but look how it has changed since the 1970s, surely this is a sign that Communism is breaking down because it can't work.

I think China and North Korea are worth keeping an eye on but they are hardly the kind of communists that we were against in the cold war.

Do you think because they are now willing to play the same game of chess with capitalist that makes it OK.
I find the extreme right wing just as dictatorial aggressively radical as the far left rat bags.
I think the Como's maybe just playing a game to destroy the foolish capitalist at there game.
Capitalism, communism, Democracy are all just systems the biggest problem is when foolish people come to idolise them.
Anyone who opposed Jesus Christ is doing the work of the Devil.
Anything else is just invain nonsense dribbled on by stupid foolish idiotic morons that have no right to be in their positions.
There will be Hell to pay !

Who said anything about the extreme right, which I will agree with you are not so different from the commies. Think about it the word Nazi is national socialism, isn't socialism a Marxist word as in Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The YSSR us dead and buried and the kind of Communism that we knew in the 50s is one with it. China and North Korea aren't true Communists any more. China is I will admit is totally undemocratic ut it now has a more capitalist economy and North Korea is completely tyranical, despotic and absolutly round the twist, only sheer madness prevails there. Both have some military threat but no ideological threat. As an idea Communism has no crdability any more because it was a total failure.

There's a movie documentary on YouTube in their 'movies' section about KGB operations in the U.S. in the 1980's. It's shocking for what it reveals of how the U.S. has let its guard down to them.

Something else that is going to shock many true Americans when it is finally revealed. Many of the wealthy in America support Communism, and have had a part in keeping it propped up in those Communist nations. Georgetown University history professor Carrol Quigley slipped up and revealed that in his 1960's word Tragedy And Hope. The publishers broke his contract, and destroyed the publishing plates. Quigley had to sue in the late 1960's to find out why, and remarked that his book must have said something that the "establishment" in America didn't want known.

The idea that the Communist conspiracy ended with the Berlin Wall coming down is propaganda hype.

No offense Templar81, but a lot of that sounds like it's right out of a media propaganda script. There's major blackouts in our media machine about what's really been going on behind the scenes.

Many of America's wealthy capitalists have long supported world Socialism, which is a Communist goal...

It didn't end with the fall of the Berlin wall in 89. It ended before Mikhal Gorbachev came into power. The Russians had huge armed forces that looked impressive parading up and down Red Square but they weren't very well organised or particularly well funded. They had no money in the 80s and they were just a sham, so that if it ever came to a war between the West and the Communist block we would have handed their asses back in a sling because they were incompetant and their political system w totally redundant. So we didn't need to beat them in the field because they fell apart all by themselves.

The whole world has seen how unnatural and ineffective communism is and no body is going to take it seriosuly in the west again.

Do you know that the real threa to Christianity is? Islam, to be a Muslim is to advocate terrorism. In Amerida so many celebreties are converting to Islam and by doing so they are becoming traitors. People like Shaqil O'Neil, Dennis Rodman and Dave Chappel are traitors.

The reason for my posting of that article about internationalist religious summits held in Moscow, with representatives of the religions of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc., is so to be aware of the 'sign' of the end it represents.

The internationalists have already conquered the political arena long ago, and the financial arena, and educational arena. The Reece Committee findings, per Rene Wormser's 1958 book on tax exempt foundations, reveals that hidden structure specifically operating in the U.S. under control and influence by the tax-free foundations, foundations created and operated by internationalists. Wormser got that information found in the Reece Committee hearings out to the public, even though representatives of the tax-free foundations tried their best to stop it. When information of such magnitude importance to all Americans like that gets out, I consider that as a warning from the Hand of God to His people, that is, to those of His people that are listening. It is for a 'sign' to His people.

That article about religious summits in Moscow held by internationalists is no less important, and is a major sign of the last stage of the internationalist's plans for a one-world socialist government over all nations and peoples, that of the arena of Religion.

If one can see how they have joined all nations under a globalist financial system, which is expanding towards a one-world currency situation, and likewise with internationalist politics and education programs administered by the United Nations and World Court system, then it should be pretty easy to see that is the same goal for a one-world Religion also, one which is to include ALL religions within it, just like with the other areas of internationalist influence.

That is the Revelation 13:1 'beast' system working over all nations for the end. It is the locust army controllers our Lord warned us about in the Book of Joel and Revelation 9. God's people should be seeing that in today's internationalist movements, not blind to it.

Who do you think has been actively supporting radical Islamic terrorists? Don't you recall what Russia's navy did when Israel went into Lebanon after Hamas a couple of years ago? Russia's navy anchored in Syria's harbors. Russia sent missles to Lebanonese Islamic terrorists.

Turn off your TV for a while and do some research for yourself. You'll discover most of the Media TV side of things is propaganda.

The Communist International controls the majority of the world's wealth today, it's through internationalists who finance it.

Like I said, I wish you were right. But I well know you are not.

I just don't believe in consiracy theories. Islam however runs rampant and unchallenged throughout the word. Islam acts boldly and does what it wants, it doesn't skulk in the shadows.

Maybe there is aglobal communis agenda, maybe not but at least it isn't threatenning to kill innocent peopl and look at the way our brothers and sisters are being trampled by the Islamic boot in countires like Iraq, Egypt and Sudan. We should concentrate on helping them and standing up to Islam like we did in the days of Richard the Lionheart instead of looking for conspiracy theories.

What conspiracy theories? Where have you heard conspiracy theories here?

I already went through a discussion on another thread with some who like to throw out that term 'conspiracy theories' off the top of their head and their not being able to prove what they say.

There's a huge difference between documentation and 'conspiracy theories'.

Now if you don't care to look into reference material I've mentioned and find out for yourself, but instead throw it off as conspiracy theory, that only means you're looking for an excuse to not have to find out for yourself. I can understand that if you don't care to do that. But just labeling it as conspiracy theories won't work.

Does the illiminati have a hand in it?

Come on, one wold religion. Please! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Because all the religons of the world can't get along so how on earth are they going to come and join one relkgion and how on earth are they going toa chieve a world communist state if so many people are so vehementlyopposed to communism/socialism. Oh and the UN, well the UN is powerful isn't it? That's why George Bush was able ignore it and invade Iraq anyway.

I've had a brief read about the summit and I can't find anything about a Communist plot to take over the world.

The people at my office can't even pull off a simple surprise party - when I magnify their incompetence by 1000 and consider that people are entirely too greedy and self-serving to work together long enough to pull off a worldwide conspiracy, I am convinced that it is not a real possibility. The productivity and harmony of the UN is a shining example.

Conspiracy theories serve one purpose, as security blankets for people who are afraid of the unknown.

Yet you haven't refuted any of the documentation I've given. Just people saying those things aren't happening means nothing, especially when they haven't made the first attempt to refute the documentation, but only throw out opinion.

It is impossible to refute conspiracy theories. I used to work in a mental institution and my clients always had a reason for their delusions, not matter how far you questioned them, they were never backed into a corner or lacked an answer for why they were actually born on Mars or why the black helicopters were sent by the Russians (who actually ran the CIA and controlled the weather) after them personally.

Big Bro! and political correctness! fed to us day in day out.
If they say something that's just trash again and again year after year eventually people will just accept it, even if they knew it was wrong to start with. we are bombarded with the TV ect brain washing people with trash every day it's just like a sewer pipe coming in to your lounge room.
It's all the work of the Devil.

What must i do to gain eternal life? yes! Jesus said it.
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, whole Soul, whole strength, whole mind and love thy neighbour as thy self.
